This fanclub is dedicated to Sado Yasutora and Inoue Orihime of Bleach. They have stood up for each other countless times, not to mention there have been many instances where their concerns and loyalty for each other are glazed over or dismissed simply because Inoue Orihime is in love with Kurosaki Ichigo. If you love this pairing, this fanclub is where you belong. And the motto of this FC is:

New mottos (cuter ones and less ridiculous are very welcome).



RULES:
*If you do not like a pairing DO NOT post in that pairing FC. If you read the fanclub and want to discuss something that was said then sort it out via PM or elsewhere, do NOT go into that fanclub and start a war. Anyone posting in a pairing fanclub that isn't a fan will almost automatically recieve a ban.

*You can discuss other pairings but when others discuss your pairing negatively and you don't like it sort it out through pm, if you break the above rule to start a flame war it's an instant ban.

*Neg reps to rival pairing fc posts over such things won't be tolerated. I consider this being in an FC of a pairing you don't like therefore breaking a rule.

*I'd suggest just totally not reading the fc of the pairing you don't like but I know that is never gonna happen. You all wanna be able to talk about other pairings so much well fine but just be prepared for others to do it about your favourite pairing also. These rules were changed as per YOUR wishes so don't come complaining to me when you decide you don't like the change.

*Please post these rules in the first post of your pairing FC.

haha! But that's the thing, when Chad does speak it's much more meaningful! Chad's so stoic much of the time, I mean, he barely reacts when a steel beam falls on him! But we know he does react when someone really important to him needs it, like when Ichigo, his best friend, needed his help to protect and save Rukia in SS. But even then, he doesn't really say much.

Recently, Chad has shown how important Inoue is to him. When Urahara told Inoue that she couldn't fight because she would just get in the way, it upset her deeply. Chad reacted strongly, he was shouting at Urahara, struggling and calling her name to get her to come back, because he knew how hurt she was. :cry

And then when she was kidnapped, Chad was on the front lines with no hesitation. He was at Urahara's before even Ichigo to make sure he could get to HM and rescue her! And he wasn't going to take no for an answer! :love

WROTE A FANFICTION! >< HELL YES. When I saw how few there is my heart broke a bit, so I sat down and wrote my first story in I don't know how many months, and officially broke my biggest writer's block ever.

Btw, it's angst, pure angst, and it deals with how their lives would go on if Rukia-baby made a mistake and erased Ichigo's (and Orihime's) mind in hope he would be happier without her.

Once again, it's very ansty >__> Let's just say I think an IchiOri marriage would be the biggest tragedy of Bleachverse, period.

Watching her


He watches her as she springs from a high-school beauty to a fighter, a healer, a protector.
He watches her as she slowly changes, as her smiles become rare, as gradually she begins to doubt.
He watches her as her every dream shatters and fades, leaving her empty and silent.

Inevitably, she falls, like a wingless bird, like a dream that is no more.

And finally he cannot take it.

The day Rukia erased their memories, Chad asked her to spare his.
Her blue eyes pierced him. “Are you sure?”
He nods, unwillingly, feeling slightly angry at her, and at himself.
“You are sacrificing yourself for my best friend” he tells her. “Don’t ask of me to do the same.”
Rukia steps back as if stung. “I – what?”
“You don’t know if it’s what Ichigo would want” he insists. “He wanted to go with you.”
She bit her lip and turned away from him.
“I just want him to be happy” she whispers, and that is the last he sees of her as she disappears through the gate, her tiny form shaking slightly.
“Thank you” he whispers, when the gate is finally closed.
Somehow he knew he wasn't seeing Kuchiki Rukia for the last time.

He watches her as she dates his best friend, a perfect smile plasted on her lips, but her eyes still equally sad, equally broken.

“You’re with her out of pity” he finally accuses Ichigo, when one night they’re out doing nothing, like in the old times. “Why?”
Ichigo shrugs and takes a gulp of his soda. “The hell I should know” he says. “She’s pretty, and she likes me. Besides, Tatsuki would kill me if I hurt her.”
Chad cringes.
The old Ichigo would say just that.

