I don't know exactly what Kubo said, but the people present interpreted it in a literal way, seeing as Ichigo's seiyuu went all "So we don't know if he's alive or dead?" and Shinji's seiyuu asked if it would be best to collect the ashes to resurrect him, etc.

Well, we got the whole business of HM and Yammy to wrap up yet...plus Isshin, Urahara, Yoriuchi and co need to make appearences. At least Urahara and Yoru...I think either of them would step in if things got beyond the point of drastic.

Also, we got Ichigo's emoing over what happened to the dome, Orihime's coming to terms with what happened and the rest of the nakama's reaction, plus the inevitable reunion of Rukia and Orihime. Unless Aizen kidnaps her....AGAIN.

There's also Kensei's and the little Bastardspada's fight and whether Kensei winds up like the rest of the Vizards except Shinji. How sad that most of them got cut up; at least Mashiro only got punched in the face hard.

I'm more interested about bodies since they look like Yoruichi and Urahara... although someone said that they also look like Yoruichi and Soi Fon... I myself go for first guess and since Kubo said that they will play big role, I'm very curiouse about them.

No, i would also really love it if other arrancars came back. Kubo could work it in if he really wanted to i mean, technically Grimmjow is still live (he's just laying in the sand somewhere bleeding...) and he's talked about Ulquiorra and what not. And a couple of other arrancar's deaths were "questionable" at best and could be spun so they didnt really "die" after all. So why NOT bring back a couple other arrancars?

Lack of fanbase? Lack of fandom outcry or other signs of interest in seeing more of the character? Just because there's set-up for others doesn't mean they'll be back.

This is true. Of course one could argue that just because a character doesnt have the biggest fan base or wont have a big part in the story doesnt necessarily mean they wont live or come back. But im not saying some people wont die or stay dead either.

Either way, i guess its just up to KT what fate he has in mind for each character, whatever that may be.
