I have been doing a lot of rereading in the manga. Today I came across a profound line that I didn't remember before that I think sums up Ichigo's feelings for Rukia. In chapter 269 last page,when Ichigo turns because he feels Rukia's reiatsu drop, and is confronted by Urq., there is a sentence that says, "There is no heart without you".

Edit: I looked a little closer, and that is the name of the volume 30. So no, it may not be referring to Rukia.

Though I'm not really sure if the quote refers to Rukia . I know, of course, that this was during the time when Ichigo felt Rukia's reiatsu dropped, but since I'm not sure, I'm gonna wait for what the others has to say .

Actually, I noticed that too. and I think it does refer to Rukia. just because if you think about their relationship. Rukia is the center of Ichigo's world. He lives and breathes for her, and without her in his life. he wouldn't be the same boy we all know and love. Same goes for Rukia too, Ichigo took that guilt over Kaien away. Seriously, though, it makes sense that it would refer to Rukia but it could be me stuck up in fangirl heaven :P

That quote is indeed the title of the volume, which has Kaien on it. So I'm thinking... it could refer to that quote where he says, "A heart is born between us when we interact. If there was only one person in the world, there wouldn't be a heart anywhere."

Buuuut, it's mighty suspicious for it to be typed after Ichigo's reaction. I thihk Kubo is just sly that way. It really does apply to them, after all. They have the deepest relationship in Bleach. :3

Ah, like a few others, I had my mom listen to the IchiRuki duet. And she said it sounds like a love song too. XD When I told her that some people think they're siblings, she couldn't believe it. XD Responses from outsiders are great. :P

That quote has nothing to do with IchiRuki. The whole volumes makes it clear it relates to Rukia remembers Kaien's words and she letting go of her guilt. Yeah, it relates to Rukia but from KaiRuki relationship's perspective. Based on IchiRuki relationship the quote can apply to them as well but not this time.

At the end of each volume there is always a volume title written in the last page. And Kubo could add something else in the next page. Like at the end Vol. 35 (chapter 315 where Ulq came back and Ichigo sensed him) the end text is, "The end is far" to indicate HM arc is not over.

And here is something on a happy news:

Bleach: Fade to Black - Kimi no Na o Yobu so far earns $6,032,296 . But it's weird when I look at the top ten chart for last week it didn't have FTB in it while all other reports show FTB is still at 10th.

Anyway, it looks pretty good for Fade To Black Sketchy told me even all the recent CMs and OP show the text 'A big success movie!' for this film. I hope Kubo sensei and the animators are proud that people do love IchiRuki bond. I really don't think any other bond can make them this proud

Aahhhh such wonderful news I'm happy to see that fans really enjoyed the movie and that it has garnered such wonderful reviews, even from nonshippers.

I'm not surprised though, and I think Kubo Sensei and the animators are proud of their work; after all, look at all the promotion that went for this movie since the middle of last year...CMs, merchandise, novels, guidebooks, phamplets, interviews...I remember just a few weeks ago we could not even keep up anymore with how much stuff flooded in. And you can just see how happy those who made the movie are through the interviews and such. Morita, our ever loving IchiRuki fanboy hehe, and even Kubo has gotten quite bold with his statements, no? Not to mention, everyone is curious to know...is IchiRuki happening?

I'm exited. We get a movie AND a sweet moment in the manga where Kubo chooses to put Rukia in there, concern etched all over her face when she thinks of Ichigo. Should be interesting xD

This is such a great news! I'm so happy that Fade to Black is doing really well in Japan. Hmm, I wonder what's the comparison between Fade to Black and the other 2 movies does anyone know?

I'm pretty sure that 2009 will be a year filled with Ichiruki goodness!

With the success of this film...

(1) Does anyone think they might make another movie focusing on IchiRuki?

(2) Does anyone think that this might influence Kubo in some way, to give us more IchiRuki on the manga soon?

Since it's Ruki's Bday month , of all the quotes, phrases, words, what do you think best describes her to ichigo and why... ?

I like this quote. The rain symbolized sadness and misery in Ichigo's world. Among all the people in his life, Rukia is the only one who was able to removed that sadness from his heart and made him happy at last.

"She's the one who changed my destiny, a precious person" - Ichigo to Rukia (FTB Novel)

It's a very sweet quote from Ichigo to Rukia. He describe her as someone precious, someone who's valuable and irreplaceable. She changed his life for the better and because of this, she's a very special person to him <333
