LOL I laughed at Ichigo being pissed off at Yammy speaking ill of his opponents.

I was hoping Yammy would have some cool new powers in dinosaur form, but I guess not. Hopefully, he will pull them out on Ichigo's friends.

Ichigo identifying with and feeling compassion for Grimmjow and Ulquiorra is no surprise. Nnoitra? He wasn't privy to the tender flashback we were but I guess Ichigo's just a nice guy and respects everyone he fights. Nnoitra really humiliated Ichigo and Kenpachi had to rescue him from that fight, so I didn't feel like there was a connection made there, but yeah, Ichigo's identification with the Arrancar is real--from Nel and the Desert Bros to now Ulquiorra.

Ichigo is pissed off that Yammy would say such things about people who are supposedly his nakama, because Ichigo himself will NEVER treat his own nakama the same way.

On the other hand, Ichigo DOES NOT UNDERSTAND why Yammy is trash-talking Ulquiorra, who's supposed to be a nakama, yet Orihime, who was their prisoner, is the one mourning Ulquiorra.

And what Ichigo said about not regretting killing Espadas, note how he says this to provoke Yammy, he's deliberately being arrogant. Does it mean he REALLY doesn't care? We don't know at this moment. But he does show distaste towards Yammy's treatment of the other fallen Espada. It's not whether Ichigo feels compassion for the espada or not, the topic here is: Yammy's actions clash with Ichigo's ideals about Nakama.

At least, that was what the whole thing meant to me. :>

It could go either way really. Ichigo is arrogant and likes to provoke, but anything to do with the "nakama" brings out his soft side, even if its not his nakama. Guess we'll have to see the images where this dialogue takes place to better understand which situation fits best.

Well after reading through the script, I've gotta say, I think in the long run this chapter will be looked back at as a transitional moment. Not for the fighting but for whats going on with Ichigo. His mask isn't working and hes got a kinship with those hes beat. Perhaps hes realized that they have more in common with them then their own "commrads." I smell Hichigo coming soon...
