Shunpo or Sonido?

Damn, I might have messed up the spelling in the title.

I also apologize if this thread was already made but I did search.
Also, this is in this section because maybe the Lust chapters might come to this discussion which might not be made to anime yet.


So, what do you think about shunpo and sonido? Similarities are obvious but is there any hidden ones? What about differences? Which is better, efficent or quicker? Which do you prefer?

I think both depends on the user but I feel sonido is an instinct (I think Ulquiorra or some commented on this) while Shunpo is something that has to be learned (or need to be refined).

I also feel if a hybrid can do both, hybrid would be much more efficent and faster in sonido than shunpo.

Besides, is sonido an arrancar ability or is it hollow one?

shunpo or sonido eh ? , the difference first , at the anime i can see the difference by the sound effects , when it's shunpo it's like " wushu ~ ! " it's there , and when it's sonido it's sounded like something cracked ( i don't know if you get what i meant ) . At manga i can't distinguished if it's sonido or shunpo asides from whose doing it .
And i think it's only an arrancar ability , because i don't remember any hollow who use a sonido , or maybe i just forgot one , but as far as i can tell only arrancars doing it .

Sonido is the result of Hollow being Shinigamified. It's basically Shunpo but the difference in sound comes from the user being essentially a Hollow. Not sure about any speed difference but Ulquiorra's statement about Ichigo hinted that Sonido might indeed be faster.

Shunpo has a different sound. Sonido has a sonic boom.

Well, just different names for the same thing, although Ulqiorra did say "that's not Shunpo, that's sonido!" when Ichigo was doing his horny thing.

I assume the difference is in the base... after all, Hollows have high speed movement too, and Sonido is developed from it.

You mean Shunpo and Sonido fusion? Or that someone can use both? *Looks at Aizen-sama doing shunpo and sonido*

Sonido, Shunpo even the Quincy technique Hirenkyaku, are just Quick Feet techniques.

None of these techniques has an advantage over that of the other, as Im confident and pretty sure that the effectiveness and efficiency of these Quick Feet techniques, depends entirely on the proficiency of the user in using said Quick Feet technique.

Also with regards to Sonido and Shunpo, Sonido is simple the Arrancar equivalent of Shunpo, it is simple an Arrancars way of imitating a Shinigami.

Arrancar use of Sonido seems greater because they are hybrids, but we have also seen the same effect with the Vizards, by doning their Hollow Masks (effectively becoming Hybrids like the Arrancars) their proficiency with Shunpo becomes better resulting in them being faster.

Are you honestly gonna say that Ulquiorra is faster than Yamamoto-Ganryusai just because he uses Sonido?

That honestly doesnt make sense...

Again these are just Quick Feet techniques, the way in which these techniques are executed may be different (Zommari Leroux makes you question that, because he claimed that by adding extra steps in his Sonido, he could create his tangible clone like effect; this implies a different way in executing this Quick Feet technique), but that doesnt mean that one is better than the other.

Doesn't Ichigo use Sonido in Hollow Knight Forme? If so I don't understand why? Probaly because he was more hollow at the time? But I thought it was an Arrancar tech? Not a hollow one?
