I read somewhere that she used to draw a yaoi/shonen ai manga under a pen name but I really can't recall where I've read that...

Yeah she did and Sebs and Ciel are actually based of that as in like the characthers faces xD. It's on mangafox somewhere i'll have to redig it out.

but.... beware that it's really yaoi, you get to see the nasty and all that stuff and there's even a shota chapter, though all her uke's look kinda shota to me the style is still really different from what she is doing now, but you can see the resemblance in some scenes quite well.

Ok, Yana is an amazing artist, but I've always wondered- why a great manga artist like this wastes her time with such sick things. Anyways- what's wrong with the women these days- aren't there enought straight men so women are so crazy abour the gay ones. Nothing against gay people, but ... when I think of it gays aren't that sick as the female artists show em they are. I wish I'm right on this.
