Surprised, Matsumoto watched Renji wander off by himself before running over, grabbing his ponytail and pulling him to a stop.

"Do you know where to find them, then... the kids I've been meeting?" She asked suspiciously, her hand still gripping his hair. "Or do you just have a really bad sense of direction?"

With his lieutenant, Chōjirō Sasakibe, seeing through the preparations for the new recruits orientation, Commander-General Yamamoto Genryusai was left with some time to himself.

His haori flapping against the wind and walking stick at hand, the commander-general was taking his usual, leisurely stroll in one of the gardens of the Gotei 13 compound.

He feels a sudden rush of reiatsu in the distance - somewhere along the training grounds. He quickly identifies them belonging to one of his captains, Hitsugaya Toushiro. And another that of the ryoka, Kurosaki Ichigo.

*sigh* "Don't these children know that releasing Ban Kai in this area is restricted?" he says with exasperated breath.

*calls forth a hell moth*

"Summon Hitsugaya-taichou to my quarters. I need to have a word with him"Sorry for the late reply! Been busy of late ><

*hell moth lands on finger*

*shunpo's in direction of Yamamoto's reiatsu*

Matsumoto eyed him, then smirked challengingly. She let go of his hair, then stepped back.

"Of course you do." She purred, then crossed her arms. "Okay, if you can locate those kids without my help, I'll kiss you." She raised her eyebrows. "If not...?"

*smirks a bit and makes a step on her right, just enough to escape his zanpakutou; then attacks, knowing that he should evade that one*

*With Kuchiki out of the way he can finally leave for Hueco Mundo, upon arriving he sends a message to each of the Espada asking them to meet with him in the usual place. He goes into a nearby kitchen and makes himself a tea, a small arrancar girl tries to help him but he brushes her away.*

It's okay I don't mind making it myself.

*He smiles at her and her cheeks turn bright red as she bows and scurries away quickly.*

Espada meeting, let's see how this goes.

*Heads for the room.*

*Eyes light up.*

“What really!!!!!Let me feel it.”

*Places his hand on Hisana’s stomach.*

Noitora walks down the white hall of Las Noches, he heard a light conversation between Ulquiorra and Grimmjow. He turned to emrge through the door. He saw the two espada, Grimmjow standing with a smirk and Ulquiorra sitting attentivly as if Aizen had already arrived. " Well lets not start another fight, Grimmjow" Noitora said grinning then took his normal seat. He began to wait.........

"Of course the maids make sure they give me enough food all the time" she said "They even wake me up when i am sleeping to make sure i get enough nutrients in my body"

She looked at her stomach too.

"It's a shame we must listen to such morons isn't Ulquiorra? Hope Aizen gets here soon."

*Puts right hand over left and then rests chin on it*

The Commander-general was seated on his office chair, his visage sandwiched between high stacks of paper.

"Ahhh... Hitsugaya-taichou. I was wondering where you have been" he says to the young captain.

"Sit down, have some tea." He says, nonchalant.

*sits down at table*

Szayel

A metal baton falls to the floor with a clatter as a Szayel wrestles with a small hollow that is shrieking and thrashing about atop the laboratory table.

"Aren't we a slippery one today...?" Szayel says through gritted teeth, his eyes flashing and his hair a wild mess in front of his face. The hollow unleashes a poisonous barb and strikes at Szayel's hands.

"Damn it!" the espada exclaims, jumping back. The hollow half leaps, half falls off the table and scuttles across the room, dragging with it the lab equipment still attached to its body by a series of wires and coils.

Szayel closes his eyes in disgust as two rotund arrancar lumber after it.

Idiots... he thinks, his lips pressed into a tight, white line. He shakes his hair out of his face and carefully smooths the pink tresses back into place as he attempts to calm his nerves.

One of the arrancar nearly trips over the lab equipment, and Szayel heaves a sigh.

"I don't have time for this."

He slips a hand under the table and trips a switch, and a large hole opens up in the floor beneath the hollow. The creature tumbles in with one last porcine squeal; the equipment hesitates at the lip of the trap, then tumbles in after it.

*Thud............. CRASH!*

The two arrancar approach the edge and blankly stare down into the pit.

"Leave it be." Szayel picks up the metal baton from the floor and places it atop the now bare table. "I expect him to still be in there when I return. He's lucky that I'm running late. Lucky for now... that is."

Szayel's lip curls with mild indignation. We musn't keep Aizen-sama waiting, shall we?

He looks down at his hand and notices for the first time that he is bleeding.

"Oh, dear... what a shame," he says, and sticks the manicured finger into his mouth. He tastes the bitter poison mingled with his blood.

