BLEACH ASYLUM PAIRING FC RULES

*If you do not like a pairing DO NOT post in that pairing FC. If you read the fanclub and want to discuss something that was said then sort it out via PM or elsewhere, do NOT go into that fanclub and start a war. Anyone posting in a pairing fanclub that isn't a fan will almost automatically recieve a ban.

*You can discuss other pairings but when others discuss your pairing negatively and you don't like it sort it out through pm, if you break the above rule to start a flame war it's an instant ban.

*Neg reps to rival pairing fc posts over such things won't be tolerated. I consider this being in an FC of a pairing you don't like therefore breaking a rule.

*I'd suggest just totally not reading the fc of the pairing you don't like but I know that is never gonna happen. You all wanna be able to talk about other pairings so much well fine but just be prepared for others to do it about your favourite pairing also. These rules were changed as per YOUR wishes so don't come complaining to me when you decide you don't like the change.

*Please post these rules in the first post of your pairing FC.

*At this point in time any pairing/ship/ship wars issues will be dealt with by: spacecat. So please contact spacecat if there is a problem and not another mod.

Second Love Story FClub >> RenjixRukia LOVE:love

This second version RenjixRukia FC ‘The Second Love Story’ is intended for another set of RenjixRukia fans. There is no intention to segregate RenxRuki fans, but circumstances is as such that there is no choice but to start another RenjixRukia fanclub. There is a wish for a congenial RenjixRukia fanclub where we are free to chat over anything and everthing in regards to Renji and Rukia, from the past history, present Bleach and our hopes for their future. It’s a place where everybody (regardless of whatever OTP one has) can oogle at the unique interaction; friendship and relationship between the two in which no other Bleach ‘couple’ are able to copy and be like them. In our opinion, not even IchiHime, IchiRuki or HinaHitsu or GinRan can be able to have that kind of interaction shared between the two, Renji and Rukia had.

Over here, we want them to be together for no other reasons except that they are fun when they come together. They may look great together in appearances, but there is something magical with them when they are together that makes us begging for more. Even if Kubo Tite-sama doesn’t join them together as househusband and alpha-working wife, we hope that they at least remained as very good friends.

Rules and regulations to be followed.

You have to be a member here first before you are allowed to be posted here.

Members here are expected to see this fanclub to be heavily endowed with RenRuki-biased opinions and materials. No defending or glorifying other rivalry romantic couples (like RenjixOrihime, IchigoxRukia, RenjixHinamori, ByakuyaxRukia and RukiaxOrihime).

This RenxRuki FC is not intended to replace the original RenxRuki FC, 'Redemptive Love'. The intention of this FC is so that RenxRuki fans have an outlet for discussions and materials that may be deemed 'inappropriate' for the other FC. Discussions of any sort are welcomed here, silly or objective, as long as they pertain to RenxRuki in some way. Fanclub members here are greatly encouraged to have their name listed also in the first RenxRuki FC ‘Redemptive Love’ to show united support to RenRuki pairing.

Discussions/debates about RenRuki couple are allowed. As ‘no man is an island’, other character(s) are allowed to be mentioned, provided that it’s done with no malice in heart.

Flaming and insulting of any member posters of BA, especially RenjixRukia FC ‘The Second Love Story” members are not allowed here at all. People who flamed other members here will either kicked out(if they are members in this club) or.......

Rules will be added or modified from time to time to make this place a peaceful santuary from flame wars.

@Sergelia.....eh you see, I don't want to pick so fast my co-owners so fast....it's a bit difficult you know. I was thinking of some names and see whether these people would agree or not.....hope you don't mind.^^U

As for more freedom.....I don't know whether you can call it more freedom/less freedom. ^^U It's basically this place is where we glorify and worship Renji and Rukia together, whether as friends or special boyfriend and special girlfriend or siblings. So yeah, everything about RenjixRukia is included. However, I would not permit if there is overdefending and overglorifying other rivalry romantic couple....like eg:: ByakuyaxRukia is a nono, RukiaxOrihime is a nono....that would lead into a full flame wars. Once you become a member here, you are to expect everything here to be RenjixRukia stuffs. Though, you can talk about whatever we have here, positive/negative in other threads....but not talk the overly negative aspects of RenjixRukia in this place. I'm sure there'll be people from IchiHime FClub who's going to badmouth about this place, once they visit this place.

Basically...anything that undermines the RenjixRukia as a good canon couple is not to be here.

I intend this place to be flame-free, so yeah....flaming and/or quarrelling members for this RenxRuki 'Second Love Story' FClub is not permited so. No tolerating that.

Hm. I was "warned" and then checked, so this just seems to be the IchiOri version of RenRuki FC. I'm sorry, I didn't realize it before (I'm so slow sometimes) so... I don't want to spoil anyone's fun. Could you please write me off the member list? I'll delete my previous posts.

