Quite impressed by this episode actually. Murumasa's power-up was pretty intense. I guess this was the safest option to avoid showing Katen and Sogyo's powers in a realistic manner; have Ryuujin kill them since Murumasa doens't need them anymore...Yoruichi was pretty cool here as well. Lovely stuff!

So the barrier wasn't made to keep Yamamoto in, but rather to keep Muramasa out? So who put up the barrier? Muramasa wasn't trying to help the zanpakutos? Just get power for himself?

What a shame to let Katen and Sogyo die this way. Sure, Jakka has the most powerful offensive power but Katen and Sogyo togehter should be strong enough to have a chance. That´s why I hate fillers, tons of illogical stuff. I guess, Enth has a good point here^^

At the end Yama-jii talks something about a 10th-what-ever. I see it coming. The annoying Toushiro will get his fight against Jakka. Wouldn´t make any sense to let him stand a chance longer than a few seconds. Although he has most likely the perfect Zanpaktou to fight Jakka, their power should be worlds apart!

Otherwise a technical awesome episode. They really wasted the nice little Katen-girl. Shunsui´s and Ukitake´s fights where lame but maybe the dialogue makes up for it.

Now... the episode... very hilarious to see Muramasa's facial expressions. When reading this thread, I thought "Oh no, it won't be THAT bad" and when it came to it... freaking scary heart attack. Who knew someone that fangirl-able could pull such bizarre expressions?!

Rather disappointed that Katen Kyoukatsu and Sougyo no Kotowari got offed so quickly and easily - though it was fun to see them throughout the episode in their element. It was so cute seeing Ukitake chasing the boys <3.

Can't wait for the subs, so I can actually figure out what the hey is actually going on XD. I've got the jist, but, well... I don't exactly speak japanese...

This arc sucks. I'd rather watch the unnessecary long Endless eight arc of Haruhi.

Amazing episode again, I really love this arc, every week I'm waiting with excitement and when the "To be continued" rolled, I went FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

This episode was something, Ryujin jakka burning SnK wasn't a sight I wanted to see.
I was waiting for Ukitake and Shunsui's zans to get serious and show us some good stuff here and there, but nice cover up with the kids show and the playful interaction
