Vote for Funimations to pick up Kuroshitsuji

No chance- if Funimation thought it appropriate to censor out guns in Yu Gi Oh, there's no way they'd pick up something like Kuroshitsuji, which is full of pentacles and demon-summoning and horrendous deaths and rotting people.

I'm desperately hoping that ADV pick it up. Their dubs are always spot on- if anyone's a fan of Peacemaker, they'll know that they always pick perfect voice matches, watch the Japanese version and base it on how that was done, and replicate the script as perfectly as possible. They're incredibly true to how the Japanese version was done, and plus the quality of their dubbing is so much better than in terms of what Funimation produce.

I'd personally rather see the ADV cast (Peacemaker Kurogane, RahXephon, NGE, Voices of a Distant Star) do it.

If they allow English voice actors to posh it out and make it crack i'll go with it but gah i don't want American voice actors to butcher it.

Funimation didnt do Yu-Gi-Oh, 4kids did YGO and Funi had joint rights to release the uncut dvd's, which had the same dub.

And Funi got the rights to claymore, which has giant monsters being cut to shreads, blood flying everywhere, nakedness, cursing, the whole 9 yards .


Also, Funi and ADV have like, the exact same voice cast for the most part, most of the VA's go between both studios. And Funi actually has some great actual work to their credit.

Some of the best VA's do large numbers of titles for both (ill spam names if we want )

I'd totally love Funi to get Kuro, it would be a shitload better than Geneon or VIZ getting the rights and actually buthering it.

Rain: That's one of my problems with Funi actually, they use the same people over and over and over as do the other companies. It get's annoying when 500 characters have the same voice. I just don't want to hear them with American accents >.>

I also wouldn't mind if Funimation dubbed Kuroshitsuji. :] If ever comes a time when the series needed to be dubbed, I'd let Funimation do it. Most of their works are decent. I'd die if VIZ did it,though (look what the did to Bleach) .
