Whats you favorite characters of all Manga-dom?

So basically state who your favorite characters are and why, and state which manga their from and explain why..

I'll go 1st:

Berserk:
Griffith: because he is such a complex character, and see him go through the struggles of him achieving his dream to the downfall. His ambitions are what I really like about him and how his personality grows and changes. Femto rocks!

Naruto:
Deidara: because of his attitude and his willingness to fight whoever and want to fight. His abilities are intriguing and are very useful. And I like his character design.

Hidan: I find him funny, the way he talks trash to anyone. His scythe is pwnage. His confidence is never lacking, thats what I like lol. Immortal Zombie FTW!

Bleach:
Shinji: because Shinji is pwnage. Awesome style. Just overall he is great lol.

Claymore:
Galatea: Because she is just awesome. Galatea <3

Isley: because his awakened form pwns.

I have more but these are my top favs.

Inoue- She has the power to be very powerful, but still hasn't reached that level yet. I've always liked characters that can be strong and weak at the same time, they seem more realistic.

FMA - Greed (the first one)
Putting it simply, I just love his personality.

Naruto - Rock Lee
Became my fav during the Chuunin Exams. He's one of the [very] few non-generic characters in Naruto who makes the show that much more enjoyable. Too bad Kishi-san just tossed him aside (just like every one else) in Part II of the manga. -_-

BLEACH - Chad
As much as I hate him getting pwned all the time, he's my all time fav BLEACH character. Since the very chapter he appeared in actually. Just love how he's this tall strong guy but is really nice and doesnt like to fight for the hell of it, he fights for other people. Using his "gifts" not for himself, but for others. Plus the whole Spanish/Mexican stuff that surrounds his life made me connect with him more. :P

Shishio - He's just something else... he's crazy and kills people and he dies in such an awesome way...

Samurai Deeper Kyo :
Kyo - Awesome character design and he's like..iunno, he's "for real!!" (lack of a better term.. xD)
Kyoshirou - Awesome character design also. He's just so hilarious, weak, but strong at the same time =P

Black Cat :
Train - He's a hilarious one too =D and he's a southpaw which I like~

Death Note :
Ryuk - just awesome. He's absolutely unique and funny =D

Dragon Ball :
Piccolo - Dunno why, I just like him =D maybe it's the green-ness? who knows...

Tien has always been my favorite and I'm not sure why. I think it's because he was strong but clearly had his limits unlike so many other characters from Dragonball.

From Rurouni Kenshin- Shishio

He was the perfect villian. He had honor, strength and ideals that you could understand (so many villians like this quality).

I love his attitude and intelligence. And his ascendance to God State and downfall are one of the most Epic stories.

Slam Dunk: Sakuragi Hanamichi

The funniest char i've ever seen in a manga (closely followed by Onizuka). I like his two faces: the goofy personality on the one side and the serious sportsman on the other side.


Gintama: Kagura

She's just awesome. I like her speaking style and her dumbness. She's the best female char i know :D

From Deathnote- Yagami Light- Both the hero and villian at the same time, just a great character.

From One Piece- Nami- she's just that hot:D Seriously she's a great character.

From Saiyuki- Genjho Sanzo- he'll shoot you if you piss him off, that's so underused in manga.

Isley of Alfonse from Claymore
It's just the way he comes off when he's introduced. We know he's one of the bad guys but still he comes off as one of the most gentle and nicest people in the manga. The type that makes you wonder if he's really a bad guy, hehe. Maybe even wish he wasn't.

Grimmjow: Hands down my most favourite character at the moment. He's tough, says and does what he wants to, and never backs down, no matter who it is.

Ichigo: I like Ichigo for the same reasons I like Grimmy, though he seems to be a slightly lighter version of him. With morals, of course. ;)

Naruto

Sakura: Hmm, for some reason I liked her from the very beginning. I especially like her now when she's more matured and developed. Her super strength and medical abilities have so much potential! Darn it, KT, showcase her more!!!

DBZ

Vegeta: He's tough and all that, but underneath (really deep underneath lol) he was a decent guy. XD

Bulma: She stood up to Vegeta AND she's darned smart. Enough said. XD

Future Trunks: LOL apparently I like the entire Briefs family. :p He's brave, noble, and dedicated to the ones he loves.

