Since we already have the spoiler, I just post the missing information for this chapter then.

Bleach 285 - Shishihamite Hitori -

Chapter began with GJ's most powerful attack and it shocked Ichigo. He used this attack to Ichigo in one hit.

Then in GJ's flashback for this chapter Shawlong told GJ that he quit. Il Forte then said he knew that they could never become vastlord even after eaten 1000+ hollows but thier power hasn't increase at all. They have eaten 3000 hollows already so they understood that there was no point of continue. GJ told them that they were pathetic and was about to leave when Shawlong asked him to eat them all first.

Shawlong said "Hollow that was bitten by other hollow could never change their status even if it was a small part. D-Roy couldn't become vastlord anymore, he knew it and we cannot transform anymore too."

He continued "We should have known that may be a hollow that could become a vastlord is destined from the beginning. We are destined to be only adjuuca but you are the one who could reach the goal." Then he asked GJ to consume them again.

GJ attacked Ichigo and laughed and said "It's over Kurosaki, you lose!" But sooner Ichigo managed to destroy one of GJ's claw (seriously, I have no idea how to describe this without making it sound ridiculous) and that shocked GJ.

Ichigo attacked GJ and this time GJ was the one who had to defend himself "Just like you said. I am here to defeat you, Grimmow!!!"

"To defeat you, to defeat Ulqiorra, to defeat Aizen and then I'll take Rukia, Chad, Ishida, Renji and Inoue back! So just only you, I will not lose, Grimmjow!!"

The chapter ended with Tensa Zangetsu aiming at Grimmjow and his eyes looked a bit soft (or may be admiting defeat?)

Oh okay, I misunderstood what you meant. I agree then. I feel that the fight could have been ended back in 283, especially now when it sounds like Grimmjow's strongest technique ultimately did nothing and was defeated quickly.

Before he was fighting to get it over with fast, so Inoue wouldn't have to see him all hollowy. But then, when she cheered him on regardless, and begged him not to get hurt, his motive for fighting was different. Now, he wanted Inoue not to worry about him.

It's what changed from him being a demon, to his old self, but still having that fighting instinct.

I think it just didn't say what the text LITERALLY meant, so I can understand people being miffed.

In my opinion, it's about time Ichigo take her feelings into consideration since he's been neglecting her for over 280 chapters. In any given point of the story he has neglected the feelings of his nakama at least once. Chad, Tatsuki, Ishida and even his family. He has to make up to each and every one of them eventually. Nevertheless, you have posted an admirable and beautiful romantic dream.

Yeah, it does feel like the latest chapters have been pretty much the same, with a few minor variations. [edit: ok, ok, the last chapter was a major variation :P] And KT has been hinting the end of this fight for so long, but every chapter that looks like that's it, tuns out frustrating. The pace is killing me now. If he really wants to keep drawing this fight forever, at least he could let us know what's going on with the other characters in the meantime. Fingers crossed this time's the charm!

So glad the end of this fight is near. I have enjoyed it but it was starting to drag. (Possibly because of it's coming out one chapter at a time.) It should be a good end if it's a colour spread.

Also really happy that Ichigo is talking this chapter, he's mentioned all his friends so he hasn't forgot them. Hope next chapter we actually get to see how they're all doing. (Rukia and Chad especially!)

I may be missing something, but in the original short spoiler, GJ was stabbed by Ichigo. The longer one--well, it seems fuzzy to me.

I still don't think Grimmjow's dead, but seeing Ichigo stab someone to death is probably going to send Orihime through another loop.

What I think is that Ichigo came there to save Orihime, but with the desire to defeat Ulquiorra, Aizen and Grimmjow once and for all. o_o He isn't saying "I only came here to fight the three of you!". I mean that he's probably thinking "We (Ichigo, Rukia Ishida, Sado and Renji) are here to rescue Inoue". And what kind of a shounen hero does NOT want to defeat his enemies? ;)

So I don't think he's saying it... not again!

Well the plausible context could just be that him, Rukia, Ishida, Chad and Renji came to save Inoue, but he wants to defeat Aizen and Co. while at it. That's alright methinks.

Bleach 285 - Shishihamite Hitori -

Chapter began with Grimmjow's most powerful attack and it shocked Ichigo. He used this attack to Ichigo in one hit.

Then in Grimmjow's flashback for this chapter Shawlong told Grimmjow that he quit. Il Forte then said he knew that they could never become vastlord even after eaten 1000+ hollows but thier power hasn't increase at all. They have eaten 3000 hollows already so they understood that there was no point of continue. Grimmjow told them that they were pathetic and was about to leave when Shawlong asked him to eat them all first.

Shawlong said "Hollow that was bitten by other hollow could never change their status even if it was a small part. D-Roy couldn't become vastlord anymore, he knew it and we cannot transform anymore too."

He continued "We should have known that may be a hollow that could become a vastlord is destined from the beginning. We are destined to be only adjuuca but you are the one who could reach the goal." Then he asked Grimmjow to consume them again.

