Description:
Taiki has long blonde hair that falls straight around his face and reaches down his back almost to his belt. He has blue eyes and a slender build, though his usual expression reveals that he has seen and suffered more than would be readily apparent. At the moment, his right hand is missing at about halfway down his forearm, and he has a large scar on the right side of his neck, among others.
-Update: As of the present moment, Taiki has been healed to full fighting capacity. He wears the standard Soul Reaper uniform, nonstandard white boots, bracers on his arms with attached white gloves, small shoulder gaurds, and a nondescript cowl over his face.

History:
Shortly after under-performing on a spate of missions in the living world, including performing the original blundered konso that led to Kimura Tomokane posessing an Inner Hollow, Taiki was selected to be part of a detail springing a trap for a large number of Hollows in Hueco Mundo [Hollow Mission 1]. Instead of being one of the shinigami springing the trap, however, Taiki was given the dubious honour of being one of the 'bait'- his mission was to attack one of the largest targets he could find, in order to make the fake shinigami of the 'bait' seem genuine. After surviving a battle with the Gillian Hueso Cabra, Taiki turned up in Soul Society some months later, secretly posessing a Bakkoto that replaced his severed right hand and elevated his spiritual pressure to Captain-class levels, allowing him to perform Bankai in a battle with Kimura Tomokane and Ouji Shirosawa. During the course of this battle, he was defeated by Kimura's Hollow, and his Bakkoto destroyed by Ouji after the battle, taking advantage of his weakened condition. Without the Bakkoto, Taiki's power levels have plummeted to thier current levels.
-Update: Taiki later turned up in fourth division missing most of the Bakkoto and in a seriously injured state. Once there, however, his injuries were quickly healed, the few remaining metal parts of the Bakkoto removed, and his missing right hand regrown using Sayuri's cell-regrowth technique. As soon as he was able, Taiki left the medical centre with the repaired Yuushuumori, and has currently rejoined the gotei 13 under a different name.

Personality
Many aspects of Taiki's personality recall a typical medieval knight. While he speaks in contemporary language, if he's having fun in a fight he will pepper his speech with phrases such as 'have at!' and 'engarde!'
Accordingly, Taiki feels no need to be rude to opponents, although the experience of his life so far has taught him that usual honourable conventions, such as challenging opponents directly or attacking from the fore, have no place in actual combat.
The shiny knightly persona has been partially crusted over with a rust of cynicism, and since what he saw as his betrayal by Soul Society, he has been unable to shake the resentment he feels deep inside, even after rejoining them. Recent experiences, though, have softened this attidute to the point where he no longer considers the gotei 13 his enemies. Now, Taiki just needs a purpose, having grown tired of living for vengeance.

Zanpakuto: 'Yuushuumori [Melancholy Lance]', an average-length katana with golden-yellow bindings and a rectangualr tsuba, with subtle curling patterns engraved on it. It has been fully repaired from its previously broken state.
Shikai: 'Impale, Yuushuumori'. With this command, Yuushuumori transforms into a long, wide-bladed lance. The blade is divided into two down the middle, the empty core holding glowing white energy. Taiki can fire blasts of this energy by swinging or stabbing with the lance. When fired, the energy makes a mournful crying noise, hence the name, 'Melancholy lance'. In system terms, this allows Taiki to make normal attacks at range.
*Zanpakuto ability: Kanashii Nakigoe [Sorrowful Cry]. A strong attack unleashing all of Yuushuumori's radiance in a single blast. Stabbing the lance tip into the ground, or levelling it at an opponent, Taiki either unleashes the radiance in a circle around himself [ten feet radius], or fires a searing column of light wide enough to swallow an average adult. Whichever variation is performed, Yuushuumori's energies are temporarily expended, leaving it unable to perform ranged attacks for the next turn as it recharges. It still holds its Shikai shape. Cost: 1,000. Does 150% damage. This damage is 'Radiant', and so deals 200% damage to creatures composed fully or partially of darkness or shadows, and cancels any shadow or darkness-based abilities in the targeted area.
Bankai: Zokunen no Yuushuumori. Without the Bakkoto's power, Taiki can no longer perform this Bankai.

Character Description:
When she was alive, Yori worked part-time at a maid cafe. On her way home one rainy day, a car swerved out of control and bumped her off the bridge sending her to the rushing waters below. She fell unconscious and drowned to death.

After death, Yori became a bar girl in the 53rd district of western rukongai. By chance she came to meet the captain of twelfth division of the time, Otowari Keiji, who saved her from a life of danger and endless poverty. She repays this debt by serving as the division's maid, though she does this somewhat half-heartedly at times. She has quite the temper and has a mouth that would even put a sailor to shame, so one should be rather cautious before attempting to order her around. In her free time she likes to listen to music, read, and enjoy the company of those she has come to call friends. Of particular interests, she likes anything related to yaoi and gets herself as many yaoi doujinhis as her paycheck allows. Due to the circumstances behind her death, she has an extreme fear of cars, trying to hide it behind hatred.

