*I'd suggest just totally not reading the FC of the pairing you don't like but I know that is never gonna happen. You all wanna be able to talk about other pairings so much well fine but just be prepared for others to do it about your favourite pairing also. These rules were changed as per YOUR wishes so don't come complaining to me when you decide you don't like the change.

*Please post these rules in the first post of your pairing FC.

About the pairing:

Nel is considered a good balance to Grimmjow because of the fact that their personalities are polar opposites. While Grimmjow can be rampant and impulsive, Nel is calm and reasonable. Added to this is her ability to handle his aggressiveness, a trait that would allow her to deal with his excessively violent personality.
Grimmjow is also considered a domineering rogue (though to be fair, is not completely without principle) and is quite vocal in his want to be king, thus making him not overly fond of serving others. Nel on the other hand is a soldier who follows and is loyal to her leader, though her loyalties are influenced by whether or not she feels the leader brings danger to herself or to those she cares about. In addition, Nel would be able to submit to Grimmjow by not challenging his authority as well as keeping him in line without seeming insolent. Nel’s nature and moral standards presents her as a passive character, however, despite this, she is willing to fight in battles she believes are worth fighting for.
Besides, we know that Grimmjow needs a kick ass girl, one who is strong both physically and mentally; the first, so he can relate to her as a fighter (and in this case as an Arrancar, since both of them went through the same troublesome ‘evolution’), and the second, so she can easily handle his mood swings without feeling offended by his often harsh remarks.

As for the facts:

Both Grimmjow and Nel believe in fair fighting and are rather proud in their own ways. They are also quite stubborn in regards to not backing down, prompting declarations of being sore losers by a certain spoonish looking Espada who also happened to attack and almost kill them both.
What’s also interesting to note is that Szayel Apporo Grantz, the Espada who had helped to dethrone Neliel from the number three position, happens to be the brother of one of Grimmjow’s fracción, Il Forte Grantz.
Both of them have a strong bond with Ichigo. However, his bond with Grimmjow, admittedly different from the bond between Nel and Ichigo, is not one that could be considered friendly. Yet despite this, there is still the potential to, if not become friends, have a respect for the other fighter albeit grudgingly.
One could call them outcasts, but as the story progresses, it seems the more applicable term would be ‘survivors’, since Kubo is methodically killing off the Espada ().
And lastly to refer back to the dominant/submissive aspect: Grimmjow is a sadist and Nel is a masochist happens to be the ‘king’ and Nel is the ‘knight’, which is another interesting coincidence(?).

Trivia:

• Share back tattoos
• Both have scars.
• Both have lost everything they had in a span of hours (Nel her rank, her power, her memories, her (adult) body; Grimmjow his fracción, his rank, his power, his arm)
• Grimmjow’s birthmarks are the same shade as Nel’s hair in the anime.
• Both have been watching each other’s fights.
• Nel first appeared in the manga in the chapter when Aizen humiliated Grimmjow in front of everyone, possibly awakening his desire to rebel.
• Nel didn’t know/remember any other Espada’s name and rank except Grimmjow’s. (not so trivia, IMHO)
• There is a South American myth about the jaguar being deceived (by the howler monkey) to save the life of the goat, only to marry her willingly later on.
• They don't seem to share the same blind loyalty some of the other Espada do.
• They are both sexy. (And you know it!)
• Both have been a former Espada.
• Hair matches zanpakotou hilt cloth.

Let's all hope that Nel throws up on Grimmy and heals him. That's true love!
