Cool. ^,^ Once I get some inspiration and my ankle heals I'll start writing again. xD Yeah I sprained my ankle like 2 weeks ago and I just bent it the same way I sprained it today like 2 or 3 hours ago. I was walking down a street with my friends and I tripped in a pothole D:
Yeah they need to pave that road. Then I went jumping streams. XD

Father?...I may sound picky, but I was looking at an older brother figure. When you admire an older sibling you like to follow them around because their fun, like Nel did, and just like they'll protect you, when the times comes, you'll protect them. Nel took that cero from Ichigo's first opponent and fired it back, and now she has transformed because her inability to protect Ichigo brought back the powers that she needed so she could. I actually find their relationship very similar to my younger brother's and mine.

I don't see them as romantic, at least I don't think Ichigo feel that way (though some will argue that), and I think it's something more special than a father-type relationship, because I have always found that when you have close parent relationship AND close sibling relationships, the sibling bonds tend to be closer because the parents are there to raise you and can't always be your friend, but your brother or sister doesn't have the same obligations so it tends to be more of a close friend relationship.

I don't have a brother/sister, but I think what you are saying. (The following sentences are all for nell, nut neliel) But I like the father idea better because she is a samll girl after all and she already got 2 brothers. When Ichigo saved her from the parvrion espada she saw some knight-in-shining-armor in him and that do all little girls see in their father in my neighbourhood. also did she alredy cry and was near her fransfomation ( glowing mask). that was max. 12 h after she met him and she had alredy an very strong binding with him, that leads to the conclusion that she was searching for some father figure all along, by whom she could feel safe (her brothers were not the best bodyguards at that time.)

P.s.: I think I get to involved with the psychology of a fictional chara., the only important thing is she got Ichigo, a person at whom she could look up.

When Nell is in child kid she definately looks up to him as a big brother. I'm not too sure about adult form. As you guys said. Maybe her feelings develop? Hopefully. I can see IchixHime; IchixRukia, but the one I really really wanna see be canon is IchixNell. I can picture them romantically accept for the point that Nell transforms back and forth constantly to all I've read in the manga. One second she's an adult the next she's a child again. -.-

well I owna find a good one beccause right know like with all my manga art its being done on paint and it takes a bit to get right but it works.

Yes. That would be that it and would be over. I want them to kill Aizen and get outta Hueco Mundo. My two favorite arcs are the Hueco Mundo and Soul Society. I absolutely hated the Bount arc since it had so much Ishida/Uryuu in it. I don't like him all that much. XD

I do not even consider that one even an arc It was a filler arc if you ask me nothing more and hueco is the coolest to me.

Soul Society was pretty good. I think the only good part in the Bount arc is that I finally got a bit of Hitsugaya's past. XD

I thought mayuri's fight was good and those dolls or stupid I hope they do not show up in the hueco mundo arc even thought they did not go.

Ichigo brings Nell so with him, at least out of HM. there's no way he would let hr die in las noches, he is the protagonist after all. Also Kubo won't kill Nell because she had
a.) a flashback, it would be the first time that he would a chara. with FB die.
b.) he can't let her die, because bleach is a shounen.

I agree, Nell and Pessche/Dondo have no place in Hueco Mundo. Remember her line in the flashback that they were once human... then became beasts as hollows until they regained their consciousness as Arrancar.

To me, it seems like she's loyal to "justice". Not the sick twisted justice, but a more noble justice. She could have killed Noitora easily back then and no worries now. but she took the high road, something that Ichigo would do.

I think Ichigo and Nell have a lot more in common than we believe. Though Nell has manners (somewhat when she told Ichigo off about Inoue's weight and being carried, though she didn't when she said throat penis :rotflmao) I think the way that she wanted to protect Ichigo because he did for her means her place is nowhere near the hollows. And also, she has some romantic interest in Ichigo too (Nelliel glomp for instance:glomp).

No way she's going to stay in that desert unless she glomps and keeps Ichigo there with him!

i can believe it^^. For him Nell was always the strong espada and not the little kid, the exact opposite goes for Ichigo and us. He just sees Nell as the person he allways knew.

2.) Nell is now as much a main character than Renji/Yourichi in SS-arc, we can not predict what is going to happen to her. i hope very badly she becomes Ichigos new closet woman, but when she staies chibi iz would be best if she got adopeted by Isshin like he did with Rukia.

I don't think she'll die. She's got a lot of potential to be a regular casted character and I do agree with Vizard_King, she will be a very important asset in the Winter war along with Pesshe Gatiishe, Dondochakka Bilstin and Bawabawa.

I also think she's got a lot of potential to be a rival for Ichigo's other ladies...

Lol! Well if you put it that way. She may be the only girl Ichigo would need then. ;) But I think I would have to reserve my opinions on that for another FC hehe. :D

As for the question whether she would survive, I think it's a definite YES.

First of all, although she's in a "weakened state" she has her brothers and Ichigo to watch her back.

Secondly, we all know that Ichigo had been the catalyst to Nel's transformation. That being the case, even if she returned to being a chibi, it's not impossible for her to transform again, especially if Ichigo continues to get his ass kicked for saving her.

Thirdly, I think now, more than ever, Nel has found a great enough purpose to live. (Before there was just revenge and her brothers. Now there's Ichigo) That, and with her being a #3 Espada; a woman with a strong personality; and a big heart - she's got more than what it takes to survive HM and help Ichigo win this fight.

my personal opinion on the question:

Nell will survive the HM arc for sure because she is now chibi again and no mangaka (in shounen at least) would kill of a chibi. On top of that she is Ichigo's friend, there's no way he would let her die.

She won't die, we haven't seen her true potential yet. She'll be a chibi for awhile, until her mask is completely healed by someone. Then the question will be, after her mask healed, will she just be Nelliel or can be both?

I think it is ok and untill very late in the manga peoble still doubted that she was a girl, so the tomboy appearance and the not-so-cute ( I think it's very cute) voive go hand in hand.

I am tottaly satisfied with Nel she has come better than my expectation her seiyu Tomoko Kaneda has potrayed her very well The Seiyu for Nel brings out what we had expected of Nel .... Naah who am I kidding much much more .Though they messed up a lot of the Espada they have done a brilliant job with Nel . I could feel momentary Schizophrenia in her chracter .

It just maybe of how it's in the pics make sit look different..also maybe how the light hits it as well.

I think it's darker than her manga counter part, but I think it will be better in the long run when she goes into her Nelliel form! :love

I hope her other voice sounds good, since it has both the serious and the silly when she glomps her Strawberry :rofl

ya i noticed that also. I was wondering maybe they made a mistake in the first scene but watching them do it again in the next scenes, it seemed like they were doing it on purpose.

I liked her hair in the manga better then in the anime

Crap. my laptop is messed up so I( cant watch the new episodes. I shipped it back today so they should have it by tommorow, then they said it'll take 7-10 days to get it back to me.
I hope I get it back by the time Nell's true form shows up to kick ass.

Inoue's hair always looked orange kinda, when its supposed to be brown.

I have to say upon watching the ep again, the voice actress for baby Nel is spot on I think. One blog said it was like a 4 year old on a sugar high while hopped up on cocaine. LOL!!!
