Updated Fan Club Rules.

* All fan clubs must be made and submitted as you would any other post however in the fan clubs forums it will be viewed by a mod before it is either allowed or rejected.

* Stay on topic, as related to the character/pairing of your fan club.

* Before making a fan club do a search and make sure that one doesn't already exist. If a fan club owner has been inactive for 3 months you may take over ownership of an FC. Please make a new FC with the same version number as the current inactive FC but add NEW to the title.

* If a fan club owner is inactive in an FC but active on BA and you want to take over the FC, seek their permission via vm or pm first.

* NO ANTI FC WILL BE APPROVED. This could result in an instant ban on the first offence.

* If you go over 1000 posts, be warned that posts after 1000 will be deleted.

* FC owners cannot make specific rules that must be followed, you are not mods. If there are problems in your FC click the report post button or PM a moderator.

* We do allow country FC's but these are basically so that people from the same country can socialize and get to know each other and arrange possible meetings in their community. We do not allow FC's for specific towns/states etc please stick to the country FC's. If you are caught bashing members in another language in your country FC you will be banned.

* If you do not like a pairing DO NOT read or post in that pairing FC. If you have an issue with something said in a fan club, use the report button or PM a mod, DO NOT take it into your own hands or start a war. This could result in an temp ban with no warning at the mods discretion.

* Do not discuss other pairings in your pairing fan club OR characters from a rival paring not apart of your paring. The FC should only discuss the specified pairing or character. This will be handled with quickly at the mods discretion. Posts will be deleted without warnings. Single/Multiple offenses could result in a temp ban without warning, depending on the severity and frequency. These rules apply to everyone on the forums, including owners and co-owners of fan clubs.

* Neg reps to rival pairing FC posts won't be tolerated. I consider this being in an FC of a pairing you don't like therefore breaking a rule. There are no warnings for this, this is a ban-able offense on the first time.

Added:

* The banner-size is up to the owner (but please don't make it too big)

* You may only own 5 FC's (this is to ensure every FC get's the dedication it needs)

Rules for fan clubs have been tweaked, with some clarifications added. Please pay particular note to the items in green, which are new. These are meant to supplement, rather than replace, previous rules.

Blue items are changes implemented since we started with the new version of BA.

General guidelines:

Anyone who wants to join a fan club may do so by posting in that club and requesting membership.
If you have submitted a fan club, but it doesn't show up on either the appropriate page or the master list, please wait at least 48 hours before asking about it.

New fan club versions: Since BA's database was reset, it was necessary for certain clubs to start over.

Returning owners may use the same version numbers they had in the previous version of BA. This is entirely at the discretion of each returning owner.

Since the reset of BA’s database, some fan clubs have different owners from before. If a club’s current owner and the previous owner are both interested in owning the fan club, they should decide between themselves who will be the club’s owner (or co-owners) before submitting the next version for approval. If an agreement cannot be reached, please allow moderators to mediate between all parties.

Owners and co-owners: Fan clubs should have active, involved owners who work to create a welcoming atmosphere for members.

Owners may not make their own rules for members to follow. If a situation comes up in which members are clearly breaking the rules listed here, the owner should remind members of the rules. If members continue to break the rules despite the owner's reminder, the owner should privately contact a moderator.

Responsibilities of the owner: The owner’s job is to maintain the membership list and guide the discussion. When a fan club reaches 1000 posts, the owner should submit a new version and ask a mod to close the old one. Please do NOT start a fan club if you know that you will be unable to take care of it for any reason.

Responsibilities of the co-owner: Co-owners should be active and involved in their fan clubs. If the owner becomes inactive, the co-owners should try to contact the owner. If the owner does not respond within a reasonable amount of time, then co-owners may ask mods to update the membership list.

No one may serve as owner of more than five fan clubs anywhere on Bleach Asylum. This is to ensure that owners are able to take care of every club they own. There is no limit to how many clubs a member may be co-owner of.

Owners may choose co-owners at their discretion. There is no limit to how many co-owners a club may have.

Acceptable discussion: BA strives to be a respectful, positive community that encourages thoughtful discussion.

Post with courtesy. Rude or insulting posts may be edited or deleted at the moderators’ discretion.

Stay on topic. Pairing fan clubs should not discuss other pairings. Discussing hypothetical cross-series scenarios is not considered off-topic in fan clubs.

No bashing of any sort is allowed. This includes bashing other characters, pairings, and fans.

Single-character fan clubs should not ship the character with anyone.

If you post an image that may be offensive, please enclose it in a spoiler tag and post a warning.

Appropriate conduct:

“Anti” fan clubs will not be approved. Such clubs are considered bashing.

If you don’t like a character or pairing, don’t visit the fan club. Neg-repping a club’s members simply because you don’t like the character or pairing will result in a ban. A fan club is not the appropriate place to post critiques of the pairing or character. (An example of an inappropriate post would be "I don't see how you people can think [X] is a well-developed character.")

Avoid one-liners and double posts. This includes posting just a picture. Edit your posts rather than double posting.