At the prom, they are crowned King and Queen, but there is no smile on her face as Michiru crowns her, light hearted jealousy coloring her chubby cheeks. Ichigo stands next to his newly-crowned girlfriend, tall and gloomy in his smart suit, and Chad cannot help but notice how despite of girls praising how perfect and cute they look… indeed they look out of place.
Some part of him knows, if matters went differently, there would be a raven-haired girl next to Ichigo instead. Maybe there wouldn’t be no crowns on their heads, but inside he believes – instead there would be happiness.
Orihime takes Ichigo’s hand and whispers something in his ear, and Chad cannot help but look away, squinting.
“There’s something in my eye” he says after noticing Ishida’s leveled look.
“Of course” the Quincy says quietly, and stares at her bright face from afar.
“She… is happy, isn’t she?” he asks as if seeking reassurance, and Chad sees no point in contradicting him.
“Of course” he replies instead.

They all went to medical college, Ichigo, Ishida and her, the latter two being the valedictorian and the biggest scholarship owner respectively. They went through it easily, he imagined, as much as he could deduce from his rare conversations with them.
Despite everything, he didn’t feel lonely. He had his job – albeit a hard one, at least it brought the money in – and he had Keigo and Tatsuki as well, if he was in need of drinking company.
But then one day Ichigo randomly popped up on his doormat and Chad knew, without being told, what was going on. He felt a sudden childish urge to press his fingers against his ears and sing loudly, hoping – but he was 23 now, and his best friend needed him. Shutting out sounds wouldn’t make it less real.
“We are getting married” Ichigo said, matter-of-factly.
Chad’s heart, despite being prepared, missed a beat.
“Who?”
Giving him a blank stare, the orange-haired man snorted “Not you and me, obviously. Me and Orihime, who else?”
“Oh.”
Sighing impatiently, Ichigo flopped down on the couch. “Chad… for crying-out-loud, be supportive. You are supposed to be all surprised and happy for me and stuff.”
“Well, what am I supposed to say? ‘Congratulations, you will look great in front of the altar’? ‘Oh, cool, when is the happy day?’ Huh?”
Even he was surprised at the outburst, so he couldn’t blame Ichigo for feeling the same.
Ichigo’s eyebrows travelled further up his forehead.
“…Kay, Chad, what’s your deal?” He looked genuinely hurt; and Chad regretted ever opening his mouth. What was he planning to accomplish? Why couldn’t he have just patted Ichigo on the back and give out a few supportive bits-of-wisdom, then open two bottles of beer to celebrate?
But instead of appologizing, instead of covering up, he found himself quietly saying “You don’t love her.”
Ichigo shot him a look of surprise. “I…”
“You mean you do?” Chad finally turned to look at his oldest friend, and suddenly he didn’t care what Ichigo thought of him anymore, he didn’t care at all about this selfish man on the other side of the room, whose only accomplishments as a person were erased from his memory. “You know as well as I do that’s a lie.”
“Fine, if that’s what you think, then I’m leaving” Ichigo growled, hurt and anger in his suddenly young voice. “I thought I’d ask you to be my best man but seeing as you turned into a holier-than-thou bastard, I’ll just ask Ishida – at least he always was one.”
Chad watched as his only real friend ever left the room. Ichigo was angry but sure in himself, sure that he was right, sure that Chad betrayed him by speaking the truth out loud.
Suddenly he heard a distant cry and the ever-familiar growl he thought he’d never heard again.
In the distant sky, there was a flash of white.
He pressed his face against the window. “You were wrong” he said to the empty room, as if Rukia could hear him. “He isn’t happy. Neither of them are.”
The light faded. Maybe it was never there to begin with, just a small hallucination on his part, just one more step towards insanity.
But God, he missed them all so much.

She invited him to the wedding, in person, one small speckle of bliss and beauty in his small dirty apartment. He appreciated that she didn’t frown at it, at the layers of dust he repeatedly promised to himself he would clean.
“Do come” she urged him, her voice equally warm and kind as he remembered it to be “It will pass him, I know he wants you to be there! But, even if he doesn’t” then she lowered her tone conspiratorially, and bent towards him, like a child telling a secret “well, who cares, I want you to come and eat cake and stare in awe at my wedding dress and dance. And, of course, meet someone nice – but, Sado-san, you don’t have a girlfriend, do you?”
Ah, this was Inoue Orihime alright, always a breath of fresh air and bubbliness, but after looking at her he realized her eyelids were heavy and she had circles under her eyes. There was no happiness on her face. None at all.
“No” he said and offered her to clean water and brownies, the only things he had available that were at least half-decent to eat. “Sure, I’ll come.”
What was it, about her, that made it impossible to resist, even when almost ten years have passed since they were friends, and she didn’t even remember it?
Feeling a sudden surge of fondness towards her, fondness that had nothing to do with his old and – he hoped – dead feelings towards her, he added reassuringly “I’m sure the wedding dress will be beautiful. And I promise I will dance. And eat cake.”
She smiled, maybe the first real smile he saw on her in many, many years.
“Yes, well” she whispered, cleaning off brownie crumps from her skirt and sitting up to take her leave – “For some reason I thought I really must, must invite you – I didn’t really know why when I came here, but I think I know now.” He looked at her in disbelief as she gave him a quick bow and flew – not walked, but flew through the door – “Oh, Sado-san, I know! Maybe in some past life we were friends?”
“…yeah” he said, flabbergasted, as he waved her goodbye “Yeah, maybe we were.”