Grimmjow attacked Ichigo and laughed and said "It's over Kurosaki, you lose!" But sooner Ichigo managed to destroy one of Grimmjow's claw (seriously, I have no idea how to describe this without making it sound ridiculous) and that shocked Grimmjow.

Ichigo attacked Grimmjow and this time Grimmjow was the one who had to defend himself "Just like you said. I am here to defeat you, Grimmjow!!!"

"To defeat you, to defeat Ulqiorra, to defeat Aizen and then I'll take Rukia, Chad, Ishida, Renji and Inoue back! So just only you, I will not lose, Grimmjow!!"

The chapter ended with Tensa Zangetsu aiming at Grimmjow and his eyes looked a bit soft (or may be admiting defeat?)

I left some unnecessary parts out and I'm pretty sure that this chapter will be awesome once we have RAW.

I'm still thinking a rescue team is destined to come and save the rest of them, once Ulqui comes out of Kana. I think it will probably be Shinji and the Vaizards to the rescue. I hope lol ^^

And I still think Grimm will survive this fight, and become a vasto lorde later on somehow, Like he will eat Yami or Ulqui or something lol. Thats the only reason I would see to leave Grimmjow alive, because if this is going to be his maximum strength for the rest of the manga there is no point keeping him alive, his plot purpose has been served, as the roadblock between Ichi to Grimm

Well, to be fair to Ichigo, he may be there to fight but anyone with half a brain should have figured out that there's no leaving Hueco Mundo unless Aizen lets them... so in order to leave, they have to take down Aizen (unless Hime has an escape hatch through which she can do her barrier thing and get everyone away).

Definitely true, but the first time Grimmjow suggested it, Ichigo was totally taken aback. It seemed that he hadn't even considered that a part of him would be there to fight Grimmjow, and not completely focused on the rescue. He's always known that he has to fight to rescue Inoue and get out of there, but it seems he's starting to realize that a part of him wants to, as well. ;)

Grimbles knows it, too, that's why the taunt 'You want to fight me for hurting your friend!'.

So Ichigo, given the opportunity to enter Hueco Mundo to rescue Orihime, has....decided to give his own personal vendetta against Aizen, Grimmjow and (later added) Ulquiorra free rein while trusting his friends to resolve the Orihime rescue issue, and then taking them all home with him after he's done cleaning up? He and his friends picking up Orihime on the way up to kicking Aizen and Co's tushies and then leaving together afterwords? I don't see Kubo implying that. What he's implying is that Ichigo still thinks he's the only one who can rescue everybody. Didn't he do the same in SS? Told Rukia he came to save her and Orihime, Chad, Ishida, Ganjyu, Hanatorou as well.

Actually, Ichigo really just wants to fight everyone. He did say in his fight with Doldonie that he was going to defeat all the Espada (again, neglecting his friends help in that area). But it's balanced out with his need to protect. Grimm doesn't understand that side of Ichigo. It's why he comments on why Ichigo keeps protecting Orihime in their fight. In the end, Ichigo told Grimmjow what he wanted to here. It doesn't take away the fact that Ichigo has a side of him that wants to protect everyone. As for who Ichigo really needs to defeat, Urahara should be public enemy #1, as he's the one who created the mess of the Hougyoku in the first place. XD

Yeah, that's pretty much what I'm trying to say. Right now, Ichigo really just wants to fight. He's got enemies in mind, he knows what he wants from them, he has a list of names. Obviously he wants to protect people, as evinced by the rest of the clip from the raw about gathering everyone up after he finished laying waste to his enemies and going home. But while protecting is a huge part of Ichigo's personality, right now the fight is what is driving his motivation. Is protecting a large part of it? Oh yeah, absolutely. This is Ichigo we're talking about. Is it the largest part of his motivation ATM? No. He admits that himself. The reason he came is to fight.

The difference between your SS arc example and this situation is that Ichigo didn't come to SS with an idea of people he specifically wanted to 'defeat'-- he came just to save Rukia, and as long as people got out of his way and didn't try to further the cause of her execution he was perfectly OK with them. He held no grudges towards either Renji or Byakuya. He did not come to SS saying "I'm going to defeat Abarai Renji and Kuchiki Byakuya and the whole Gotei 13". As Byakuya notes-- Ichigo had no problem with him personally, it was SS's laws and the circumstances that contributed to Rukia's execution that were his enemy. He had no personal enemy to fight.

This is way different-- in this case he's got a specific group of people in mind to defeat that have wronged him or wronged people he cares about. He's not going to try to work around them, forgive them or ignore them-- he's going to defeat them, because he wants to defeat them. This is a personal issue for him, I'd go so far as to say it's rapidly becoming a vendetta. He knows his enemy, he remembers wrongs done to him and to others at the hands of his enemy, and he is moving forward with the desire to destroy his enemy.

I do wonder if Grimm lives to fulfill the wishes of his fraccion. It's funny how the Title "Eat Meat, Alone" is technically Grimmjow thinking that if he eats the others, he will be back to being alone. So instead he decided to spare them so has companionship. o_O Grimm's strangely fascinating.

