JUMP FESTA 2009 Limited CD BLEACH BEAT COLLECTION SPECIAL

It's a special limited CD given away in JUMP Festa if you bought goods from Aniplex booth. Inside is IchiRuki's duet: glow in piano version and each of Ichigo and Rukia's own version. I didn't go to JUMP Festa but I found the CD in one anime shop who sells it for unbelieveable price. I knew it's a damn rip off but I still bought it because I'm a stupid fangirl like that

The first time you get this cd, I think you may thought, "There's no way they really include it," or so but as Ori-chan has said, there's a piano version of our duet, Glow and Rukia's only version, also Ichigo's only version and last the version of us speaking like these together, well it's not a version oi. And so it becomes one special cd. Wonderful isn't it? After watching the movie you could listen to this song. And the real version as well, well it's weird to call it a real version, this version is also a real version, maybe it will be better to call it 'another version'. So I hope you could enjoy listening to these songs. Eeh, and from now on we will work hard on Bleach as well so everyone please support us. A little about the discussion earlier, DDR did, did very well. Not only because he was the most popular character at that time (maybe he still is now ), but it's also because most Bleach fans watch it, regardless which ship they are from.

FtB focuses on Ichigo's and Rukia's bond. It's a blessing to IchiRuki fans or it can also be served as a reminder to non-shippers out there that Bleach is about Ichigo and Rukia. Like what Annie said, a certain fandom out there might not watching.

They may not be a large group compared to us, but I won't deny their existence.

But even so, FtB ranks better than DDR in the first week.

Nah, it would be an obvious fanservice. I think one movie is enough, marvellous things should be limited. Studio will spoil public with too many IchiRuki goodies.

Does anyone think that this might influence Kubo in some way, to give us more IchiRuki on the manga soon?

I think he planned it from the very beginning, so we should just wait.

Does anyone think listening to them sing Glow solo, sounds, sad or empty almost?

Edit: I want to first say, that I love these songs and the piano versions are wonderful. (thanks again Sketchbaka) What I was saying earlier was that I have listened to Glow so much, that to hear ichi or ruki sing it with no response from the other, to me sounds very sad.

No, not really..

It sounds soothing, in my opinion, it makes me feel relax especially when I'm feeling anxious. I'm playing it repeatedly every night before I go to sleep, since I'm having a hard time falling asleep, it helps me calm down before going to bed.

And every time I'm listening to this song, there are times when I just can't help but smile (unconciously ).

Yes, it was a typical shounen movie (and yaoi-ish if you asked me ) so Bleach fans in general will watch it. Of course unless you hate Hitsugaya

TBH, I don't think other fandom really is a factor because compare to IchiRuki we know it's really small especially in Japan. But yeah, imagine Rukia-haters, IchiRuki hater will probably ignore this movie. I think I'm amaze at how well FTB doing is simply because it mostly focuses on IchiRuki bond yet it manages to stay at same par as DDR which was an all-out shounen movie. I truly am happy. It shows how big IchiRuki fanbase is in Japan and the positive responses FTB received it show fans don't have anything against IchiRuki and are pretty cool with it.

Why am I so happy when some people might simply diss it out that 'fans would watch the movie if it has fights in it'. Er....MON was a big failure, was it not? Even in manga itself fights don't make it successful. If people hate a character or hate the story, they will simply not going to bother with it.

Let me show you some random info regarding 2008's Top Selling Manga. I will just post of Bleach tankoubon ranks and their sell then. Here is the link in case you want a confirmation that I didn't made it up.

12. Bleach #34 (ch 296- 305: Captains show up) sold 874,153 copies

17. Bleach #33 (ch 287- 295: NnoiNel flashback and fight) sold 802,692 copies

18. Bleach #35 (ch 307-315: Ken vs Nnoi and Aizen entered the real world) sold 761,802 copies

35. Bleach #32 (ch 279-286 Ichigo vs GJ )only sold 519,631 copies

And right now Vol 36 (turn back the pendulum) has sold at least 751,547 (and this is the record from its second week released).

See anything here? (if you get my message do remember I won't allow OT talks, ok?) I meant to show that if people dislike the characters or fights they will not going to waste their money on it. Ichigo vs GJ 3rd fight which was oh-so-epic for many makes the lowest sell ever on Bleach Tankoubon. I meant to show this could have applied for IchiRuki-ness in FTB as well. If people truly dislike IchiRuki, they wouldn't waste their time and money watching the film (especially when it heavily promoted as a shippy movie). Most responses say they see IchiRuki-ness in it. And for it to earn this much (and continues earning) speaks the volume how fans feel natural to this pairing. So be happy that FTB earn this much because I really doubt it would have been the same for any other pairings.

@Annie: thanks for bringing out the ranks and all, but please everyone, remember that I don't want to see character or pairing bashing here
But, as you said, people could have diss the movie; truth is, even non-shippers agree that it's the best movie out of the 3. It has great fights and great art, great animation and the plot is good. I love how IchiRuki is just so natural that it's not shocking for them to have such mushy lines from Ichigo
Fans are fast to show if they're pleased or not, me think. MON was kicked out the top 10 of the most seen movies on its 2nd week and is often described as the worst movie out of the 3.
I think that if FtB had triggered the same anger, it wouldn't do so well. Because, of course IchiRuki shippers will see it, but non-shippers will too; so, I'm glad that such a mushy movie, in its own way, gets the fandom approval

Personal comment: I always thought that the IchiGJ fight was the lamest of all, and it looks like a lot of people agree ._. And I'm happy vol36 is doing well, I'm sure it'll sell more than 800K copies
