From what I can see, this is a new anime after the manga. As a fan of Initial D I figured I'd check this out. Well, currently getting episode one. 2 subbed episodes out so far from what I can see.

Anyone else checked this one out? Or maybe read the manga and know if the story is decent.

This is a wonderful seinen . I have read the first chapter of the manga planning to watch the anime once I am done with Initial D Fourth Stage last episodes

Watched episode 1 and 2. It seemed ok. I miss some of the action from Initial D but oh well. Only seen 2 episodes. You'll probably see what I mean :p I'm going to keep watching it though.

I have six episodes Initial D to go then I am done with the franchise. As I am not a big theme based anime fan I am going slow. I will pick up Wangan
Midnight after that also I hate waiting weekly basis for an episode
