I have to disagree gig. All Ichi practically did was to stop a cero from erupting from Yammy's mouth. Unless that was an actual cero oscuras, I wouldn't call it a major feat. Not to mention there is a major difference between stopping an unreleased and released cero (or any projectile for that matter). The only note-worthy thing he did is topple Yammy with a Getsuga. But IMO that doesn't count until we see actual damage, and apparently it was nothing.

He also blocked one of his gargantuan dinosaur punches without the mask or anything. I figured ALL of his stats in every form had increased to make him more of a challenge to Yammi...but I guess not.

But yeah, Viewerv may have a point. Given the Q fight and regenerating that huge ass hole in his chest--and all the other damage--even Ichi may be scraping the bottom of the barrel in reiatsu.

I love how Yammy calls Grimm, Nnoitra and Ulquiorra "small fry". Ha. But again, Yammy loves to talk big. Even so, I wonder if Kenpachi and Byakuya will be enough to defeat him. Kenpachi + Byakuya team up? This is gonna be hilarious.

No Unohana makes me sad, though.

Well Yammi isnt down yet... And he calls others small frys? I think Yammi is about to gain respect from the readers. Well I kinda did predict that Byakuya would come and had a feeling that Kenpachi would come after Byakuys is defeated... But both came to fight Yammi!

We might see Nel soon... And Grimmjow hopefully.

There is a lot of contradictions. Ichi managed to block his punch maskless, but he gets his ass beaten. The only logical explanation is that Yammi's holding back.

Oh it's going to be great.. but if Kenny and Byakuya actually take down Yammy alone.. it's going to be even more confusing power terms because I can't see how if you struggle with the 5th and 7th Espada that were perfectly designed to be countered by you.. how you can possibly stop a giant beast such as Yammy. I say the both fail.. and fail hard.

I think Yammy mentioning Grimmjow will help the idea of Grimmjow returning for this battle in some way. He can't help that much though.. as he is no where near the strength to even hurt Yammy if Ichigo failed. If Grimmy is to make an impact in this series he needs to gain strength somehow.. perhapsthrough devouring a corpse (Nnoitra or maybe Yammy..) or a 2nd release.

He'll be like, ooo that hurts this wind thingy hurts *rolls eyes*
Possibly ken might be doing little damage to yammy with his kendo but other than that, they will still lose

Ichigo is simply not ready to use his new mask. He'll have to train again with the Vizard I think. Nice to see Kenny and Bya-kun to the rescue, but if what Yammy says is true then it won't be easy to defeat him.

I thought he dodged it, not blocked it.

And I'm happy Ichigo doesn't have even close to the power that defeated Ulq when using his 'upgraded' mask. It would have been pretty lame if all of a sudden he could defeat the top Espada when before he couldn't even scratch the fourth.