Mmmm, yummy..... he thinks, and with a dramatic twirl, exits the laboratory.

The slit that made up his eyes began to widen, foreshadowing to the young captain the seriousness of the matter they were about to discuss.

"Hitsugaya-taichou, Certain events that transpired over the past few weeks have caught my attention. Things that may seem insignificant at first, but it would be best to make sure."

"As of late, I have been detecting trace amounts of reiatsu coming in and out of the Sereitei, to which location I am not certain of. This could be nothing, but then again it has been happening more and more frequently."

"Nonetheless I want you to look into this matter. Once we certify the nature of this slight incongruity, I will be more at ease."

He looks at white-haired kid straight in the eye.

"Shall you accept?"

Matsumoto wandered around after Renji. At first, she enjoyed his attempts to look as if he knew where he was going. Various districts and hours of walking later, she was bored and tired. Irritated, she watched Renji giggle nervously.

"You have no idea how to get us out of here, have you?" She demanded loudly, crossing her arms in front of her. "Do you even know what district we are in?" Matsumoto glared at him for a few moments, then leapt upwards, rapidly climbing the tree.

Standing on the topmost branches, she could see most of the surrounding areas. And noticed something familiar in the far distance - the old shack she used to live in. Her lips curved into a gentle smile... she knew where she was.

Noitora woke up to see Stark talking to Ulquiorra, "wow Aizen-sama still isn't here yet, i guess i can't waste my time here, might as well not sit down" Noitora mummered as he stood up and stood by the entrance. "I'll wait for more people to come through this door, Aizen will obviously be last" Noitora frowned and began to doze off again.

As Hisana eats her food she hear foots steps and is coruious as she hears what it seems to be a female voice.

I wonder if Rukia is back? I have worried. Byakuya-sama will be pleased.

Hisana wonders to whre the voice takes her and arrives in the Kitchen to see Rukia and Ichigo.

"Ah Rukia you back i see, Oh hello Ichigo-sama" she smiles

As Halibel

Halibel walks into the meeting room. She finds her seat and sits in it. It seems others are already here before her and notices others are not.

So many are rude to Aizen-sama they should already be here.

She then sits quietly until the meeting begins.

Noitora woke up to the smell of wet marker flooding his nose, "what the hell!" he shouted as he put his hand up to his face he rubbed of some of the marker. He quicly rubbed the rest of then surveyed the room "who the hell did this?" he then saw Yammi holding the marker he began to walk over swearing under his breath, "I'll teach you to mock your superiors" he said as he reached his chair.......

"Nee-san!" she exclaims, hurrying towards her sister. "How are you? And how is Nii-sama? And the baby? I was making food because we just finished to train and we're kind of hungry," she explained.

Oh, I wonder if I should tell her what happened... after all, so many people saw us, maybe it'd be best if she learned it from me rather than from some random people...

He exclaimed from his seat as he waited for the other espada to respond to his impatient exclamation.......

Matsumoto wandered around after Renji. At first, she enjoyed his attempts to look as if he knew where he was going. Various districts and hours of walking later, she was bored and tired. Irritated, she watched Renji giggle nervously.

"You have no idea how to get us out of here, have you?" She demanded loudly, crossing her arms in front of her. "Do you even know what district we are in?" Matsumoto glared at him for a few moments, then leapt upwards, rapidly climbing the tree.

Standing on the topmost branches, she could see most of the surrounding areas. And noticed something familiar in the far distance - the old shack she used to live in. Her lips curved into a gentle smile... she knew where she was.


**Frowns and thinks** 'I have lost the stupid bet'

Growls "We could just go back the way we came and start over or...."

**is interupted by Matsumoto climbing a tree**

Shouts up "What are you doing?"

Watches Stark draw on Grimmjow and Noitora's faces, then gets distracted by Halibel walking into the room. Continues picking his nose only to get interrupted by Noitora stalking threateningly towards him.

"Who the hell put this here?" Yammi growled, suddenly noticing the offending item beside his other hand. "I didn't come near you, Noitora. Who wants to anyway."

Frowns at GJ calling him a nitwit, but decides to keep quiet and avoid further trouble. His nose clean, he proceeded to pick his left ear.

Watches in amusement as Renji huffed his way up the tree. "What's wrong, Renji? You never climbed trees as a child?" She taunted, then looked out at her former old shack again.

Szayel takes his finger from his mouth and cringes. The skin is plump and taut, struggling to contain the swelling that has just doubled the size of the appendage. An odd purple color marks the area around the wound, as well as a series of fresh teeth marks from Szayel himself.

