Well, I seriously doubt Unohana is working with Aizen. I think, if any treachery is being hinted at here, it will come from Soul Society. Be another example of how SS isn't all its cracked up to be, specifically Yamamoto.
During all the injustices we have seen in the series so far when it comes to soul society and how they treat others; whether it be those in the Rukongai, their own shinigami (aka, the conditions for getting sent to the Maggot's Nest), and evne situations from the anime and movies, like Kusaka and the Bount. During all of them, Yamamoto has been in charge. He's been in charge several millennia. I understand the pragmatism that drives a lot of his decisions, like forbidding the rescue of Orihime, but he's still part of the problem, IMO. I consider the fact that Mayuri is even still roaming free, much less as a
captain, to be another injustice that SS is guilty of. (wow, I'm starting to sound like Tousen.

) And Yamamoto has direct control over that, too.
I almost
expect him to throw Ichigo to the wolves at some point b/c it will somehow benefit the "greater good".
If for no other reason, this would happen so Kubo can drive home the narrative point he been building toward since Rukia's execution: that SS has some serious issues and is in need of reform. They're not living up to the standard they should be and this is the result: their betrayal of their greatest ally in the name of pragmatism.