Yori never had any formal academic training in being a shinigami and learned everything she knows from her captain and friends. She has trouble with kidou and doesn't know, nor concentrate much on it. True to her short temper, she tends to attack hard and fast.

She has long, dark blonde hair with incredibly straight bangs and green eyes. Her shinigami uniform has been heavily altered to resemble that of a maid's.

Character Description:
When alive, Lisa was a student at a college studying Psychology, but was killed instantly in a hit and run accident. When she awoke in the soul society in the Rukon District. Lisa found work as a teacher in a make shift school that helped the youngest part of the community learn to read, write and draw, Lisa later went on to train at Shinou Academy to become a soul reaper and was placed in devision 10.

Personality: Lisa's personality is best described as mis-leading, she tends to act cute and nice, but if you say something that she thinks is wrong her true colors show and she's hot-headed with anger issues, her death glare tends to scare some of the male Shinigami, but her intentions are good and she could never betray a friend.

In battle she tends to go over board and her killer instinct shines through.

She actually sealed it so that it appears and functions like a pencil she tucks behind her left ear. However, it's also been known to be able to be transformed into other things as it's wielder desires. A marvel of modern technology, and the reason she'd been recruited by 12th Division during her days at the academy.

Physical Description:

Chihiro-chan is a cute, young looking girl, around 18 years old. She's about 5'2, 100 lbs with a moderately sized chest and somewhat pale looking skin. Her hair is long, lavender and curled at the ends. She has light pink eyes, the standard nerdy looking glasses, and wears a beret that she finds to be quite stylish.

Her uniform is quite a bit different from normal. It's the standard black with white trim, however rather than the normal shinigami robes, hers appear to be a sailor girl outfit with long sleeves. The shirt is tight and hugs her chest, with long sleeves that stretch to the middle of her hands. Her socks are instead all black, and stretch up to the middle of her thighs, and she's forsaken the normal sandals for a pair of dress shoes she ordered from the living world.

Chihiro is a bit of a nerd, and for the most part she's pretty laid back. She does tend to be pretty serious about her work though, and she's very strict about following all lab rules and proper procedure. She's been known to on occasion use violence against those who don't show proper respect for lab protocol.

Outside of work though, she's generally a cheerful, pleasant person to be around. Her nerdy appearance would lend most to believe she's probably more socially awkward than she actually is in reality.

Character Description:
In celebration of her birthday, Sera and her younger sister had a girls day out returning home at a considerably late hour. On the way back home from the ice cream parlor where the two girls shared desserts, she and her sister were attacked by a gang. While attempting to flee from the gang her sister ran into oncoming traffic. Sera sacrificed her life in an attempt to save her sister. When she arrived in Soul Society, she found herself in the 64th district of Northern Rukongai. After dying she goes to soul society not knowing the outcome of the event that caused her death, and whether her sister was saved or killed.

After wandering around trying to grasp just where she was and what happened, she ended up getting into some trouble with a local group of hoodlums. Luckily, she was saved by a man who befriends her and explains her current predicament to her. The two quickly became the best of friends and the man would eventually become her love interest. One day after noticing her spiritual ability, he suggests that she becomes a soul reapur as a means to finding the out the fate of her sister more quickly, however its only when he tragically dies that she ends up entering the academy.

Scoring fairly high on the entrance exam, she was admitted into the elite class and ended up graduating within four years forcing herself to work hard to achieve her goals faster. She excels in hand to hand combat.


Appearance:
She has very dark brown hair and brown eyes. Her hair is wavy and slightly frizzy falling down to her shoulders. She appears to be a bit of a tomboy, but cleans up well. Her cheeks are always tinted pink, and her skin tans easily so she is dark in the summer, but pale in the winter.

Personality:
Generally a kind and caring person, but woe and behold, if you get on her bad side she's quite the force to be reckoned with. For the most part she is pretty easy to get along with and is an amiable person. She'll protect her friends with her life if necessary. Overall she has a strong moral standard.

She is sensitive to anything that reminds of the time she spent with her sister and what she had lost. Meeting anyone her sisters age automatically sparks a protective instinct within her.

She still takes the death of her best friend pretty hard as well, and becomes easily distraught when reminded of him through various means.

Character Appearance: Karin is a petite girl standing at about 5 foot 3. Her skin is pale, with raven colored hair that is short and unkempt. She has stunning amber colored eyes that almost sparkle (when her hair isn't getting in the way.)

Her uniform is basic, the only things she adds to her ensemble is a sea green choker and earrings.