Sorry I'm really not doing this in sign of protest or anything, it's just that well, it would feel really out of place, no? Have fun here, then, I'm not the one to be a partybreaker.

Alright, Lets get this club rolling. SO... tell me, guys. How did you guy became a Renruki fan?

Ichigo's and Renji's fight drew me in the most, you know. That was like the starting point of Renruki for me! I was just blew away by Renji's actions and noticed how passionate he really was for Rukia. Then it was the whole Renji carrying Rukia and refusing to let go of Rukia... when Aizen told him to drop him. If that's not love.. then I don't know... what is. =/

There's nothing wrong with being a member here, unless you don't like to ship Rukia with Renji more than shipping other RenRuki rivalry pairing. It's not really you have to be an IchiHime member to be admitted as a RenRuki 'Second Love Story' FClub. Look, I don't support IchiHime anymore!

Btw....reason for shipping RenRuki? Because I think Kubo's RenRuki is the most romantic Bleach couple. No other pairings can come near to what Renji said and did for Rukia.

I like them being more than friends... I totally saw that when Renji was fighting Ichigo and his memories rushed to him during his Rukongai days with her. What made it even more interesting to me was when Rukia got saved by Ichigo right when she was going to die, the minute she heard/saw Renji, her WHOLE face LIT up with a SMILE! That to me, made me go over the edge and start supporting RenjixRukia. Plus, Ichigo saying, "That's your job," to Renji definitely tells me that Ichigo knows what's between these two and what needs to be fixed and such. :) Well, that's how I see it.

Besides in my opinion, Renji is going to save Orihime mostly for Rukia. Because he knows how important Orihime's friendship is to Rukia. She's the first... girl that's a close friend she's had and yeah. As well as the fact that he just wants to be near her and try to keep her safe... though after they split up a few things didn't go to well. I hope that Renji is THE ONE to find her and I hope he picks her up bridal style and holds her tight against his chest near his heart. :)

What really appeals me about RenjixRukia relationship and staunch belief that RenjixRukia is going to be romantic canon.....is Renji's doggieness(I know there is no such word in dic). I mean, if compared between IchiHime and RenRuki's 'one-sided' love.....Renji is the person who is more active and persistent in pursuing love as in compared to Inoue Orihime. That's why I think Kubo isn't going to make Renji end up with anyone else except Rukia (regardless of what I think about the characters). Well, maybe there's a possibility of RenjixOrihime....for consolation ship, that is if Kubo intended 'Orihime's Five Lifetime One Love' speech to be nothing less than words.;)

I don't think RenjixHinamori is going to happen likely either. So...who is Renji going to get hooked up to?

One more thing, that makes me like RenjixRukia's relationship....it's really a not-so stereotype romantic fairytale.....an apprentice/helper to a mighty nobleman/wizard falling in love with the nobleman's/wizard's sister/daughter....that just sets up to a happy romantic ending.

Renji is an awesome person and a great shinigami, he loves Rukia so much that he was willing not only to step on his heart and try to look happy about her leaving him and going to the Kuchiki mansion but he was also great enough not to hold a grudge against Rukia for cutting ties with him. He even went above and beyond by worked his ass off to become a VC just to be able to reach her again.

For all the above, I believe in RenRuki and humbly ask you to enlist me :)

My favorite RenRuki scene is when Renji carried Rukia and ran away from the execution ground in SS. It's my favorite cuz it was the only time that Renji got to hold Rukia close to him...you know how Rukia shouts and gets mad when she doesn't agree with someone? Well she didn't (not couldn't) at that moment....she needed to be held, she needed to be taken care of and I am glad it was Renji who got to do that.

I always saw Rukia as a close friend to Ichigo who greatly influences him so I wasn't an IchiRkui fan to begin with. I believed Renji and Rukia would become a couple when we learned about their history...how they shared a harsh childhood together, staying together while their little friends died, when Rukia parted from Renji and Renji's strive to reach her...how Renji was excited as hell when he made VC and was eagerly waiting for her return from the material world...they are lifelong partners you know and they are perfect for each other

Hhhmmm....How do I become a RenRuki fan, how do I started off loving RenjixRukia? Well, to begin with...I was a IchiHime fan first, I actually thought from the anime that it was Ichigo had something on Orihime first ....I didn't stay through the whole 24 series, just jumped from first few episode to the last episode, because I felt Ichigo was annoyingly irritating character that I couldn't stand, but the way Ichigo behaved towards Orihime was cute, like an awkward boy who doesn't know what to do with the girl he crushed on. Then I was told by others that it was Orihime, the other way around, the nervous wreck so I was confused:headscratch and checked the manga, one by one. That time, it was already almost to the end of Soul Society arc, and beginning of arrancar arc. I read backwards, and forwards and was astound to what that Kubo writes in regards to IchiHime, but then I understood why I had that first anime impression....because they (the anime studio producers) literally cut off almost all of Orihime's crush for Ichigo.:lmao

During my read up of the manga, I started to check on Renji, character and storywise...rumors had it that Ichigo and Rukia were in love with each other and Renji is some dog who wants to separate Ichigo and Rukia lovers. But as I went through the chapters, manga chapters (that's where I really read)....I realized Renji is the one who loves Rukia very much and treasures her like a goddess more....Ichigo;) personally I don't want him to be any near with Orihime, my no 1 favourite Bleach girl. The differences between Ichigo and Renji.....given half a chance, I'd rather pair up Renji with Orihime than Ichigo with Orihime.