Yu Yu Hakusho

Kurama: He acts very nice and elegant, but he can still take care of himself (and his friends) if he has to.

Bleach - Rukia. She is my favorite female character, ever, anywhere. So strong, so deep, so interesting. There's simply nothing I'd change about her.

Naruto - Sasuke. Cannot explain it, though. I think I just fell into Kishi's trap of making him too awesome for words.
Or I just like the way he ignores his many fangirls and stays true to his gaydom.

FullMetal Alchemist - Ed Elric. My favorite anime/manga character. Period. 'nuff said.

Death Note - L POWER, BABE. He's the sort of adorable freak you cannot help but want to hug till death, even if he has the voice of a Grim Reaper.

Wow, this took up a lot more than I expected. While it changes depending on my mood, normally it is between Ryouga Hibiki and Piccolo. Ok...here we go.

DBZ: Piccolo. The original badass turned badass to get stuffed to the back for story purposes. The nerfing of the Namek is one of DBZ's 5 unforgivable sins.

Naruto: Kabuto or Neji. Perhaps I am drawn to the color silver, or mayhaps their viciousness during the chuunin exam. Whatever the reason, these two have forever gained my interest, and thus caused Kishimoto to gain my anger for his lack of portrayal of them.

Bleach: Hirako Shinji or Hanatarou. Smile in your face, stab you in the back. Or in the face. Never trust Hanatarou. Sorry Kenpachi, you are too straight forward for a liar such as myself.

One Piece: Luffy. That's right, I like the main character. I just....can't like anyone more than him. Oda cheated and I still do not know how.

Soul Eater: Black STAR! If you're going to live, live like a STAR!

Shaman King: Choco-love. You want development? How about a criminal kid, to a joker who tries to hide from his past and death, to someone who wants to bring closure to people and spirits alike. Not to mention he runs on the city noone can see.

Claymore: Raki. His optimism is infectious. A calm testosterone to the free flowing violence inducing estrogen tossed about in that series.

Ranma 1/2: Ryouga Hibiki. If ever I could be a flawed man, I wish to be him. He is everything I am not, and I envy and admire him for it. Scarier still is how much I hate Ranma and recently had it brought to my attention how much LIKE Ranma I am.

Gundam Wing: Chang Wufei. First "real" mecha series I saw and come episode 5 this chinese kid blows up a military base? Who was the only pilot to not be screwed up initially by the zero system? Who loved his former wife so much, he believe her spirit was with him in his Gundam? Who also didn't have a yaoi partner within the main 5. That Treize crap is so not canon.

Air Gear: Kazu. The grass has to grow strong so that the rare flowers can bloom most beautifully. Stealth will reign in flame.

Tenjo Tenge: Bob. What can I say? Black power? Feel the rhythym? Fear the dreads? All hail the surpassing of Bunshici.

Ikkitousen: Shuuyu Koukin. So awesome, yet so overshadowed. Why must men wade through the river of blood caused by the violent stream of estrogen.

Trigun Maximum: He has broken down the stampede more than any single being. If Ryouga is the good sidethat I will never have, then Bluesummers-dono is the insidiousness that I will not obtain no matter how far I reach. But I will try.

Hunter X Hunter: Killua. So much power and yet so weak. Knowledge brings fear, true bravery is seeing something you know is greater than you and still standing against it.

History's Strongest Disciple: Kenichi. I have no reason.

Flame of Recca: Koganei Kaoru. The golden child can make Kurei smile, defeat Joker, and cause the true Hokage to cry.

Black Lagoon: Rock. Talk about character growth. Now THIS is a reason to graduate from college and join the corporate world.

1# Kurono - Gantz
Has to be my number one. His transition through Gantz is really incredible, going from an absolute jerk of a teenager, to a honorable hero, who cares so deeply for those who are close to him, struggling to keep himself, and those around him alive in the most perilous of situations. His relationship with Tae is also one of the more believable ones I have seen in Manga, what makes it even more enjoyable for me is that we have Kurono picking the girl who seems be the best person for him, insteading of picking the character who seems to the girl that he lusted over earlier in the series, in a sense completing his transition from the start of the story. Gantz hasn't been the same since he was killed.

