If what Unohana said was accurate, then it means Aizen will easily win this war if all he has to do is show Ichigo his shikai.
Ichigo's confidence wouldn't help either.

As usual Yammy looks like he's loosing, while fighting only Kenpachi, but not for long though, I think Yammy will come up with something new and bring back byakuya to the fight also maybe include mayuri before switching fully to FKT. Yammy's opponents always look like they are winning in the beginning, unless you fight him backstage

That got to be the most retarded way to defeat Aizen.... I mean what the hell? Ichigo was there when Aizen used Kyouga against Komomura and he saw his shikai, fuck sakes, I think Kubo just forget his own plot.

I wouldnt think Mayuri cause all he wants to do is cut up the arrancar its Byakuya i think might be or turn out to be a bad guy how more evil can one person really get? Doubting one person probally cause hes stronger than him eh?

Kurosaki still got owned with one finger, even though Aizen still never used his Shikai during the good old times during End of Hypnosis Arc, however he did already use it against Harribel and saw his own face. Kyoka Suigetsu covers all sense, you wouldn't need to witness it, when you are already part of its illusion (ie: talking to you on computer as if is a mirror, talking to myself).

Did you not read what I wrote? You have to see it released plus audibly hear the release invocation. Everyone else who are powerful have seen Aizen's release, it's the only way to ensure he has the upper hand in case they become someone he needs to dispose of. What on earth are you going on about talking to a mirror?

You guys aren't understanding Byakuya's character, his pride will not let him show weakness by saying that he needs Ichigo's help, previously not a shinigami, a ryoka and a human at that. These guys don't want to admit it, but Ichigo is their only playing card left.

Turn to be a bad guy? He slowly experimented Uryu's grandfather to death, then joked about his screams for his grandson to said grandson during battle. I think he's already as bad as he can get, he just (for some reason) happens to be apart of a group of good guys.

Without going to deeply into my crack theories, I believe the King is the only one who can defeat Aizen. And damn is that going to be a laugh riot.

I kinda find this hard to believe. I mean, what's the point of him doing that? Isn't there in SS who would be suspicious and decide not to look? They should've known what his powers are, right? Or at the least, think wtf would he want to do this.

He still did it. And its clear as day that they all looked and got hypnotized. Also, looking back to TBtP, all of Soul Society was under Aizen's hypnosis, because they all saw Aizen walking with Shinji, and not a nondescript bald guy.

Therefore, at some point or another, Aizen has succeeded in hypnotizing over 3000 people, and maintained constant sessions in order to control the newcomers from the Academy as well.

And they all thought his zanpakto was water based anyway.

...Everyone on earth has seen Aizen's shikai except for Ichigo? Riiight. I'm gonna go along with the people hoping for Isshin to show up eventually because so far we don't know when he was actually present in SS. He could have been gone way before Aizen even showed up in Soul Society, especially since even Shinji couldn't identify him. If that had been the case then he'd also be another prime character to fight Aizen.

At first I thought that maybe Ichigo was purposely being used as a distraction by SS and Unohana, but after reading the complete chapter, that doesn't appear to be the case. All signs point to Ichigo being their guiding light of hope in this mess, which frankly sucks. Usually I'm accepting of Kubo's slow or implausible storylines, but this is just getting out of hand.

Edit: oops, I misread the chapter. It was 'everyone on earth who could fight Aizen has seen his shikai.' my bad. But it's still possible the Isshin and maybe even Big-daddy Quincy (I can't quite remember his name XD) haven't seen it and can still fight.

I mean, Soul-Slayer, seriously; Byakuya becoming a villain? Are you high? He's not even remotely evil. He's cold in demeanor and a bit of a jerk sometimes, but that's it. And that "doubting" of Ichigo b/c he considers Ichigo weaker is hardly evil. Plus, I don't think he actually does think Ichigo is weaker. You have to read btwn the lines with Byakuya b/c there is usually more to what he says then the words themselves. His actions and words actually contradict quite a lot.