But we know that Renji wouldn't have any other girls except Rukia.;)

Sah...since I can't bring myself to like Ichigo....the only pairing that I'm left to ship, believing in.....is RenjixRukia....Renji can give Ichigo a run for his charisma and love, that is if Ichigo is really interested in Rukia romantically (I just didn't see any romantic inclination towards Rukia in Ichigo during SS arc). I began to eat, drink and sleep, thinking about RenjixRukia....and the more I think about Bleach, the more I felt Kubo is never, never going to forget RenjixRukia pairing, he's never going to let Renji's love for Rukia to be forgotten like 'Oh, she doesn't like me anymore, she's going for another guy so I'm going to treat her like my little sister'. No way, it's real love, full love, fiery love.

Heck, his love for Rukia is far stronger and deeper than Orihime's love for Ichigo. If Orihime wants five lifetime to love Ichigo....Renji, he just wants only one lifetime to experience that Kuchiki Rukia, not anybody else, or not other lifetimes. Just once and he'll be happy.:love That during that forty years he trained hard just so that he can go near to Captain Kuchiki Byakuya, (get a Rukia glance, once in a while) and surpass Kuchiki so that he's able to take her, Rukia away from Captain Kuchiki.

I never doubt that Renji's love is lesser than Ichigo's love for Rukia. Ichigo just treat Rukia like any nakama, but Renji....he cares for her always and forever.

Yes, they are not secondary pairing, we don't want both to settle for the second best, it just not fair for them. RenRuki's going to happen, regardless of other pairings, I'm believing it.

Revives! LOL, sorry I have not been posting, but I've a tad busy. Anyway, I can't wait until Renji and Rukia finally have their reunion. Chapter 269 with Renji going berserk for Rukia was just so awesome to behold. Kubo's not going to let Renji react like that only for him not to fulfill one sex love-filled reunion between the two. 'Course Rukia has to be healed first, but Renji can try his luck on using his kidou...though that may do more harm than good 'cause I can picture Renji being an emotional wreck. It will be funny and sweet to see Rukia being the one to calm him.

I thought RenxRuki was an undeniable fact after Soul Society arc. Once Ichigo saved Rukia, the whole IchiRuki ended up there; it later started Ichigo and Orihime squee all the way....nothing to squee about Ichigo and Rukia, except a series of misunderstandings.

Wow, I feel the RenRuki's love in the last chapter 287?

Unlike Kurosaki Ichigo, Renji and Ishida has the sense of urgency to go back and save their friends(including Orihime), they didn't dilly dally their time by waiting to beat up the Espada, to show that they are better than that Espada.

Kudos Renji, for remembering Rukia and Chad!!

But if you ask me, I think Renji has always been thinking about Rukia, all the time, even during the fight.

Yes! I love the "outta my way!!!!" after Szayel thought it would be cute to tease Renji about Rukia's "death." I find it strange the 8th espada needs two former fracciones, a giant worm, a shingami that's probably almost at captain level, and a powered up quincy to defeat him. While the 9th espada took a small, insecure shinigami with only shikai, and the 6th took uberchigo with bankai plus a teary eyed power up. Goes to show, dirty tricks steal the show.

I'm not sure about his reaction to seeing Rukia in her current situation. I think it might be too much for him. After all, his ambitions, goals and heart are all invested in that blue eyed chibi.

I know, not having Rukia in the manga is sad and a bit frustrating... but I think once Renji finishes up with Mister Weirdo he'll go running to save his princess. Because I'm sure that's what he's dying to do and that will motivate him to kill Szayel. I don't know how he'll do that with broken tendons... but love will conquer all!

