Bleached Egos

I was just thinking about Ichigo and his unwanted hollow transformations. I thought to myself would Ichigo knowingly take off his mask even if it meant dooming everyone so he could fight the battle even against the likes of Aizen. I think he would. That being said I would like to see who you all think has the biggest fighting ego of them all.


Note: I was thinking about putting a poll on this, but I found out there are just too many egos with the Shinigami and Hollows.

i think ichigo has the biggest ego! i mean something always has to happen that brings him down but he builds it back up! something i think aizen is incapable i think hes more of id rather die before i let you beat me!! , a poll would be a good idea! you could always switch the characters in the poll? idk im kinda new Haha xD

For me it's a tie between Ichigo, Ikkaku & Grimmjow.

Ichigo has the ego of never letting his hollow side take over if he can prevent it. Even if it means accepting defeat or maybe getting killed.

Ikkaku has the ego of never showing his bankai even though in the FKT-arc he was defeated because he didn't use it and put everyone in danger and his pillar got broken.

Grimmjow would rather die than accepting defeat or getting help and he often acts as i he's the strongest and underestimates his opponents.

What about Yumichika? He won't use Ruriiro Kujaku even though he's going to be killed... I mean, if the other shinigami from 11th division mock him because his zanpakuto's kido-based, he could just TENTACLERAPE 'em all using it o:

Kenpachi...not so really. I don't think he has that much of an ego compared to many other characters out there.

But in general, both the Shinigami and Hollows as a whole seem to have an overinflated sense of self. Time and time again both groups believe that they are more superior than the others, humans, and members of there own group.

Here is my top 10 egocentric list:

10. Ishada- How superior are the Quincy again?
9. Charlotte Cool Horn- the fugliest arrancar ever and still thought himself beautiful
8. Yammy- everything is trash to him, even after receiving a beat down, after beat down, after beat down
7. Byakuya- his ego actually starts getting on my nerves
6. Mayuri- he apparently likes to treat other like trash
5. Szayle- "perfect?"
4. Grimmjaw- i can't understand the concept of wanting to die rather than losing
3. Barragon- apparently he is the god of heuco mundo and his power is unbeatable, until he got beat by it.
2. Noitra- I am the strongest (5) and I can't stand having a girl above me
1. Ichigo- no matter how many times a single person can lose, he still has the largest ego. He thinks he can do everything by himself and save everyone, but he couldn't even beat the 4th espada.

Byakuya hands down. Dude is cocky even at other captains.

I'm surprised - no one has mentioned Aizen "Captain God-Complex" Sosuke.

Dude's ego is big enough to have its own ZIP code. He is what I would describe as being 'pathologically self-confident.' One main difference between him and most of the other cocky characters, though, is that his confidence in himself has yet to be shown to be misplaced (though it will be eventually). Another thing is that he doesn't exhibit the alpha-male mentality either - he doesn't go around barking "I'm the strongest and everyone and their grandma better know it blah blah blah! " He simply destroys people while coolly smirking at them - sort of like a smiling version of Byakuya.

one word AIZEN i mean he has the whole "im god bow down to me or else" thing and his ego is bigger than the grand ise shrine.
