What I like about KaiRuki is how much this bond influenced Rukia, and how it continues to influence her character. Especially notable is during Rukia's fight with Aaroniero. It was emotionally and mentally hard on Rukia, but the memories of the real Kaien is what allowed her to prevail against her opponent. I also believe that Kaien would be happy for Rukia if he knew how much Rukia has done for his cousin, Ichigo.