It was a Hollow, Chad knew that with some sort of ill-minded certainty, and he didn’t need Ishida to say it to him. That doesn’t mean the Quincy didn’t do it.
“I thought they stopped coming after him after Kuchiki blocked his reiatsu” Ishida said, pale, when they were waiting outside the Kurosaki’s comfortable suburb house to express their commiseration to her. “I thought – “
“Give it a rest, Uryuu” Chad said, and the other man stayed silent, shocked by the sudden use of his first name “It wasn’t your fault.”
Ishida married the previous year, to their old classmate Ryu Kuneida. An unhappy marriage if there ever was one, in Chad’s opinion – Ryu was a cold, calculative woman, which combined with the coldness and calculative-ness Ishida acquired over years didn’t give for a very joy-filled union.
How far, he wondered, would Uryuu go in his pathetic attempt to forget her? Would he ever realize that Inoue Orihime was cursed – cursed to love and not be loved back, cursed to be loved and not to be able to love in return?
And would he ever realize there was no breaking away from the spell, no matter how far you ran, no matter how many years passed?

Beside her, their arms almost touching, dressed in an identical black outfit, hand gripping a much bigger, but similar, sword, stands a boy. He’s also young, perhaps even younger than her, despite his height, and his hair looks almost hysterically bright compared to the gloomy gray sky above him. They are silent. Chad thinks he knows why they’re there, so he unnoticeably gives a small wave. Ishida does the same, and his wife gives his childishness a look of cold-blooded despise. He doesn’t seem to care.
Chad watches Orihime as she looks at the soul of her old crush standing beside his own grave, and as she smiles affectionately at him and his dark-haired companion. He is close to her, now, and he can hear her whispering “…goodbye, Kurosaki-kun…”
It’s almost as if the past has returned, in a swift moment, and then suddenly it’s all gone - and Orihime quickly turns on the spot, buries her pretty head in his chest, and starts to cry.
She’s crying like he never heard her crying before, not out of sadness and not out of remorse, but out of relief, and then he knows it was all, finally, going to be alright.
When he looks at the grave again, it’s empty.
They had let her go.

And finally he cannot take it.

The day Rukia erased their memories, Chad asked her to spare his.
Her blue eyes pierced him. “Are you sure?”
He nods, unwillingly, feeling slightly angry at her, and at himself.
“You are sacrificing yourself for my best friend” he tells her. “Don’t ask of me to do the same.”
Rukia steps back as if stung. “I – what?”
“You don’t know if it’s what Ichigo would want” he insists. “He wanted to go with you.”
She bit her lip and turned away from him.
“I just want him to be happy” she whispers, and that is the last he sees of her as she disappears through the gate, her tiny form shaking slightly.
“Thank you” he whispers, when the gate is finally closed.
Somehow he knew he wasn't seeing Kuchiki Rukia for the last time.

At the prom, they are crowned King and Queen, but there is no smile on her face as Michiru crowns her, light hearted jealousy coloring her chubby cheeks. Ichigo stands next to his newly-crowned girlfriend, tall and gloomy in his smart suit, and Chad cannot help but notice how despite of girls praising how perfect and cute they look… indeed they look out of place.
Some part of him knows, if matters went differently, there would be a raven-haired girl next to Ichigo instead. Maybe there wouldn’t be no crowns on their heads, but inside he believes – instead there would be happiness.
Orihime takes Ichigo’s hand and whispers something in his ear, and Chad cannot help but look away, squinting.
“There’s something in my eye” he says after noticing Ishida’s leveled look.
“Of course” the Quincy says quietly, and stares at her bright face from afar.
“She… is happy, isn’t she?” he asks as if seeking reassurance, and Chad sees no point in contradicting him.
“Of course” he replies instead.