Now, Mayuri on the other hand, is villain material. Its all like ColdCobra said:

Mayuri is cruel and takes pleasure in being so. If the story of Bleach concludes with Mayuri still of the same mindset and somehow still in Soul Society's ranks, I will be surprised. Either he is gonna have a softening of character/change of heart or he'll come out of the evil closet and go rouge on them all.

Not the most impressive chapter this week, Im finding this coming showdown between Sosuke Aizen and Kurosaki Ichigo very hard to digest, I cant help but feel that Kubo is hastening this confrentation between these two at a cost of 'good solid story/character development.'

It gives the impression that the series is coming towards it's inevitable End

The chapter for me this week, wasnt so much a presentation of Hueco Muendo Casts current activities, but rather a chapter with the purpose of setting the scene of future activities/actions planning to be undertaken in the Hueco Muendo/Fake Karakura Town Arc narratives.

Character development was minor, with Ichigo returning from his disturb, ignorant and slightly humble emotions, to his headstrong, rash and determined disposition.

Which I find absolutely ridiculous and infruating, because it takes away the feelings/semi-development Ichigo expressed in the chapters 'Eyes of the Victor' and 'No True Answer', it makes me feel those sentiments Ichigo expressed meant nothing and wont have any repercussions and consequences for him.

In fact, Im rather Fearful that in his coming match with Sosuke Aizen, Kurosaki Ichigo is gonna find himself able to use his Hollow Powers again.

The sentiments expressed by Kurotsuchi Mayuri, Retsu Unohana and Byakuya Kuchiki, with their prideful withdrawn demonstrations (Unohana is not guilty of this) of belief in Kurosaki Ichigo, implied development in their characters because their paradoxical actions (again not really true of Unohana) to place their 'trust' in Ichigo to Win.

To me it implies the slow developing change in the role between Humans and Shinigami, with Shinigami casting off their stigma of egoism and total self-dependency, as the only force able or that should strive to maintain the 'balance' of the Worlds from any threats. (Which we saw with Ukitake in the Soul Society Arc, when he gave Ichigo the Representatives Badge)

They are beginning to recognise Humans like Kurosaki Ichigo as Allies equal to them in strength, and not just Tools of War as Yamamoto-Ganryusai implied when he forbid Kurosaki Ichigo to rescue Inoue Orihime in Hueco Muendo, on the grounds of refusing to let his strength be wasted by dying like a Dog.

It might sound like Im stating an obvious, but the actions of Mayuri and Byakuya to stay in Hueco Muendo, very much corroborates Unohana's belief in Ichigo being the only one able to stand up to Aizen.

Despite this...I still feel the chapter was unimpressive

Ichigo was the source of further disappointment for me this week, because of his informed interaction with Kurosutchi Mauri about his past, I might be wrong but I swear to God thats a plothole isnt it?

How would Ichigo know that? He doesnt even know that Urahara Kisuke was a the former Head of the Technological Buera of Investigation and Reserach, so how can Ichigo just deduce that Mayuri was Urahara's former Lietunant from that role based on a (slightly well placed) recognition of the similarity those two share in their obessession/passion for research?

Was Ichigo watching the TBTP Arc too?

That again to me just proves that Kubo is making hasty development in the story, which is why he is making such a significant plothole, but please correct me if Im mistaken in this regard.

As for Ichigo's pivtol advantage against Aizen, I feel that it makes sense in theory, already in this Thread I could see people debating whether Ichigo has actually already seen Kyouka Suigetsu's release in the Soul Society Arc.

Ichigo did witness Aizen's use of his Shikai against Komamura, which arguably does imply that Ichigo has seen the release, otherwise why didnt Ichigo shout for Komamura to look in front of him if Ichigo could see the Real Aizen?

Ambigous and forever to be argued I feel *Sigh*

I honestly feel that the series is coming to a sink or swim junction in the events, actions and outcomes, for this hasty showdown between Aizen and Ichigo (*sigh*), and if Fans dont find it satisfying after 3 plus years of wait..I can only feel worried for BLEACH's future.