I would like to join this FC as well. They have known each other since childhood and I get the sense Renji wants to best Byakuya because he wants to impress Rukia, that he is good as her adopted noble family. His friends Hinamori and Kira wanted to know when he was going to tell Rukia that he became vice captain which indicates to me that they know how he feels. I think Renji was added to the rescue team so Rukia and Renji can have more interactions. Although Renji offered to retrieve Orihime because he saw Ichigo was upset by Yamamoto's accusation, Renji really doesn't know Orihime. I think he is in HM because of Rukia and Ichigo. :)

Well. I always got the impression that Renji doesn't care about impressing Rukia, but it was Renji's only way of getting Rukia back. Now reasonably, him besting Byakuya would have never "gotten her back" per se, but from Renji's position, it's really all that he could have done to reach her. He's not a noble, he could never give her wealth and status like Byakuya, he could never compete, but Renji wasn't about to sit back and do nothing, so, like SS, if for Rukia, fighting a fruitless battle was worth it. "Do you still plan on saving Rukia?" *Grin* "Yeah, I swore." "Swore? To whom?" "My own soul" yada yada. I don't want to look up different scanlations of that, but basically that's what Renji and Byakuya said. Same with the Aizen fight, he's stubborn, a very Renji descriptive personality trait and even if it's utter failure, then that's something he'd take on for her.

I love that Renji puts Rukia above everyone else, while she finds herself in very low standing regardless of the fascade she puts out, he still thinks of her as something as precious as a star.

I really do need to join one of the RenjiRuki FCs and I think I like this one a bit more. I'm not a big Rukia fan (I know it's a rareity and at times I think I may be chased by a mob wielding pitchforks if I ever said some things to her super-fans), but I like her when she's with Renji. I just feel a slight ease with Renji that she doesn't have with any other character. I think with Ichigo, she still feels like she has to babysit him. Renji now knows his place and knows when she is and isn't capable of fighting for herself, and I think she knows that.

Kubo really does treat Renji's feelings with a lot of respect as well. It's never joked about, which gives me some hope for these two even if most fandom brushes poor little Renji aside.

I too share the same sentiments, I just think Rukia's character shines whenever she is with Renji, than with any other Bleach males(I specify the gender....because if we include Orihime.....Orihime pawns Renji....Orihime and Rukia are buttnekked, while Renji and Rukia are not). With Renji, Rukia's character is so refreshing, lighthearted....not so stout, tightlip and crunch the eyebrows whenever with Ichigo. This fanclub is tailored made for people like you and me.:glomp

But sadly, I do foresee this couple as not being together at the end....eventhough this pairing looks very chummy cheesy.:D There are a lot of issues that need to be resolved between the two (yes, Rukia too has her share of blames for not making it work....not because there is a third party/not), and not only that....I see Renji as being the one who would sacrifice himself first because his love for her is intense.

It's their chemistry that I love and Gin's reluctance to hurt her. And that childhood attachment gets me everytime.

I think after some more manga englightment, we'll see if the RenRuki pairing will remain as is or if there will be more romantic interaction. There has been some closure to the relationship, but it certainly can be expanded upon. I don't see any tragic love thing with them. But I don't see a lot of tragedy in current Bleach storyline. Seems like all the tragedy is over and done and now we have characters working through those events.

You see.....Tanabata(for Japan) or 7/7 Night and Chap Goh Mei are supposedly to be Valentine days for the East, but the Chinese especially prefer to celebrate Chap Goh Mei with their romantic love ones because 7/7 Night event falls during the Ghost Month.....hence they don't want to celebrate 7/7 Night with their living love ones and other unwanted invisible ones (if you know what I mean).

Chap Goh Mei, known also as Festival Lantern is celebrated generally in a small case, since it's the last day of Chinese New Year celebration. It's similar to Tanabata with a little bit differences.......girl maidens are allowed to go out of the house with prospect gentlemen suitors during that night, beneath the full moonlight(Tanabata's moon is a sickle moon).....to get to know each other better. If there is a river nearby....usually the girls would be one side of the river, throwing oranges into the river(rotten oranges) in hope to get a good husband.....and the guys on the other side have to clean up the river of the thrown oranges.....but all is not avail if the lucky guy manage to get a the tel number of the girl(smart girl).

Can you imagine what is it.....if Rukia throws into the river pineapples, and Renji has to swim to get it in order to court Rukia?:cry

I prefer Chap Goh Mei than Tanabata....because normally there is no rain at night and you would have fun playing games.....I just think Chap Goh Mei is filled with more hope among the living than Tanabata could. Tanabata is just creepy for me.

You make a lot of sense....and it's not really off-topic, since we are talking about love....and RenjixRukia possible romance is the very thing we want for our pair.

I did mention about the rain.....sometimes rain can prove a problem, but sometimes rain can be a blessing....so really it depends on the situation itself. I like rain, but just it's very troublesome....it's like leaving your fate, whether you all can be together / not in the hands of god.

But look it at this way....if it rains, couples cannot play, cannot go out on a date. I don't want RenjixRukia to do anything with rain.....it may sound romantic, but it just sounds separation and loneliness.

Rukia fights the Ninth Espada and she gets impaled by his weapon. She manages to use a a third dance and impales in through the "head", defeating him and her Reitsu fades. The Espada are making claims that she is dead. It's been several months and still no word on her status. She's pretty much lying in a pool of her own blood at the moment. No one believes that KT will actually kill her, but her situation is bad.

