Bleach 363 "Superchunky from Hell" Spoilers and Discussion

For all we know, since Kubo used the title "the superchunk" in the past(http://media.onemanga.com/mangas/000...0106382/01.jpg) in the chapter with Jidanbou, a gatekeeper. The figure in the Garantua might just be a "gatekeeper" for it to let guard it and let whoever people go through it and won't personally get involved with any of the fights.

Ukitake and Kyoraku each need their own fight with no more of this tagteamery, hence Wonderweiss and...this Superchunky thing.

By the way---best tittle ever or worst title ever? It's definitely one or the other, I just can't decide which.

What if this thing really is from Hell? If Aizen has gone to HM long ago it wouldn't be surprising if he stopped in Hell and was able to bring back a few pur evil souls promising them the power they once had. idk crack alert**

Then once again I will have a sense of deja vu... it will remind me of StS just when the Nordic Arc was ending we have the begining of the Poseidon Arc.

This chapter may bring a glimpse of Kubo's intentions with the espada.
And good to hear we have WW here too.
But the thing that won my heart is the title... Superchunky from Hell asdfghjkl!!!!!

I'm shocked that Kubo actually had a plan for that big thing in the Garganta from all those chapters ago. It gives me hope that we'll actually get some Isshin and Ryuken backstory at some point, if Kubo felt that the Superchunky was important enough to bring back, I just know he'll eventually get to the other mysteries of Bleach.

I mean you see Shinji in the first chapter....mmmm I wonder if his original story for him changed over time?

Kubo re-reads past volumes to try and tie in those loop holes so im guessing that eye thing from the "Hypnosis" arc might actually be explained....bout time if you ask me.

Cthulhu? That would definitely be one hell of a twist, but I highly doubt Kubo is going to go all H.P. Lovecraft on us. Good one, though!

The title "Superchunky from Hell" certainly got a laugh out of me. For some reason two things popped into my head when I saw this: First, Chunk from The Goonies. Second, the opening credits from The Fresh Prince of Bel Air where you can see the word "Thunderchunky" tagged on the wall behind Will Smith at one point. Entirely off topic, I know, but those two things are just what came to mind.

ANYWAY...I think thus far there is no definitive information that we can gather from these spoilers other than possibly an explanation of Ukitake's shikai abiltiy and the fact that WW has showed up. As for the big black mass, I'm prone to think it's the same thing we saw in the garganta back when Aizen and company defected. Also, don't Gillian have mask-like nails on their hands? Wasn't that the first thing we saw as they tore open the garganta?

I can't say for sure until pics are released, but I'm thinking these are the same type of nails explained in the spoilers. What does this all mean? Hell if I know. I've never been too keen on speculation. I'm more the type to spew out random thoughts that pop into my head until I'm given definitive information.

As for Ukitake and Shunsui not giving Stark the respect he deserves, I highly doubt that is the case. Until we actually know what either of their bankai powers are, it's hard to say when the right time to use them is. Remember, those two have more battle experience and training than any other Captain besides Yamamoto and possibly Unohana(we really know nothing about her battle prowess). So I'm thinking Ukitake and Shunsui know better to underestimate or disrespect any opponent of Stark's caliber. There is definitely a reason for Ukitake advising Shunsui to hold of on bankai. But I'll be damned if I know what that reason may be...but I certainly can't wait to find out!

But we now know it can simply follow a theme like how soifons seems to make killing easy ( two hits close range , to a massive ranged blast that seems powerful enough to kill a high ranked espada).

we saw a glimpse of shunsheis bankai , all we know anout his bankai is that he regards it as stronger hitsuguya. It could the type to effect a large area and therefore not currently good since soifon needs to be rescued , hitsuguya will probally fall down. I agree with the ban kai thing as well......it doesent necessarily need to be a bigger version of ones shikai (like Sebonsakura or Hyorinmaru) but something that goes in correlation with the themes established.

I dont think Ukitake is arrogant I think he has a great deal of humility. Aizen merely stated that he was "arrogant" in that he has so much pride as to allow himself to be tainted by hollows to reach new heights like how he did.
Certainly Ukitake's arrogance does not extent into the realms of hubris like other characters (Barragan, Nnoitra, Szayel etc..)

But really,as how easily Hitsugaya and Soi Fon seemingly dispatched their corresponding opponents, would it truly be deemed over-kill for two of the strongest captains to take on the Starkanator?

I would of strongly said yes last week, but now that we have another Espada lvl arrancar on the stage (Wonderweiss) the dimensions in the fight have changed. Really I would have never thought of Ukitake+Shunsui v.s. Wonderweiss+ Starkanator........but I feel like Wonderweiss has his own agenda.

And I see no reason why Hitsugaya shouldn't be fine as well, he didn't even get scratched. I don't think Ukitake stopped Shunsui from going Bankai because of his bankai's effects, I think he stopped him because Starrk is able to read and counter any ability after seeing it only for a little while, Ukitake doesn't want Shunsui to waste it until he is actually in trouble.

sorry i meant shes in poor shape , and that she would need rescuing from shunsheis bankai ( she currently cant move very fast her bankai is still active isnt it? as i used an example of huge area range for why shunshei may not go bankai yet.). if barragon gets up she will simply get her bankai off and trick him with shunko somehow.

I still believe that 'Super Chunky' might end up 'rescue' that current Espada that have been hit with bankais although we all thought they wouldn't need it. Starrk has been thrown out of the limelight and it was stolen by the Giant Hollow and WW. This leads me to believe that there might only be 1 VL and that is indeed WW. Idk though...

Perhaps WW is just the strongest VL and he's coming to rally the other ones. I mean Aizen does need an army and right now he seeming only has Starrk, Wonderweiss and Super Chunky left. They are not enough to get past the... umm.. 40 GOOD GUYS

Funny thing is Shunsui was already in trouble when Ukitake stepped into the fight. Has Ukitake still given a reason for jumping into the fight? Hell no!

Was Shunsui going to die from the attack? No, but injured which is natural in a fight.

Did Shunsui have other powerup? Hell, yes. He had Bankai.

So again Ukitake is very dumb since he should know Shunsui very well and unless Shunsui was going to really, I mean really die from Starks attack he should have not stepped into the fight.

Again, seniors a joke taking into account no Espada has double teamed into fighting a captain yet these so call senior does it.

Again, it only shows how pathetic Shunsui is. He needs his friend need to back him up. Sure people say he wasn't serious and by that they try to indicate that Shunsui wasn't really in touble and could escape it.

But why did Ukitake, his best friend, step into the fight if Shunsui was fine?

Reality is Ukitake lied. He said he doesn't do two on one fight and even Lilynette invited Ukitake to join Shunsui. This is the same guy who turned her down by saying he doesn't do 2-on-1.

I had a lot of respect for Ukitake but soon as he stepped into the Stark fight it vanished since it was a) unlike what said b) Shunsui was not even in Bankai or neither near death.

And to finish it off, Ice-boy and Soi Fon is out of commission since they have used all their power up and if Halibel and Barragan comes alive after this, then they are going to be fish fried.

For their sake, people have to cross fingers Halibel and Barragan is dead.

And to point this out what if all the ice is melting into water. Then Halibel could unleash her ultimate attack. This is not over yet since both were waiting for the right condition.

And Old Yama could take on the "Superchunky" and Ukitake and Shunsui go Bankai to face wanderboy and Stark (and for some reason Stark might leave "withdraw" from the fight).

Aizen is about to make his grand entrance.
