I wonder if there is another part to her bankai which would normally be on her left arm
I wonder if there is another part to her bankai which would normally be on her left arm
Thanks for the spoilers and trans.
I think that is a cool bankai. Can't wait to see it drawn then animated. I hope it actually gets a colour page instead. That seems interesting, and you know she will probably have another move with her bankai. A laser beam doesn't seem powerful, but I think it might have an effect like eating away your insides or something. I still don't think Barrigan would die from that just yet.
As for the Ukitake and Liliinete that was funny. Ukitake still hasn't tried hard yet. Wonder if SHE needs her zanpakatou to release anyways, what I mean is in her possession.
I wonder how much recoil using that laser has, if she tied herself to that building. Indeed.
Soi Fon's bankai... a bit too predictable, but sounds fun nevertheless.
As for the chapter, looks like Kubo is either setting things up for the Espadas to survive the ultimate attacks from the Captains and reveal their status.
Alternatives, maybe Harribel and Barrigan will both die and empowers Stark, making sense of his loneliness aspect.
Ha, I knew her bankai's gonna be strong range attack based.
DAMN... Comon why the hell we need several pages of Omeada running, and Ukitake with that whiny kid...
Kubo the troll...
Spoiler!
Hoping Harribel's death doesn't end like Grimmjow's, inconclusive.
I won't say anything til I see it though =O
As for the chapter, no progression, blah blah, doesn't really matter to me because it's obviously showcasing the bankai. Showcasing usually negates all other things for that specific chapter. It negates Monster Cards, the Arrancar; it negates Magic Cards, the way Hitsu defeated Harribel and the magic spell Harribel puts on me everytime I gaze upon her voluptuous beauty...; and the Trap Card about to be pulled by Aizen ^^
Aizen hasn't showed up for past several hundred chapters, or so. Otherwise, it would be something significant when he shows up to say something important, or actually appearing; he's actually insignificant now. Harribel/Hallibel is defeated. Now she's just a frozen fish and ready for packaging...
Spraying honey doesn't suck
Getting stung part does suck
Mm... Honey, delicious and so are flowers that are use to make honey. Having only one arm now, Soi Fon sticks out like a sore thumb. Impossible to _miss her_ at any range.
Can't wait till it reaches 366 rather than 336 for some reason...

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!!
This must be Soi Fon OWNS week, she owns in the manga and kicks Ggio's ass in the anime today. Wow Im so happy I dont give a dam about Hitsugaya or Harribel anymore (even though i did want harribel to break out of that ice and own hitsu), just te realization of Soi Fon's bankai is enough to satisfy me this week!!!![]()
Bleach Asylum's Keigo.

Thanks for the spoilers~!
Ukitake should just Bakudo fcuk Lillinette and call it a day.
It's always bothered me how the Arrancar are treated so "people"-y, while the other hollows were just massacred... pff.
Soi Fon, lovely Soi Fon... Anyone else reminded on the DBZ fight vs. Raditz? Next chappie, it's shown that Soi Fon misses. It ends with Omaeda jumping onto Barragan yelling "Taicho, do it"--with Soi Fon only too happy to oblige. :/
KON~~!!Thanks to Vitron for this *sexy* Kon pic!

The thing is, they're kind of supposed to be predictable. The rule so far is that the use and/or the form of the bankai is determined by the use and/or form of the shikai. This amusing comic strip gives some nice examples:
Spoiler!
So for Soifon, her shikai determined the form of her bankai---if you think of her shikai as a bladed glove that covers her hand, her bankai is a glove that covers her whole arm.
And I'm beginning to notice a pattern here:
Yumichika won't use his real shikai around others because it runs counter to the 11th division's self-definition---fighters those who use straight combat only, no kidou trickery. That is to say, he doesn't like to use his full power because it conflicts with self-image as a fighter.
Ikkaku won't use his bankai around others because he doesn't want to be forced into captaincy, but perhaps also because using a bankai at all runs counter to the Kenpachi definition (or maybe former definition) of, as he says to Ichigo, "guys like us" ---fighters who rely on their own strength and use their zanpakutou. Ikkaku would probably consider himself one of these "guys like us", and if this has anything to do with his unwillingness to use his bankai, then we can say of him as well that he doesn't like to use his full power because if conflicts with his self-image as a fighter.
Soifon only used her bankai as a last resort, and apparently not for the reason that I at least thought, that it was so immature a bankai that it was more effective to use her shikai and her stellar hand-to-hand skills. Instead, she only waited to bring it out because she doesn't think it's a suitable weapon for an assassin---it is unwieldy (as she has to tie herself to a building just to use it), flashy, and probably loud. As a bankai, however, it is undoubtedly more powerful. So we can say yet again, she doesn't like to use her full power because it conflicts with her self-image as a fighter.
I think all three of them need to get over themselves. Hopefully Ikkaku had some sense knocked into him by Iba, and one hopes when the guy recovers from his cero-ing he will do the same for the other two. This goes double for Soifon, since she lectured Oomeda about how he should have snuck up behind Ggio and hit him while he wasn't looking if he wanted to help her, and that he was an ass for trying to play the self-sacrificing subordinate. She's been doing the exact same thing by not using the most effective means of attack because she wants to play the assassin.
If Soifon manages to pull this one out, I imagine there will be less of an outcry than if Hitsugaya wins, if only because we haven't seen her fight nearly as much as don't know as much about her power. At this point, I really can't make a prediction---it really could go either way.
I thought of the exact same thing. I thought of the TFS Abridged parody, though, especially the part where Piccolo goes, "Daa daa dadada...dada dada...daa daa dadada dadadadada chargin' my attack."