Hey, so my cousin gave me the Bleach game for the Wii, Shattered Blade. According to my cousin who was browsing info about the game on the web, Rukia isn't a playable character until she's unlocked. The only one who can unlock her is Renji in his story mode. How awesome is that??? I love that the game made such an obvious RenRuki connection. Anyway, I'm going to play Renji's story mode and see if I can unlock Rukia. LOL, Renji unlocks Rukia...Renji is the only one Rukia will open for. XDDDDDDDD *is shot*

It's a still of Rukia delivering a flying kick to Renji's head. I think you can also buy it at the Urahara Shop after that as well.

I wish I had a way to take screens from the game (Orihime's future me is one of the two load screens). I was kind of iffy on it at first, but it's fun to see who you get to fight. I was mad that you have to beat Hanatarou's episode to unlock Shuuhei. It's sooo hard because Hanatarou isn't very good. His sword strikes do nothing.

I love that scene, if it's the one I'm thinking about. It's when he visits her in the 6th Division holding cell. She makes fun of his eyebrows, so he frankly tells her that she's getting executed. When he notices that what he said upset her, he immediately tells her he was joking and tries comfort her by saying that Byakuya will try to commute her sentence.

...All this while in a rather flamboyant sakura-patterned yukata, which really makes the scene. I guess he's manly enough to work it.

In a way, it's a more mature Ichigo. I don't think Ichigo will ever totally change his sour, bratty personality, but I think his maturity will be him becoming more aware of the people around him.

Renji knows some of his faults and seems to be really trying to change them or at the very least is angry that he acts that way (the whole howling at the moon speech). In that aspect, I see him in the same way as Orihime, who knew she was jealous of Rukia and seemed more upset that she was jealous because she likes Rukia.

There... I was a bit serious today. It's a long ways away from all the erotic cake talk in the IchiHime FC this morning. I hope it all makes sense. :hm

edit: Both Renji and Rukia had very expressive reactions to the other's potential death.

Again, connects to how Rukia wears the pants in the relationship. Only Renji can pull off wearing something so feminine. He's got the long hair to compliment Rukia's short hair as well. And he's the more sensitive of the two, wears his heart on his sleeve. I had mentioned before elsewhere that I can see Renji and Rukia's reunion in this arc to have the same tone. 'Course it all has to do with Renji attempting to use Kido to heal Rukia and she ends up insulting him. He gets fired up but then realizes that Rukia was just trying to calm him by making things seem business as usual even if she's practically dying in his arms. Wish Kubo would hurry it up and give us some RenRuki goodness.

Do you read the manga, arrancar fan? I don't want to spoil it for you...but if you're curious I'll keep it short it in the spoiler below

Rukia fights the Ninth Espada and she gets impaled by his weapon. She manages to use a a third dance and impales in through the "head", defeating him and her Reitsu fades. The Espada are making claims that she is dead. It's been several months and still no word on her status. She's pretty much lying in a pool of her own blood at the moment. No one believes that KT will actually kill her, but her situation is bad.

I still haven't played the Renji story mode. I'm still stoked that the game makers thought to tie Renji and Rukia together. I would have thought Ichigo would be the one to unlock her character, but his story mode doesn't unlock anyone. You just get points to shop at Urahara's shop. Plus his story involves collecting shards for the Senkaimon gate, nothing romantic. XD

Favorite moment, I'd have to say chapter 155. It's in my top 5 for favorite chapters. It really sets Renji apart as someone who can deal with Rukia in any emotional issue she may be having. In a romantic smackdown with Ichigo, that wins for me. Physically, Ichigo was the one to protect her the most effectively, but Renji gave her more comfort in trying to get her to see that she was being too hard on herself. Some of the interpretations of that scene flummox* me, like why Rukia was saying sorry to him. Whatevs.

Yup. Favorite chapter, well that and Standing to Defend You, the chapter where Renji finally redeems himself for being a jerk to her (well in front of her.) Very romantic. The way he's clutching on to her, willing to die for her, and the pivotal, "I'll never let go of her, you bastard!" It must have meant a lot to her considering that she thought previously that Renji wouldn't do anything drastic to save her and those looks of horror as she watched him get cut up. :cry

:hug It's alright. Most fans really want to know if Rukia is okay. Poor girl. The big climatic fight and now she's getting no attention, but then again, other parts of the story need to be fleshed out, and the anticipation of her return is something to look foward to...she'll be okay...

I'd suggest a song, but I don't know what type of music you like or the atmosphere of the video. Did you find one already?

What do you mean with Ichigo fighting Orihime? Sorry missed the part about IchiHime.....can you repeat it, about them again please?

