Crazy but some kind of possible theories [V2]

As for the ninjas, the fact that much of this man's life is a complete mystery has lead to a great deal of somewhat-plausible circumstantial evidence that he spent twelve years as a shinobi, going on crazy secret, off-the-books undercover operations for the Tokugawa Shogunate.

So now that same guy is in Bleach as shinigami called Kenpachi? Sounds good to me.

But this wouldnt be the first time Kubo did this... Kubo did the same thing with Muramasa. And Urahara (AND IM DAMN PROUD OF IT THAT KUBO USED MY COUNTRYS CARTOON CHARACTER!!!!)

I dont know if this theorie has been said before(as a whole) but i'll say what I think of ichigo's dad.

I believe he was in the Royal Guard Division before.The reason why he hates himself for not being there for Masaki(his wife) was because he was busy outhere with the Royal Guard. Then,he figured out he cannot lose anymore members of his family because of his ''job'' as a shinigami of the RG so he just made a deal with the Royal Guard,which is losing his power until ichigo gains his. That's why he denied his shinigami power, until the day Ichigo become a shinigami.

That's just my crack theorie about Ishin

But that doesnt explain how he knows Aizen. (I doubt Urahara told him)

My theory still stands that Aizen "killed" Isshin and Isshin had to go to human world... And this happened 20 years ago!

That would made the things more complicated. And I agree with all those who told that Isshin was a RG and Aizen was rensponsible for Masaki's death. Your theorie makes me think of what happen when Ichigo is sad. The day Masaki died was a very rainy day. Zangetsu said a few times that when Ichigo is sad, his inner-self is rainning. Could that be related to his mom perhaps?

Since we are discussing theories here, I'll share one of mine that I thinks makes a lot of sense once you think about it. Taking some of the Tanabata references, and how the soul society acts (specifically some of the older guard of the Gotei 13), plus what we have observed in the manga so far, I would go so far as to say the following:

Orihime is a daughter of the Soul King, who, for one reason or another was sent to earth to avoid detection. Isshin (don't know if Masaki was in on this or not) volunteered to leave the SS and protect Orihime. When Isshin gave up his soul reaper powers after Masaki died, the Soul King became very nervous and indirectly arranged for a soul reaper to come to the land of the living and awaken his son Ichigo's soul reaper powers when he started seeing and conversing with ghosts. What made the Soul King nervous enough to do such an act was Grand Fisher's & Barragan's probing around in the land of the living , which really was not even really related to finding Orihime, but rather...finding out what Kisuke Urahara & Tessai were doing in the land of the living, and why they had 8 hollowified soul reapers with them (which they viewed as just hollows). Ichigo & Rukia were intended to be soul reaper "bodyguards" for Orihime in the land of the living, IMO, until Orihime discovered her own powers. Then she would be returned to the royal family. Aizen was only interested in Urahara's experiments to begin with, until he discovered Orihime's powers, and began doing some thorough research on them. I'm thinking once Aizen finally dies, Orihime will be sent to live with the royal family again, and Ichigo & the vaizards will be condemned as lawless freaks who do not deserve to live. Chad will be sentenced to hell because the SS fears what will happen if he is "banished" to Hueco Mundo. Ichigo will rescue Chad and the vaizards with Rukia's help, and begins fighting the Royal Guard...

This is the one and only time I'm going to bring this back up again. For some reason, this post, which I thought was pretty good, got buried under a ton of posts about some theory related to Kenpachi Zaraki. Any thoughts on the theory quoted above guys?

I agree with you, at least up to a point.

Aizen's claim suggest that the Soul King's throne IS empty. Which actually brings up some interesting possibilities in and of itself. Is it possible that the Royal Guard are trying to keep this a secret from the other Shinigami while trying to locate the missing king or a potential replacement? Or is it more sinister? Maybe the Royal Guard DEPOSED the Soul King and are using his absence to secretly manipulate Soul Society from behind the scenes...

Or maybe there never even WAS a Soul King in the first place. Maybe it is more of a myth to inspire Shinigami and keep them in line.

Who knows.

But the possibility that Orihime is connected with the Soul King is an intriguing one.

I just don't think that Ichigo or Chad draw their power from her. Perhaps they were sent to protect or influence her, but both seem to have explanations that don't require Orihime. Ichigo has some connection to the Soul Society through his father, and Chad... well he seems to be a Hollow actually. Note the Spanish names for his powers, and his dramatic growth while in Hueco Mundo. He even speculates as much himself in fact.