Character Description: Karin while somewhat stoic, is a rather bashful individual, blushing at the mere mention of her name at times. She tries her best to seem approachable and friendly to others although she sometimes tries too hard, like laughing a little too much at a joke or letting the wrong words slip from her mouth. She can be sort of oblivious to certain things like tension/angst in the air between two comrades and continue as if nothing is taking place.

In battle she maintains the same stoical attitude maybe a bit more excited than usual, she may have a love for fighting but would deny ever feeling such things for combat.

Karin has few hobbies but one of her past times is observing others...'you may learn of something, that person has yet to see in themselves' she'd say. She also enjoys hot tea on cold nights and singing.

Name : Hattori Tamaki

Personality : Tamaki is a young, curious Shinigami. Most of the Seireitei, so when she is not needed by one of her superior officers, she enjoys running off and exploring.

Tamaki strongly dislikes close combat fighting, and to her disadvantage almost refuses to practice her zanjutsu skills beyond what was required of her to pass Academy. While she always carries her zanpakuto with her, she is in fact quite afraid of her own sword. She has yet to learn its name.

When training, Tamaki focuses on improving her kidou. She loves casting kidou spells, and believes them to look very beautiful.
Physical Description : Tamaki is 4'4" tall. She has short, straight black hair, vivid green eyes, and light brown skin. She wears a butterfly hairpin on her right side to keep her bangs back.

Tamaki wears the usual shinigami outfit, with her sash loosely tied off to the left side. Because of her short stature, she ties her zanpakuto on her back with a second white sash.
History : Tamaki was born in the first district of West Rukongai. She began attending the Shinigami Academy at the urge of her brother. While Tamaki showed a natural affinity for kidou and shunpo, she had severely lacking hand-to-hand and zanjutsu skills. In her sixth year at the academy, Tamaki graduated from the academy. Her kidou skills were among the top of her class, but her zanjutsu skills were still lacking.

Hansha
Nusubito's special ability is to capture, store, and fire back any non-physical attack used against it (Kido, Cero, etc.) It has Four Chevron shaped holes in the blade, which are a physical representaion of what power it is storing. However, it can only store a maximum of four different attacks at once, and some attacks may take up more than once slot.
Cost: Match Speed of Attack to Store up to (1/4 Reiatsu) per slot. Fire back at will; can be boosted with speed.

Henkan
This ability enhances Nusubito's absorbtion abilites, and allows absorbed attacks to be converted into raw Reiatsu or health.

Character Description : Varas is a generally laid back and kind person, and fircely loyal to close friends. That said, he is somewhat of a loner, often sitting out of large crowds.
Varas' was killed in a car accident, Swerving to avoid a woman (who turned out to be shinigami) in the road.
Soon after arriving in Rukongai, the shinigami who led to his death found him and appologied, refering him to the shinigami academy.

History
Rion was a medical doctor back when he’s still alive. He had a rather mediocre spiritual power, allowing him to only feel the presence of souls, but not the ability to see them. One day, when he was doing a medical project he made a terrible mistake, causing him to suffer from a deadly virus, until eventually died at the age of 23. A shinigami whom he didn’t know the name did a soul burial to him around three days after his death.

Rion was reborn in the Northern Rukongai. He went straight to the Shinigami Academy. He was slightly more interested in using kido rather than zanpakuto. Though he finally found out he didn’t do very well in hado, he’s pretty good at bakudo. After the graduation, he gathers information about the Gotei 13 and without hesitation, joined the 4th division because its specialty in healing department.

He learned the medical arts from his friends in the 4th division and continuously training to achieve his shikai. Ultimately, he achieved his shikai form and learned its first ability – which he was not really satisfied with. His first shikai ability, roughly, a healing technique. But it required some physical combat to activate the healing. Despite the fact that he’s not satisfied with the ability, he believed that if he continued training hard, he could achieve a more efficient healing technique, without involving any physical combat, of course.

Personality
Rion is the silent-type. He doesn’t talk much, only raising his voice if there’s something really important to talk about. Despite the silent-type, Rion actually loves socialising with other people in his division. He also tends to avoid any kind of changes. Like when he was still on earth, because of his father’s job, he must move to another town. He really hated it and found it really hard to adapt to this new town. And also, as a shinigami, he hates to fight. He always sits back and watches other shinigami fight, unless he’s forced to.

Appearance
Lean. Light yellow, short hair. Black, square glasses. Around 180 cms tall. His eyes are deep black. White skin. Regular shinigami outfit.

