BLEACH 380 Troll The Line, Plot Isn't Always On Time
Yammy continues to reel a bit at the loss of his leg so easily to the new combatants, but soon regains his composure.
YAMMY
Che, my leg! Hmph. So what?! Plenty more where that came from! I'll still crush you!
Yammy levels a punch at Byakuya and Zaraki, but they Shunpo away. Yammy wheels on Byakuya and begins charging another Cero in his mouth. Byakuya scoffs at the Espada's naivety, Shunpoing away again, but then Yammy chuckles; the Cero dissipates in his mouth, and instead fires out from one of the cylinders on his shoulder, right at Byakuya!
Taken aback, Byakuya draws Senbonzakura and uses it strugglingly to brunt the blast. Zaraki hurtles forth to attack in the interim, but Yammy Sonidos out of the way, much to the surprise of both captains: despite his great size, Yammy is faster than they thought. Yammy laughs, warning them not to underestimate him. Byakuya scoffs.
BYAKUYA
How uncouth... I
really didn't want to use any more techniques I was taught by *
that woman*, but...
here goes! Onmitsukidou special technique:
Plotkai Pwn-All!
A giant mirror (but
not an
ice mirror, I swear!) appears in Byakuya's hands. Though impressive of scope, a single punch from Yammy shatters it, and the Espada laughs.
YAMMY
Ha! What was that?
BYAKUYA
The joke's on you, Espada. Now you have seven years bad luck.
And it's a thousand years too early for your fists to reach me. So you're already set back, like, one thousand and seven years. Tough break.
Yammy's left arm just falls off.
YAMMY
Ge--!
Ku... kuso! That really
is some bad luck! But, but I can still win!
Zaraki cuts in.
ZARAKI
Dig this, since fighting Ichigo, I've learned my Zanpakutou's name while you weren't looking lol. Trip the f*** out...

Mechakucha ni ki ga chigae, Shijitora)!
Zaraki's Shikai takes on its true form: instead of a weathered asauchi, it becomes a mean-looking thing serrated on both sides. But Zaraki isn't done. He knows the Cero Espada is tough, so he goes all out. He removes his eye-patch... but then he also removes his
eyes! In each of their empty sockets is another set of teeth, not unlike the Corinthian from
Sandman.
ZARAKI
Heh! Now my smiling power is trebled! There's no way you can defeat me, for I'm the character who, if he smiles or laughs, will always win! And don't think just because I can't see right now that you have the advantage! Tousen tried to pull that on me, and I still owned him!
Zaraki grasps his Zanpakutou with
both hands, and then another pair of hands!
ZARAKI
Lol that wasn't supposed to happen! Oh, well, the more the merrier!
Zaraki leaps at Yammy, using Kendou to slice off the Espada's other arm. As he makes his pass, one of his extra arms pokes Yammy in the eyes
Three Stooges-style.
The chapter ends with the tagline: "
A Stupefying 'F-U' To The Fans!"

Commentary
There've always been plot holes, but lately they've started to become plot
Hollows, and seem, alas, well on their way to becoming Vasto
Loade. As I posted elsewhere, it's prob. because instead of protags. vs. protags. like in the Soul Society arc, we now have protags. versus antags. (*note: early Hollows weren't so much antags. as cannon fodder)
But once again, I shall reserve final judgment until the future, and the resolution of the current trends. I still enjoy
BLEACH in their despite, and I want to see what happens next...
