It sounds like Szayel was right in the middle of whatever it is that Aizen's planning. That ups the odds of his survival. He needs to explain his results for the rest of us! I wonder if removal of the little green-haired problem Szayel helped Nnoitra with might be involved? Talk of "common motives" sounds intriguing as far as Szayel's research goes, and that got a lot of panel-time.

Really, this is good news if Szayel's research is that important. Can we tentatively say, then, that any Arrancar whose body is still intact is that way for a reason? That would clear up some of these questionable deaths we've been arguing about in other threads.

Uh...I sincerely doubt that the Arrancars will have survivors...the Retard maybe, but Halibel, Stark and Yammy more than likely are goners because Bad Guys Usually Die.

I also don't think what Szayel was doing was part of Aizen's plan. Maybe...but Szayel is like Mayuri which is why that battle was friggin' perfect; they both are psycho scientists who won't miss an oppoturnity to play around.

While I'm happy for something on Isshin(which means we'll also get something from Ryuken), I still would like a backstory on why Aizen is 'SO EVEEELLL'.

I wonder if Kubo hinted at any one possibly getting killed off in the current action?

And if Karakura gets destroyed, somehow I have the feeling that Urahara, Yoriuchi, Tessai and Isshin probaly made sure Tatsuki, Keigo and the lesbian are all safe, along with Kon-Ichigo...

If it's not part of Aizen's plan, then Szayel is doing his own thing. That's an even more interesting possibility. If it's important enough for us to get foreshadowing and a hint about info coming up, it's Important. Szayel is up to something either way. That should answer the question of whether he's important enough to live.

The villains may usually die, but right now we don't know that SS is good. We'll see ... It sounds like there's some good stuff coming up.

I can understand the right one being Luppi, but the left one (and I'm not trying to nitpick here) didn't Cirucci originally had a skirt on? And I'm sure Szayel isn't the type to just take them off just for kicks (and I'm not trying to imply anything!).

The picture looks like the girl is on tights, but the boots/shoes are left intact.

You already implied without implying it. Cirucci had a butterfly attire on with the mini-skirt (one piece clothing). Luppi was long gone dead and disintegrated by Grimmjow in Chapter Regeneration, before Kurosaki Ichigo fought with Dorodoni in Chapter 5 Ways to 3 Figures and Baron's Lecture 1st Period; it eventually leads back to Ishida Uryuu again who's equivalent to Kurosaki Ichigo.

Goddamn Szayel Aporro has set up way too many traps... The one who harvested Dorodoni and Cirucci were the Exequinas, who were Under Szayel Apporo's Orders. Aizen been dupe. Basically what Szayel Aporro looked like Cirucci in Fornicaras Form, where Cirucci release was a Swallowtail (Bird/Butterfly) = Szayel Aporro = Phoenix.

What? Who cares about Keigo and Chizuru? I don't see why Kubo would bother saving them. They're just the comic relief. There's lots of other comic relief characters to take their place.

That scene really made me think of Tatsuki as a childhood friend to Ichigo, even if at that point he was pushing her away. From that point on I didn't want her to die, that would be too sad. At the very least, before the end of Bleach, Ichigo should let her in on the stuff she has the right to know.

Kon is useless though, he's just there for comic relief, and to a small degree, as a way for Ichigo to leave his body. Truth is though, he almost never serves as a way for Ichigo to leave his body. Now, Ichigo has his little badge thing. So Kon is just comic relief now. Meaning he can die and I'd be fine with it lol.

She and the other two know about Ichigo, since they saw Ichigo and the other two go into HM. And somehow just because you don't like them, I don't think Kubo's going to let Tatsuki, Kon and whomever get killed off...if Aizen obliterates Karakura.
