That little girl was raped and murdered. Her mother sold her knowing this could happen. She is just as guilty as those who did it

No child is safe from that from that woman. If she needs a fix, who says she won't sell your child. She's already sold her own---

Drug's aren't the same. It's a personal choice---humans that are sold as sex slaves have no choice--and a lot of them end up dead

If they don't feel any remorse for their doings, then yes. They should be put in jail for a longer time than few years. Few weeks ago there was a loud case of human trafficker in my country, who almost killed 4 people. He was already sentenced for killing human in similar way. He was about to be put in jail again for 12 years, but he punished himself by commiting suicide.

Government in my country spends more money on jailed than homeless, so some homeless people commit minor crimes to get a cozy prison cell. It's waste of money to keep murderers alive.

and true, it may seem that those type of people should be killed, but seriously, death is too lesser a punishment

have you actually been to a prison and seen the conditions there? (i have, for a school trip), and all the while, you here news that you are hated, you are the lowest of the low, and you have to survive that?

can you survive being insulted and being branded as a bad man for your life? it's much more nicer to kill them, which is essentially painful, and a better punishment.

Actually there is honor, even among thieves. They are killed by other prisoners for the same things

I know people that been to prison--served years. Few of them changed. People like that aren't regular criminals. They are MONSTERS....that should be put to death

What good are they serving the world in jail? That's not punishment enough. They should suffer the same indignities their victims suffered and then die...just like those victims.

My only joy is if that mother does Jail time. More than likely. Another prison will exact vengeance for that little girl. Which will be her death sentence. I just think the law should be changed and people who pedal flesh should face the death penalty. Because so many innocents lost their lives that way...

i really don't believe any should be killed, not even the most ruthless criminal on earth.

i don't believe that we should take lives because the criminal has committed an act of barbaric thoughts, because if we do send them "to the chair" then we are doing what they are doing, just in a more orderly fashion.

just send her to Antarctica or some place away from people. I don't think she meant for anyone to die, and wouldn't kill them intentionally, but this also doesn't mean this won't happen again and again.

My question is people who specifically pedal flesh to pervs--who aid in the depravity committed and most time that ends in the death of the victims. Should THEY be put to death. If I sell my kid and that kid is murdered? Shouldn't I be charged as well...with something more than prostitution

i don't believe in killing them directly, but in harsh conditions, that's good (i should have stated that clearly in the beginning)

i guess my opinion is biased though, since UK doesn't have death penalties so I feel strongly against it. (at least I think it doesn’t). To be honest, if we just made life REALLY HARD for them, then it would be okay for some people's view(such as mine)

To be perfectly frank, I'm more one of those "eye-for-an-eye" type of people when it comes to brutality like this.

Prison isn't exactly the worst place on Earth these days, and when a life-sentence doesn't always mean a life sentence, I find it difficult to put complete faith in the U.S. justice system.

I don't see it as an issue of humanity or an easy solution - I see it as some people are simply dangerous and when innocent people get hurt at their hands, it's not our responsibility to save them at the expense of more possible crime.

Plus in the U.S. I consider the death penalty as a means of mercy. The death is no where near as horrific as what some of these people have done to their victims. If we can stop more children from having these kinds of atrocities done to them by killing traffickers and sex offenders, I personally don't have a problem with it.