Rion unsheathes his zanpakuto (yes, to release his zanpakuto, he must first make sure it is sheathed), point it forward and shout the command. The release command is “Show off, Ginkerikeion!” After the command is said, the zanpakuto shines as the blade and hilt turns silver. The blade also becomes slimmer but slightly longer than its released form. The hilt changes form as well, shaping a head of snake, with seven rubies attached to the pommel.
Its first ability is some kind of healing ability. First, Rion stabs someone with the command “Utsu” (cannot be done to himself) in any part of their body. This stab will do no damage and the person won’t feel any pain. Next, for every physical attack Rion does to someone else (or himself) will heal the stabbed person for the half amount of damage done.

Appearance: Kagami true appearance is a faceless male human body. However it can freely change into any form it has seen including that of the spirits of the Zanpakutou it has turned into.
Personality: Kagami is a know it all, literally. Anything that Kenta or Kagami have ever seen or heard is stored in Kagami's mind. This would prove usefull in fights except that Kagami is very selective on when to share this information, and Kenta is to lazy to fight for it. Kagami is constantly trying to get Kenta to train more and learn more about his opponents so more information can be stored.

The world inside of Kenta is a vast hall of doors. Each door has an image of a person, place, or thing. Each door leads into a room with a mirrors. When Kenta walks up to the mirror it will show him all the information about the image that was on the door. Once an image is seen Kenta will always know it.
As a young soul, Kenta drifted into his inner world without realizing it. He walked through the hall until he saw his own picture. He opened the door and saw his own human death. He kept seeing it over and over everytime he shut his eyes. It took him a long time to get over this. Because of this Kenta is cautious about opening doors.

Kenta is a geniouse who doesn't care. When he puts his mind to it he can think of things most people would never imagine. He can be very charismatic and whitey, but also slothful. Kenta is extremely lazy when it comes to work. He is constantly chastised for sleeping instead of doing his job. He admits to love being considered an egotist, and will never admit defeat even when fighting someone by far stronger than him. However, Kenta is very withdrawn about fighting women no matter how strong they are.
Kenta is very perceptive. He can find a needle in a hay stack with little trouble. He can pick up on the smallest details of people and their actions, as well as their Reiatsu. Because of this, it is very hard to hide from Kenta. And if he can't figure it out, his Kagmi.
Kenta is very protective of those his cares for and merciful on those he doesn't, doubly so for women. With that said, Kenta is no fool. He will not hesitate to kill a hollow, or anyone he sees as a threat to his friends.

At a young age Kenta started to explore the different districts of the Soul Society. He never stayed in one place to long because he desired to see more of the world. This desire got him into trouble a number of times. The main issue he faced where the Soul Reapers who would constantly push him down and laugh or ignore him completely. Once he even was beaten by a Soul Reaper who accused Kenta of being a thief. He simply shrugged it off and went on his way.

One day, he found a cart of bedding to sleep on and dozed off. When he awoke, he was inside the 13 court guard squads academy. The man who found him was the same who had accused him of stealing. It was at this point that the man reached for his sword and swung it down on Kenta. To Kenta's surprise a man in a white tabi held his assailants arm at the wrist. He then twisted the other mans arm behind his back and told him that he would break it off if he ever saw anything like that again. It was at that moment that Kenta wanted to become a Soul Reaper.

After joining the academy, Kenta quickly became a favorite among the students for his charm and whit, and among the teachers for his skills with a Zanpaktou. He was boasted as being one of the most promising young students you will ever see, and there was talk of seating him strait out of the academy in only his fourth year. However an event happened that changed Kenta drastically. While sleeping in his quarters Kenta drifted off into his own inner world. Once there he noticed an endless number off doors. The first few he checked where locked. Then he found an unlocked door, one with his picture, and went inside. What he saw in this room was his own mortal death. He saw it over and over until he woke up screaming.

The image was burned into his mind. He couldn't close his eyes without seeing the blood stained scene. He didn't return to class until a few days had passed and a number of students started asking about him. Kenta was changed, he was freaked out by everything with battle. He refused to spare and would run away if challenged. It took him two months to become stable enough to return to his normal routine. Even then, he wasn't the same. By the time he became a sixth year he started to get out of his slump and get back to real training.

It seemed that the damage was done, but something happened to get him back in the spot light. He heard his Zanpaktou speak to him. Kenta was in an empty room when it happened. He asked aloud who it was that spoke. The voice stated its name and asked Kenta to call for him. At this point Kenta noticed the guard on his Zanpaktou has turned into a mirror. It was then that he first released Kagami.

Because of this release Kenta asked to join the 11th division of the 13 court guard squads. He was seated 12th. Kenta was happy again and fell into his old habits of napping in the middle of the day or walking off randomly because he was bored. After learning the true power of Kagami, Kenta was able to rise to the rank of 8th seat. He was bummed because he believed he should have been higher. Which he was told would be doable if he would just get off his ass and do his job without falling asleep or walking away for no reason.
