Itsuki "Ikki" Minami, is a student and a delinquent. Also known as the “Unbeatable Babyface,” Ikki is the leader of the youth gang by the name of “East Side Gunz.” Upon his return home after being humiliated by a street gang of Storm Riders called the Skull Saders, Ikki discovers a secret hidden from him by his benefactors, the Noyamano sisters. The sisters belong to a group of Storm Riders who go by the team name of Sleeping Forest. In the anime, learning the sisters' secret angers him and he steals a pair of Air Trecks, abbreviated as “AT”. (In the manga, the sisters give a pair of ATs to him and invite him to skate with them.) Ikki eventually settles his grudge with the Skull Saders, but in the process he receives more than the simple satisfaction of revenge. Determined to experience the sensation of “flight” for as long as he can, Ikki is quickly sucked into the mysterious, irresistible world of Air Trecks.

(anyone thought that military outfit looked kinda cool on the mystery girl? :D)

kazu is then shown to be taking a short break in their practice and when he takes off his sweat-drenched shirt to continue the training, emily goes and thinks of all the possible methods she could use to bring the shirt back home... (man, emily's getting more stalkish by the second aint she? -.-) anyway, spitfire then talks abt the existance of a program made for the completion of the "sky regalia" and he, along with sora and kiriku, wonders who could have written them... because of this, he has a bad feeling and suspects that within the tower, there is some other hidden agenda...

we move on to the next scnene which is finally the day of the match, where our monitor-faced dj is again the host of the match between kogarasumaru and white wolf... the immense support for kogarasumaru got the challenger's team very nervious and as kururu's dad seeks kururu's reassurance that its gonna be alright, he finds her missing and kanon explains that kururu is off to the company for something and that she's gonna be coming soon... having said that, kanon thinks to himself what could have happened since it was 5 hours ago when kururu went off and comments that there would be no meaning in this match if kururu was not present... the scene then goes back 3 hours ago when kururu was leaving the office where she met with hako who asked for some time to talk to her...

With a stun gun hidden behind her, what plans do hako have with our dear kururu!?!!?

But over at sora scans we finally got things going, we are scnaslation weekly Air Gear chapters from our RAW provider Shonen. In spare time we scan black lagoon~ And we got a Air Gear RPG so if anyone is interested.

Anime in my opinion is not good. I strays from the plot of the manga (which is a genius plot) So i say if the manga interested you 90% chance that you will enjoy the manga. But i can understand reading the manga on and off, but fortunatly groups like Kuu and Sora Scanslations has started and they are dedicatedly scanning chapters.

I fangirl Kazu too, but since the very first time when we saw him using air treck. :noes He's my most favorite character, although Ikki beats him when it comes to awesome power-posing. :flirt Nevertheless, Kazu is my no 1! :smug He deserves more screentime in the manga! :cry Agito just had his long fight, now it's time to return to the other characters. I can understand that Agito is famous, he IS cool after all, but I have to admit that I like Lind more than Agito or Akito. :D

No. Kazu isn't the current flame king. He's just "walking" on the flame road. He even got the ragaila stolen and he had hardly used it. :ohh
Actually, they (e.g. wikipedia) say he's the new flame king, but Spitfire wanted Kazu to hold this title, but Kazu is still in the progress to master the flame raod.
I can't remember, that he was adressed as "flame king" only one time or has recognised himself as the flame king.
