Relationship

Not too much is known about how long these two have known each other, but it has been shown that they have been close friends since their days at the Shinigami Academy. And although they have somewhat contrasting personalities, they always stay along the same path. According to Captain Commander Yamamoto, their abilities in battle are both complimentary and unrivaled.

Yay! Welcome jinxie-winxy! I agree, although I don't really see Ukitake doing much in this battle besides talking to Lilinette or something.

I have no clue though, I'm looking more forward to their individual fights. Maybe they'll tag team Stark?

I don't even see Stark as a killer though. He just seems to lazy to even go through with it. I love how Stark was like "lets just pretend to fight until everyone else is finished" and Shunsui was like "GREAT IDEA"

Ukitake was just like "Whaaaa,....?"

So, why do you like Shunsui and Ukitake?

I have done for a while. I guess I just thought they were an awesome coupling since they're best friends, obviously know eachother inside out and a Shinigami cup episode got me thinking XD I can't remember who asks where they are, but it then shows a clip of the two of them like "hm?" in a corridor or something.
I thought it was uber cute and got addicted to it XD

I'm also thinking, If Ukitake gets killed off in the Manga, what affect will it have on Shunsui and Ol'Yama?
I reckon Shunsui would go bonkers.

Yeah, same here, but I'm hoping and praying that none of the sort happens. If Kubo is going to kill off a Captain, at least let it be one who isn't one of the big dogs.

I agree with the point you made about them knowing each other inside and out. That's probably my favorite part about the friendship.

I hope Ukitake joins the fight against Stark, otherwise he will just have to stand there and watch since everyone else is matched up with someone.

I find it funny that Kubo made them stick together against one Espada and one Fraccion, while Hitsugaya and Rangiku went to face an Espada and THREE Fraccion. Glad they're sticking together, but the only thing is I sorta want to see their individual strength.
