It is about time, ICHIRUKI is back in the manga. But what is confusing is, where are the minor characters. But now all we need is, Rukia to rush in when Ichi is fighting Ulquirro. And then, an awesome scene to unfold!!

Annie (and Danna), thanks so much for posting the spoiler.

I love how Kubo places an equilibrium in their relationship, where not only one party is concerned over the other, but both of them shows similar concern for each other. That's how a good relationship should work, where there is a mutual concern between them.

I miss dear Rukia, and I'm really glad that she'll be back in ch 340. It's great that Kubo emphasizes on the fact that she is a strong woman and is able to stand up for herself and her friends.

Another good sign that both parties (Ichigo and Rukia) are great fighters, and that makes them a shonen-worthy couple.

Ya'll are right, after all that "Rukiaghhhh!"ing it is really hard to remember that Ichigo and Rukia are not long lost Shakespere charectors, I mean, FTB really zapped my ideahs of IchiRuki and turned the "possibilty of mushiness" rate up pretty high, so going back to the manga with all this "normal" stuff going on is realy weird! And isn't it strange that the entire time FTB was on hype there was no IchiRuki in the manga, but now that the FTB stuff is toned down there's IchiRuki in the manga? I do believe our dear Kubo-Sensei is a geniouse, trying to make sure we have IchiRuki one way or another yes? And of all weeks for this chapter to come out...I DO wounder if he realizes that there's IchiRuki in the (English dubbed) anime this wekk? Yes, 'tis all comeing together now Oh, and here's something interesting, not sure if anyone realized this before or if I'm just slow, but did anyone else notice that Rukia's b-day is on Jan 14th and Ichi's is July 15th now of all dates.... why not July 12th? Or the 24th? Because it's a meassage! Subtle Kubo, very subtle, and here's a fun little question that I thought of

If somehow (and please don't bother with the mechanics this is just in dream land) Rukia gained a hollow side (or already has it) and her hollow met Hichigo, do you think they'd get along? Do you think they'd be more or less open with their feelings than Ichigo and Rukia are? Eh, just something I've been woundering, too many fanarts speaking of, I love your's Pikiesh! To answer my own question: I think it'd be funny, they'd probbably not only get along but try to scheme up "fun and inventive" ways to get Ichi and Ru together, I just see them as the type to do that

Ichigo...willing to leave the entire mission behind at the hint of Rukia's reitsue decreasing. Rukia...ignoring her opponent when she hears blasts where Ichigo is and suddenly gets concerned over him. Tsk, Kubo does certainly take time out to focus on how these two feel when they sense the other is in trouble. Its very sweet.

It would seem that way, wouldn't it? I wasn't expecting any Rukia this chapter at all, but man, she takes out the WHOLE SQUAD OF EXEQUIAS? Man, and Renji is right there in ban kai mode. That really shows him up.

Rukia fanservice for sure. And the Rukia-->Ichigo moment. ARGH! I'm dying to see the panel. The scan is already out for the glance Ulquiorra gives Orihime (Ichigo doesn't look anything but kind beat-up... where's the rage?) I WANT MY RUKI-->ICHI expression NAO!

Ichigo doesn't have any rage because he seems very tired of fighting, and doesn't look like he particularly cares what Ulq says at this point (Exhausted, anyone?). This definitely isn't the Ichigo of the Soul Society arc, who stood tall and swore on his soul that he would rescue Rukia, at all costs. This is Fail!Ichigo that can't gather enough resolve to actually win battles.

I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't as powerful as he was at the end of the SS arc (minus the Vizard element). For his full potential to be brought out, he needs to be fighting for something very meaningful to him, after all.

In the back of my head, at first shirosaki doesn't seem to listen to anyone not even to Hollow Rukia. He does what he wants without regards for anyone not even Ichigo. However I think Ichigo has forced him to listen. I still don't think he'd get along not even with hollow Rukia. Sorry it's a lame answer the best I can do

I think at first, they wouldnt get along. But eventually over time, eventually adapted to one anothers prescence. But because they both seem so evil and all that, i reckon they would cook up some evil scheme to bring Ichi and Ruki together. Because they most know how they feel, being inside of them all the time!

I'm sure the spoiler page we have is the page where Ulqui is asking Ichigo if he has powered up for Orihime or for his friends. Funny that he didn't react at all. However, I'm sure we suppose to see his anger face on the next page. Or may be it's when Ulqui is rambling how Orihime is one of them.

Blah, it has nothing to with us anyway. If that really is supposed to be Ichigo's 'pissed off' look than I will laugh at how lame it is I still remember back in SS when Ichigo never need anyone to ask him why did he power up. He pretty much declared it himself that he gained bankai for Rukai's sake Beside, in chapter 340 I just want to see a page where Rukia said Ichigo's name. She must be very concern about him. I wonder if Kubo is hinting anything here. It would be nice if she could see his fight this time.