Ichigo's motivation for this arc is vastly different and this explains the progression of the arcs, in terms of Ichigo's character development. In the first, SS arc, Ichigo was an open book yelling with passion that he was here to save and rescue Rukia. "I have to save her, I don't want to save her" he says to Renji during their fight because he hated seeing her in pain, as confirmed by 181. His goal was focused and clear-cut and never once did he backtrack or turn around from it.

On the other hand this arc has been not really focused on Ichigo's determination to save and rescue Inoue solely but on the development of his killing instinct. There hasn't been that same outward passion or conviction, funnily enough neither has there been access to Ichigo's inner thoughts for such a long time, so we were left stumbling around and wondering why exactly Ichigo was here in Hueco Mundo.

Now we know the answer...it's complicated. Not here just to save Inoue, nope not at all, but here to fight as well. It's multifaceted and contrasts both the arcs wonderfully. :yay :yay

Goes without saying, but remember, Ulquiorra wasn't on the list even when he mentioned Rukia as dead. Ichigo said so himself, he has no quarrel with Ulquiorra. His main purpose with fighting Ulquiorra was because Ulquiorra took Orihime. So don't generalize all Ichigo's fights to mean that he fights for just one person in particular. Ichigo wants to protect everyone. Aizen is a threat to everyone so ergo, Aizen is top of that list. Remember, Ichigo wasn't interested in fighting Aizen when he returned from SS. It wasn't until Orihime told Ichigo about Aizen's plans on Karakura did Ichigo tell her that he will be the one to defeat Aizen.

Anyway, I still think Ichigo's got to give more credit to his friends abilities to help him in his cause. They may be down now, but he's going to need them. Heck, he couldn't really defeat Grimmjow now had Orihime not healed him in the first place so he shouldn't talk about rescuing others. If anything, Orihime rescued him. XD

Ha, I've always said I wanted Grimm to live and switch sides but people think he'd lose his badass reputation if he does. And with Ichigo's fights, I feel like his opponents (Renji, Kenpachi, Byakuya and maybe now Grimm) go with the thinking, "if you can't beat him, join him."

Well, I didn't really mean to make it about Rukia. It's not about Rukia at all, Rukia's just one factor that influences Ichigo's thoughts and actions. I was just trying to illustrate a point. Ichigo's motivation in SS arc and Ichigo's motivation in this arc are made up of equal parts, but what fills those parts are entirely different.

In SS arc it was 1. Save Rukia 2. Save everyone else and take them home with me.
This arc has become 1. Fight my enemies 2. Save everyone and take them home with me.
He's still protecting in both of them. But the difference is clear and unmistakable. Kubo's been forshadowing Ichigo 'losing his chocolate' for like...100-odd chapters now? What we're seeing is I believe the logical extension of what characters in the manga have been urging Ichigo to do, with one major difference-- Ichigo doesn't start the fights. Ichigo finishes them. Ichigo is developing his 'killer instinct'-- only he's using it in the right way. People provoke fights with Ichigo, and Ichigo finishes them.

Ichigo's resolve to win in SS was remarkable because he was honest and he acknowledged to himself from the start what he wanted-- he wanted to save Rukia. Ichigo up to now has not been honest with himself-- he's been scared of his Vizored power, and his denial, fear of his friends' rejection and hesitancy have been holding him back, not to mention his 'chocolate'. Ichigo in this one fight has acknowledged to himself and been honest with himself about what he wants from this trip and Kubo has shown us the leap in Ichigo's power as a result. Beat the bad guys, get your friends, and go home.

I expect some epic awesomeness from Ichigo in future if the curve set by this chapter keeps up.

That makes sence why Shawlong and the others joined Aizen to gain new strenght as a Arrancar since becoming a Vasto Lorder isn't going to happen. Exactly. Since the begining when Ichigo and co. arrived Aizen probably already had a plan on how to deal with them. Remember it's all a game to Aizen.

Aizen and Gin are very much alike. They're both watching and enjoying the drama we know that but I can hardly see any plan in letting at least Orihime who is his key to reviving the Hogyouku simply walk out...after all, he didn't reveal himself and leave SS until he got what he wanted from Rukia.

The only thing that bothers me is that Ichigo says he's there to defeat Ulquiorra and Aizen and then he'll take Orihime, Chad, Ishida, Renji and Rukia... so does that mean he won't leave until they are defeated? *scratches head* Hmm...

If that's the plan, I don't like it... I'd prefer if he just takes Inoue and his friends after defeating Grimmjow... then again... they just won't let him walk out with Inoue... so I guess there will be more 'fights'. *sighs* I hope we get to see the others... I'm a bit tired/bored with Ichi and GJ.

I'm sure that Ichigo will try to take the others and leave without deliberately seeking Ulquiorra and Aizen out. If Ichigo wants to fight Ulquiorra, he would have to stand around after the fight and wait for Ulquiorra to come out, which would be silly. I think that Ichigo says that because he knows that he can't hope to leave successfully without beating them all in the end, rather like how he chose to fight Byakuya instead of rushing away with Rukia.