"Oh my... you are a naughty one, aren't you..."

He smiles a bit as he thinks of the implications that such an attack would have were he able to replicate and magnify it.

What a fun little toy that's going to be...

He suddenly see Aaro walking towards him. A faint pang of embarrassment hits him, and Szayel quickly pulls his sleeve over the wound.

"Hello, there, Aaroniero," he says in the suavest voice he can manage. The false air succeeds in boosting his confidence, yet he still can't help but hide his hand behind his back. "You're looking spiffy, as usual."

He quickly shoots Aaroniero a nervous glance.

Szayel chuckles at the compliment to his hair and unconsciously runs his hand through the pink locks.

"Ah, yes. That poor shinigami was quite the specimen, I must say. You must feel very lucky to have such talent inside of you-- I must study it one of these days."

He looks at the mask covering Aaroniero's elongated head and can't help but laugh to himself, but he knows what his companion will look like once they get into the shade.

What does that matter anyway... the fool is wearing RUFFLES, of all things. I look fabulous.

They walk in silence for a minute or so before finally reaching the meeting room.

Szayel steps aside and motions towards the door in a sweeping fashion.

"After you, my compadre."

The Commander had an incredibly sense for detecting reiatsu even the slightest trace. Hitsugaya had felt feint amounts of reiatsu but nothing significant enough to be concerned about. However with the revelation that Yamamoto sou-taichou wanted him to investigate the matter, the ryoka must have an incredible ability to mask their reiatsu.

"They couldn't have entered through the senkaimon could they? I'll do my best to look into the matter"

"Oh the baby, the baby kicked, its only kicked once but that must that the baby is fine, Byakuya is great too hes been wondering where you have been though and well as myself"

Hisana hears footsteps.

"I wonder if thats him now...?" she turned to look and called out "We are in the kitchen dear, Rukia's returned"

Halibel looked around once more and noticed that everyone had arrived but Aizen-sama.

It must be something very important if he is making us wait. I wish the others would stop complaining he is Aizen-sama after all, they should show some respect.

"You have a black smudge on your face....er anyhow we might aswell get to the point. I plan to take some of you to Soul Society, I know it seems impossible but I will have you impersonate members of my division. There are plenty of reasons for this but it is a risky operation. This means that anyone who can not behave or contain themselves is not welcome. I would also like to add that if you are selected to come, one slip up would most likely cost you your life."

*Smiles.*

"But we won't have to worry about that now will we?"

He turned to Grimmjow to hear him speak about smelling the air, "I'm sure me and Grimmjow could have some fun there, without getting out of hand" he said grining widely.

[Riekie]

*Grimmjow turns his head to Noitora and adds:*

''Yes Aizen...Noitora and I can surely have fun there..as long as we keep an eye out for eachother, right Noitora?'' he says with his famous grin.

*then turns his head to Stark*

''What are you? Aizen's latest pet? I thought that seat was reserved for Ulquiorra?''

*Ignores the pet remark*

"It looks like I'll have to keep an eye on you two while we are there. Just in case you start a disturbance and I have to clean up the mess."

''Who says you have to clean up the mess? we never stated we'd start trouble..btw..you're sounding paranoid Stark...maybe you should just stay in HM and play with Telsa..I think that would do you good.''

Noitora responded to Grimmjow "Right!, No problem Aizen - Sama" He said putting emphasis on Sama. Then he turned to Stark and looked at him with a small smirk, "You know your gonna go to sleep when you get there stark" He said.......

Noitora looked at Grimmjow, he hoped that both of them made it to SS, they were gonna have alot of fun. He then began thinking of his presentation, "i guess i'll have to convince aizen that i need to go" he sadi grimmly.

''because I am Grimmjow..part of the Espada and loyal. You can leave SS to me..I promise (<--huge emphasis on promise) that I will fight for your sake Aizen and if anyone stands in your way I will..well..you know what would happen to them.''

'' I am sure we can keep things civil in SS while it's needed..not much that can turn out bad..right?!''

*ended his presentation and puts his feet back up on the table*

''Btw..when do we leave?''

"Well i won't mind going next Aizen" Noitora said. He straightened up in his chair waiting for Aizen to tell him to begin his presentation.

*Glares at Grimmjow from where he is making tea.*

"Grimmjow, I am making tea, you have five minutes and it's going to have to be better than that."

*Takes a sip of tea.*

"Well okay then Noitora if you think you are ready then go ahead."