Rukia- My favorite female character. A fresh character who is so different from the cliched sterotypical main female character. It is nice to see a female who is take charge, instead of deffering to the male of the series. The different facets of her personality make her seem more complete and human when comparing her to the many characters (especially female characters) out there who seem to be too one dimensional.

Monkey D. Luffy (One Piece)
#1 male character in manga-dom. He's just pure awesome. Best shounen hero ever! :yell I love Sanji and Ace a lot too, though...

Noda Megumi (Nodame Cantabile)
I love Nodame for her warm and cheerful personality, and how she sees things through to the very end whenever she commits herself to something. I love her love for Chiaki! XD (See avatar.) And though she may still be a baby at heart, it only makes her that much more endearing. Oh, and her piano skills are superb. ♥

Samurai Deeper Kyo
-Akira. He's unintentionally hilarious. His fights are among the most interesting in the series and his condescending attitude makes for some good laughs.
-Yuan his purposefully arrogant attitude is too much and his fighting style is awesome. And he has a cool headband.
-Kyo. Most badass main character ever.

Bleach
-Urahara. Although I hate that he leaves everything up to everyone else, he's got some amazing analytical ability and his Zanpakutou has some interesting abilities.
-Ishida. Favorite Bleach character. Possibly the funniest character in the series, he brings something original to the whole Shikai-Bankai-Hollow Mask monotony.
-Chad. The coolest guy to never get any screen time.
-Yoruichi. Favorite female character at the moment.

Naruto
-Kakashi. Favorite "act like an idiot, but one of the scariest guys around" type character. Funny as hell. Makes the Sharingan look cool, yet not overpowered. Has lightning moves. (I love lightning).

1. Rukia- She's just made of win. I love the way that she is selfless,kind, tough, and independent.
2. Uryuu- He sews. 'Nuff said.
3. Ichigo- I like the way he acts like he isn't someone who would want to protect, yet he does. Also, he's funny. (especially in the SS arc)
4. Orihime- I especially liked her in the SS arc and the Karakura arc. Now, I'm waiting for the character she was to reappear. I like that's she's very smart even though she doesn't seem like it. She is also very kind.
NOTE: My name is Orihime not because she's my fav character, but because I act like her more than, say, Rukia.

One of the greatest anime/manga characters in anime/manga history(In my opinion of course). Wise.

I absolutelly adore Szayel Aporro Grantz- He is melodramatic, sarcastic (Just like me :P) and his part in the story made me laugh for good part of the Hueco Mundo arc.
I like the other characters, but in my mind, Szayel is at a whole different level-

On other mangas, I absolutelly loved the way Seras, from Hellsing, was developed.

From being the damsell in distress, to comic relief with occasional spotlights of being a mentally unstable powerhouse, and ended up being a monster with the heart and mind of an innocent girl. Probably, one of the most developed characters in a shounen series.

-Nishi: An example of reality. He's the one who acts like a real and rational person. If you end up in a place like that, you won't care about others asses...
-Kurono: He's like Nishi in some way... It's a shame that he became like Kato

Rukia - I love how she isn't just another weak character with no other purpose but to be eye candy. I also like how at the same time, she isn't just some emotionless uber intense invincible warrior either. She seems pretty realistic as a character.

Akira Sendoh: I just love how his name sounds for some reason (sen-dooooh~). I also like his overall awesomeness and his joyfulness.

Hanamichi Sakuragi: Funny, quirky, extremely ridiculous (me = tensai..!!). An awesome main character imo =)

Claymore:
Galatea: She's just awesome. Always has a bit of "pwn"-ness in her. Love her little confident/arrogant side.. not so much that she'd become annoying, but just enough to make her lovable and rather sexy. Her character design is awesome as well... simple, but very beautiful :lala

Miria: Great/awesome/lovable character overall. Very intelligent... and unlike some characters *cough*Light*cough*, her smartness isn't overstated and overrated.

-Itachi: Definitely a win character. He just strikes me as incredibly superior compared any other Naruto character :p