They all went to medical college, Ichigo, Ishida and her, the latter two being the valedictorian and the biggest scholarship owner respectively. They went through it easily, he imagined, as much as he could deduce from his rare conversations with them.
Despite everything, he didn’t feel lonely. He had his job – albeit a hard one, at least it brought the money in – and he had Keigo and Tatsuki as well, if he was in need of drinking company.
But then one day Ichigo randomly popped up on his doormat and Chad knew, without being told, what was going on. He felt a sudden childish urge to press his fingers against his ears and sing loudly, hoping – but he was 23 now, and his best friend needed him. Shutting out sounds wouldn’t make it less real.
“We are getting married” Ichigo said, matter-of-factly.
Chad’s heart, despite being prepared, missed a beat.
“Who?”
Giving him a blank stare, the orange-haired man snorted “Not you and me, obviously. Me and Orihime, who else?”
“Oh.”
Sighing impatiently, Ichigo flopped down on the couch. “Chad… for crying-out-loud, be supportive. You are supposed to be all surprised and happy for me and stuff.”
“Well, what am I supposed to say? ‘Congratulations, you will look great in front of the altar’? ‘Oh, cool, when is the happy day?’ Huh?”
Even he was surprised at the outburst, so he couldn’t blame Ichigo for feeling the same.
Ichigo’s eyebrows travelled further up his forehead.
“…Kay, Chad, what’s your deal?” He looked genuinely hurt; and Chad regretted ever opening his mouth. What was he planning to accomplish? Why couldn’t he have just patted Ichigo on the back and give out a few supportive bits-of-wisdom, then open two bottles of beer to celebrate?
But instead of appologizing, instead of covering up, he found himself quietly saying “You don’t love her.”
Ichigo shot him a look of surprise. “I…”
“You mean you do?” Chad finally turned to look at his oldest friend, and suddenly he didn’t care what Ichigo thought of him anymore, he didn’t care at all about this selfish man on the other side of the room, whose only accomplishments as a person were erased from his memory. “You know as well as I do that’s a lie.”
“Fine, if that’s what you think, then I’m leaving” Ichigo growled, hurt and anger in his suddenly young voice. “I thought I’d ask you to be my best man but seeing as you turned into a holier-than-thou bastard, I’ll just ask Ishida – at least he always was one.”
Chad watched as his only real friend ever left the room. Ichigo was angry but sure in himself, sure that he was right, sure that Chad betrayed him by speaking the truth out loud.
Suddenly he heard a distant cry and the ever-familiar growl he thought he’d never heard again.
In the distant sky, there was a flash of white.
He pressed his face against the window. “You were wrong” he said to the empty room, as if Rukia could hear him. “He isn’t happy. Neither of them are.”
The light faded. Maybe it was never there to begin with, just a small hallucination on his part, just one more step towards insanity.
But God, he missed them all so much.

She invited him to the wedding, in person, one small speckle of bliss and beauty in his small dirty apartment. He appreciated that she didn’t frown at it, at the layers of dust he repeatedly promised to himself he would clean.
“Do come” she urged him, her voice equally warm and kind as he remembered it to be “It will pass him, I know he wants you to be there! But, even if he doesn’t” then she lowered her tone conspiratorially, and bent towards him, like a child telling a secret “well, who cares, I want you to come and eat cake and stare in awe at my wedding dress and dance. And, of course, meet someone nice – but, Sado-san, you don’t have a girlfriend, do you?”
Ah, this was Inoue Orihime alright, always a breath of fresh air and bubbliness, but after looking at her he realized her eyelids were heavy and she had circles under her eyes. There was no happiness on her face. None at all.
“No” he said and offered her to clean water and brownies, the only things he had available that were at least half-decent to eat. “Sure, I’ll come.”
What was it, about her, that made it impossible to resist, even when almost ten years have passed since they were friends, and she didn’t even remember it?
Feeling a sudden surge of fondness towards her, fondness that had nothing to do with his old and – he hoped – dead feelings towards her, he added reassuringly “I’m sure the wedding dress will be beautiful. And I promise I will dance. And eat cake.”
She smiled, maybe the first real smile he saw on her in many, many years.

Well, since the part of my post that actually pertained to the FC was deleted (T_T)' I suppose I can just retype my thoughts, because I do like this question. ^______^

Basically, I love how they're in the same boat. Both are classmate of Ichigo and rather close to him (Chad moreso since he's been Ichigo's friend longer), and while they both want more than anything to help him, they've both been unable to. I look forward to the day that they can finally fight beside him together. It'd also be cool to see Chad and Orihime tag-team an enemy. XD