My favourite chapter would still be at the end of RenjixIchigo fight.....where Renji, after finally defeated asks Ichigo to help to save Rukia. That is to me seals RenjixRukia love for me......the man puts his pride away to save the girl he loves so much.....such a wonderful thing, so not like Ichigo.:rolleyes:

It's on the Bleach: Shattered Blade video game. To unlock certain characters you have to play the episodes for Ichigo, Renji, Hitsugaya, Kenpachi, Byakuya, Hanatarou, and Yoruichi. You fight maybe 7 people, then the original character they made for the game. During Ichigo's episode, one of the last people you fight is Orihime. You don't fight Rukia, though. Like Nocturne mentioned, you unlock Rukia when you finish Renji's episode mode.

I wonder whether it's intended for Ichigo to really beat Orihime....or is that the hard obstacle Kubo Tite was talking about when playing the Wii game in one of the OFtopic....

Anyway,.....Arrancar_Fan, how is the AMV RenjixRukia going on? Hope you've decided what kind of song to pick.

I actually think the hand sceness are the best thing when it comes to defining the sentimental moments....just the hands. Hands touching each other, just the finger tips.....hands holding on each other gently, hands, hands....

Too bad.....RenjixRukia pairing doesn't have that much of hand scenes as compared to IchiHime pairing. I find it very unfair for Kubo Tite to be not focusing on Renji and Rukia pairing.

Regarding the hands, it's my fave part of RenRuki's relationship, their hands, or everytime they touch each other. Something so intimate in the way they touch IMO. Kubo likes to focus on that too when it comes to these two.

Welcome to the FC, Leena91! Good to have more fans join in the RenRuki love especially since we saw how the possibility of Rukia being dead affected Renji so much. With Rukia being in the manga this week, I'm hoping that means either the fight with Szayel ends and Renji, Ishida and the desert bros go find her. Not that Renji can do much against the black Arrancar in his condition, but his love for Rukia might give him a power up. He's due for one anyway.

Or another possibility is the Byakuya shows up. It's wild that in the chapter 00b, Renji considers Byakuya his "rival". I don't think Renji is worried about anybody else as a rival for Rukia's affections except Byakuya.

Well hopefully the RenRuki ship will pick up a little now that we at least a little story developing around her. Seems like she's not dead as the Espada claimed since the Black Espada is readying to finish her off or at least sealing the deal. :(

Renji saving Rukia or anyone for that matter doesn't seem very feasible, but that's the great thing about manga, something will save her. Crack theories of mine (actually lots of people...I mostly stole it) suggest that it will be Gin who might want to keep her around. and I'm still thinking Pachi is around as a figment of Ichigo's imaginary world of shonen power ups.

Sorry, I took so long to reply. Aww, you guys are great. I love the RenjiXRukia pairing because it's marital bliss. They seem very comfortable, loving, casual with each other but at the same time...*censored*

Rukia, and it's mostly because I just ship the pairing, is incredibly sexy when she's paired up with Renji. I have no idea what brings it out in her. Maybe it's all the touching in the canon manga XD. But, I doubt that any of the other couples that I have shipped previously have had the sexual appeal of Renji and Rukia together.

I love the new years greeting that was showcased in the artbook with all the omakes. Renji smiling like a dorky as Rukia has her tiny hands on bonnie-chan giving the biggest, dorkiest smile that's so rare for Rukia. Of course Ni-sama is focused on something else in the background.

This is quite the scary prospect. Rukia is terrified of Gin, and on the bridge scene he had shown how cruel he can be with Rukia's feelings. If that's his way of getting Rukia to realise what her feelings for Renji is, well, I honestly don't think it's necessary because Rukia was able to sense Renji's fading reiatsu on her own, and that can also be a catalyst if she did love him in that way.

Gin himself, for me, is a very grey character. I ship GinRan, but I don't understand him at all and my shipping was largely based on what Rangiku seems to can't let go and the hope that Gin is a secret (very secret!) good guy. But I can't fathom Gin's motivations from what Kubo has shown us. Sometimes he's a real bastard and sometimes he looks like he's hiding something.

So I also can't fathom why Gin would want to bring Renji and Rukia together. Unless for a farfetched theory that he didn't want them to end up like he and Rangiku. But even that's a faulty theory because Gin and Rangiku didn't have misunderstandings: he was the first to leave her and then after he became a different person, Rangiku was the one keeping her emotional distance.

(Somehow I veered off to another pairing discussion, did I?) ^^;

Anyway, I think at this point nobody needs to bring Renji and Rukia together. They were closer to each other than anyone else in existence at a point of time, and although now they're not the only people each other had anymore, they're still doing well at catching up, for two friends that's been apart for decades. The next step to RenRuki being together now, IMO, is action from both. Their 50 years situation is due to both side's unforced inaction--nobody actively stopped them from seeing each other! So now, no external party would be able to bring them together. Only they themselves can, if they do feel that way about each other.

