I still say it's all one massive distraction for Aizen to send in Arrancar to trash SS, now he's lured all Captains and their Vices out.

I still think Stark is the uno espada, but its looking more like bragan is. However are the current Espada Vasto Lorde it was stated eariler, the more powerful the class of menos the more human like the become, that doesn't explain Grantz but just throwin that out there

While it may mean that Hisagi gets in trouble, it would be a perfect opportunity to let the vizards into the picture. I can picture it now, kensi saving Hisagi as the arrancar are about to take his pillar.

This would set up a good reason for SS to cooperate with the visards, at least until Anzien's forces are defeted. It would also be a great negotiating point for the visards, if they are trying to prove that they are in control of their hollow powers and should not be treated like their arrancar brethren.

Yay, winter war! Now I'm really happy Although I had no problem with the Ichi-Ulq fight but still... And it's really nice to see these four again. I missed them.
Also, I believe Barragan is the not the first Espada, but who knows. Maybe he is giving orders to everyone because he is the most experienced but I doubt that. We'll have to wait and find out.

This is looking to be the great chapter I was hoping it would be. I'm glad the focus went back to Karakura. Barragan giving orders has made my day. I've been wanting to see him do more. OLD MAN NEEDS LOVE! Also, to be stopped by Hisagi, Izuru, Yumichika, and Ikkaku? Awesome! I was hoping we'd see some others, and boom, there they are. I can't wait to see what else is going on.

if they are as strong as GJ's fraccion, which they should at least be close, then it would take at least bankai to beat them

hell, Ikkaku barely won with bankai, and I dont think he is so much weaker than the VC's