Dunno how others think though. :p

It's a good 2008 year calender pic for RenjixRukia, no? Ichigo walks ahead in front by himself, while Renji walks behind Rukia....to protect her from being tainted by dirty-minded people like me.:p

In regards to Gin.....the way I see it is.....I think Kubo Tite has made many shinigamis in Soul Society to be aware of Renji's feelings for Rukia.....Ikkaku, Hinamori, Kira, Riekie, .....Aizen Sousuke and dare I say Kuchiki Byakuya. They know that Renji's feelings for Rukia isn't just a one-time crush, it's a feeling that propels him to upgrade himself into greater heights.

However....Gin....I believe Kubo Tite used him to revel a little bit of Rukia's side, how Rukia feels for Renji.....Gin's a sneaky, manipulative person; he feeds on the feelings of the people, especially in regards to people who matter the most for them.....for Hitsugaya; it's Hinamori....for Kira; it's Hinamori, for Byakuya; it's his sister and the cause Byakuya is suppose to uphold......and with Rukia; it's Renji.

You know....for a sneaky and manipulative person, you wouldn't do it(teasing other people's feelings) if you know for sure it's the real thing. Gin knows Rukia cares for Renji very much, or else.....he wouldn't bring him up to her and scared her to bits.

As for Gin, RenxRuki matchmaker / not .....if he is, it's a good thing, he would be able to be redeemed back as a good guy, no? But I don't think he would do anything trivia as to bring Renji and Rukia together. However....he wouldn't hesitate to use RenxRuki bond for his advantage.....provided he's being cornered....I think.

I so totally love that pic!!! I love that Kubo made Renji look like the possesive boyfriend protecting what's his. I love that Renji and Rukia are the focus of the page and your eye is immediately drawn to them! Ichigo doesn't even care what's going on behind and Chad's not really caring either. It's all about Renji and Rukia. What's also interesting about that pic is that Kubo made Renji's body language look like he's about to engulf Rukia. There's no doubt that the pics is RenRuki through and through.

Here's the thing.....RenjixRukia contest is still on, but I kinda have problem getting the prizes.....it's more like I'm undecided of what to get, that and the fact there are not much RenjixRukia memoralibias.....and even if there is, it's much more expensive to get them.....they(RenjixRukia) come in more like boxset/group form.

In my place, Deepavali is coming......I kinda bump*or was that sneak in??* into their bazaar. The accessories are kinda cheap and nice, so I was wondering whether we could use them as gifts? I am talking more like bracelets, pendants, shawls(scarfs), necklace and ear rings(not finger rings / nose rings)....it's more value for money......Well since a majority here are girls.

What do you think? Yes / no....i hope it's a yes.....cause there are a lot of nice/nice things there to look at.

Thanks so much for the larger pic. LOL, my eyes are still drawn to RenRuki though, can't help it. Hitsugaya might as well have not been there. I guess it's because Hitsugaya is also walking straight like Chad and Ichigo before him. In a way because all three guys to the left of Renji and Rukia are doing the same thing that you don't notice them. Renji breaks the mold when he folds into Rukia. Well Chad and Hitsugaya do look at what's going on with Renji and Rukia, but Ichigo doesn't give a fig. Almost like Ichigo trusts that Renji can take care of his own. This is the same guy who threw Rukia to Renji, so he knows Renji's up to the task of protecting Rukia in any situation, even when it comes to covering her panties. XD BTW, the fact that Renji is walking closely behind Rukia means he's set himself to be the protector of her cute behind. Nothing like Renji anticipating Rukia's needs.

Again goes back to all the other guys who are just platonic friends to Rukia having the same "who cares" attitude while Renji is actively doing something for Rukia. Action vs Inaction so to speak. I was LOL at Kubo giggling like a schoolgirl. I wouldn't put it passed Kubo to have Renji and Rukia in risque positions. I bet he's got a hentai Bleach collection under his bed or something. Lastly, I totally agree about Renji and Rukia's body language, best in Bleach when it comes to how they interact with each other. They are the only ones we've seen where Rukia is carried bridal style by Renji after all. No other can compare to how Renji holds her.

manfan, maybe Lady O or Mz D can be of help since they're good at getting prizes for contests. I wouldn't mind having the calendar as a prize 'cause that pic of Renji and Rukia together like that is a dream for any RenRuki fan. But then again, I'd probably buy it before the contest.

Actually I rather not want to disturb MzD as much as I can.....she still hasn't come back to me with AizenxOrihime / HitsugayaxOrihime.....thought of getting the doujishnis RenxRuki.....apparently from her, yaoi doujishinis are overwhelming.....she has to look one by one there....and the other Naruto merchandise items.

The shops that I go to, is just not enough as in compared to Akihabara.

But there is a grand prize which is Bleach item:love(not RenjixRukia, wat a pity.)

I'm really impressed with that color spread. The tiny bit of innuendo was just enough to give enough fanservice and not set anything in stone. It's all too obvious that Renji was the BEST choice to cover up what would otherwise be a scandalous shot, KT even went to the trouble of having Renji glare at the camera to let the viewer infer that Renji is not happy about it and that he's deliberately making sure that no one is trying to sneak a peak. He could have had Renji blocking Rukia while looking around like the others or he could have had someone else blocking Rukia with Renji looking at the camera full on, but no! :yell, he had both. :3

I wonder what Renji would have done if he was around the Bleach female color spread that was set on the beach. Rukia's bum was showing! :cool:

I saw some fanart with him reacting to that shot. Or at least, I think I did. I've always had a very vivid imagination. :D

Like everyone else has said Renji is the perfect fit for that spread. Aside from Byakuya, who is more quiet in his tendency to be overprotective, there isn't anyone else you could swap in there. It reminds me of the Bleach on the Beach omake where Ichigo gets mad at Matsumoto for teaching Orihime to carry water her cleavage.

I keep getting caught up in how twiggy Renji's legs look, but the shinigami hakama do leave a lot to the imagination

I'd love to help with prizes, but I'm flat broke. I've got to register for winter quarter, buy books, save money for Christmas, and Disneyland...

The problem with me is ....I am kinda a difficult shopper. Money is not a problem for me, it's just that I am a very choosy and a practical buyer. I just don't like to buy anything which I myself don't like it. I mean badges / keychains, save for Orihime and Renji keychains....I don't want to ever be seen any near with Bleach badges.....they are just a little bit.....very unfeminine for my taste. And I want to buy something I like very much, and I would use it....or at least look at the pictures and smile. So it kinda have to appeal me first.....I mean, what's the point of giving away something that I don't like, right? Unless other people want it, of course.

I went to the anime toy shops.....that kinda get their items from Hong Kong, not Japan....I think.
I saw a clock, a red clock, with Vaizard Ichigo on it.....and all the time I was thinking to myself.....how the heck am I able to tell time......don't want to buy.

Then went to another shop where they have plush toys, that you hang on the window....they sell it in a set, Kurosaki Ichigo, Urahara and Kon included; -_-;;;....of course they have Rukia and Renji together.....but I just couldn't buy the sets and have Ichigo and Kon staring at me near the window. -_-;;

They have another one set of plush toys the same but bigger.....with Kenpachi, Byakuya, Toshirou, and KON AND ICHIGO!!! I was thinking at that time to get only Byakuya and Kenpachi.....they look good together.....but no I have to buy all the plush toys, Ichigo and Kon included.

Then thought of buying that handphone strap miniature chaacters....with their flower emblems......also have to buy in a set,.....out of the six, 3 are Kurosaki Ichigo.:cry *I felt like knocking my head against the wall*

But the good news is.....one shop says yes to me, he can sell Aizen Sousuke character to me.....minus the other characters that come in a set. I am so happy!! :wtf Now I can pair him with my poor and lonely shinigami Inoue Orihime.

I bought a few items from that shop, to show how grateful I am to that person......

A Quincy necklace.....you know that Quincy star sign as a pendant.....A Renji necklace.....with Renji's zabimaru as a pendant....the two necklaces are the type that only rough people wear it.

A handphone bleach star sign....actually I don't think it is....it's more like a bookmark, a very expensive bookmark(because it's very, very pretty....Ichigo and Hitsugaya of the second Bleach movie....you know that one with bankai, bloody Ichigo and bankai, icy Hitsugaya on one side.....plus Renji/Rukia and Ichigo/Orihime in evening prom 'Bleach Musical' pictures at the back).

plus, plus.....I bought 3 copies of Bleach game.....because the shop actually sell computer and video games at a vert affordable price.

I also bought a Bleach bag, imprinted with Bleach poster.....the one with Ichigo and other shinigami captains(Kenpachi, Byakuya) and Renji.

I wonder whether we could use all of them....the ones that I bought as gifts / not for the contest?

I think I can give away Kuchiki Byakuya action figure too as a gift.

That said, episode 146 was made of RenRuki love!!! That tagteam, the hand porn, their in synch jumps! They even sit together on Bawabawa! The animators made them look like such a couple! And I'm glad the animation was good this time around. Made it good for RenRuki love!

Well not actual porn :cry...I think it's Nocturne that coined the term between Renji and Rukia. There is usually an emphasis on the way Renji has his hands on Rukia and vice versa. Like in SS, first when Renji tells Rukia that Ichigo is still alive to relieve some of her guilt, Renji's getaway where he is clutched on to Rukia during her rescue, the way Rukia clutched onto Renji after he told her to depend on him and Ichigo to help her out until she can stand on her own:cry (Renji trumphs all male love interests!), and then his hand right next to hers when they're proudly displaying Rukia's visuals for the Arrancar explanations XD (Renji takes Rukia's drawings seriously :hm), the shinigami omake color book cover where Rukia has her little hand on Renji, and when Renji has his hand on her shoulder comforting her and leading her way back to SS in Chapter 238!