*Sits down and waits.*

Noitora thinks to himself "damn it has to be better than Grimm's, i didn't put that muchwork into it" He then turned to Aizen and said " Well the question is not why should i go but WhY shouldn't i go? I mean i will have no problem there, and really do you think Yammi, aaroniro, and szael can stand the Shinigami captain's spirit pressure, and (mohawk guy) is gonna be busy meditating doing nothing to help" Noitora said in slurred tones.

[Riekie]

*stares angrily at Aizen..but then cools down alittle*

''what do you want me to say? hey man..I am going to be suuuch a good boy..I'll almost turn into Ulquiorra and become your latest pet..just for your sake? I'll do what you'll ask me to in SS..maybe Noitora and I will have some fun in SS..but nothing worth killing over''.

*thinks* Gah..it's tough getting on Aizen's good side..

*gets agitated while waiting for Aizens response/confirmation*

Matsumoto glanced over her shoulder - Renji was still trying to catch up to her? She wasn't even running that fast... she sighed. If she had been racing Gin he'd have run past her by now and maybe even thrown in a taunting smile. Briefly wonders what Gin was doing now before sliding to a stop in front of the building. It was a nice building, even up-close... it had real bedrooms!

He watched Aizen enter the room, talk briefly about the mission and request a presentation on why each of them should go. Fidgets uncomfortably - he really didn't need to remind everyone else that he was the lowest ranking espada here.

Yammi turns to Arroniro and whispers "Do you want to go on this mission?" Watches Grimmjow and Noitora being dramatic, listens to Aizen shoot down Grimmjow's speech, and sighs. Gloomily, Yammi decided to prepare a speech anyway but isn't confident that he'll be selected.

Matsumoto glanced over her shoulder - Renji was still trying to catch up to her? She wasn't even running that fast... she sighed. If she had been racing Gin he'd have run past her by now and maybe even thrown in a taunting smile. Briefly wonders what Gin was doing now before sliding to a stop in front of the building. It was a nice building, even up-close... it had real bedrooms!

Thinks 'Pfft, I can't believe she won'

"Well here it is, loads of kids used to stay here, we had to share beds. Some even had to sleep on the floor"

"Me and my friends used to have to steal stuff and then share it out equally with everyone, it was really hard to get food. He watched Aizen enter the room, talk briefly about the mission and request a presentation on why each of them should go. Fidgets uncomfortably - he really didn't need to remind everyone else that he was the lowest ranking espada here.

Yammi turns to Arroniro and whispers "Do you want to go on this mission?" Watches Grimmjow and Noitora being dramatic, listens to Aizen shoot down Grimmjow's speech, and sighs. Gloomily, Yammi decided to prepare a speech anyway but isn't confident that he'll be selected.

Soul Society...Kuchiki girl is living there. Perhaps I should go there and pay her a visit.

The Commander had an incredibly sense for detecting reiatsu even the slightest trace. Hitsugaya had felt feint amounts of reiatsu but nothing significant enough to be concerned about. However with the revelation that Yamamoto sou-taichou wanted him to investigate the matter, the ryoka must have an incredible ability to mask their reiatsu.

"They couldn't have entered through the senkaimon could they? I'll do my best to look into the matter"

The old man allows a slight smile to escape his lips, barely visible underneath his thick mustache.

If only it were that simple.

"Ryoka? Perhaps. That is a good theory, though if that were the only possibility, then I wouldn't have summoned a captain to perform such a mundane task."

"Whoever is doing this is very skilled," he stops to pause for a moment, still gathering his thoughts.

"Quite possibly... as skilled as any captain of the Gotei." he says with concern. He gives the kid a look, hoping that he would read in-between the lines to catch what he was saying.

"I have said enough. It is getting late, and I must retire."

He turns his chair around to face the large window, allowing himself a few moments to take in the scenery of the Sereitei during the sunset.

"Arigato, Hitsugaya-taichou. You may be dismissed."

Matsumoto shrugged dismissively. “That’s why I give food directly to kids who really need it, not because they just like the taste. And I’m happy to hover nearby so as to let them eat in safety.”

She quietly led the way into another District, and then followed a familiar path to an isolated tiny shack. “Here we are, Renji. Wat'cha think?”

Listens as Aaroniro confirms that he is interested to go on the mission. Sighs and thinks:

Great, another competitor. I really don't think I'll be chosen, why do I even have to make the stupid speech? Everyone knows I'm the weakest in this room, still gotta rub my nose into it.

Watches Noitora and Grimmjow make grand speeches yet again, notices Aizen's expression, and groans under his breath. Lamers.

Renji walked bedside matsumoto listening to everything she had to say. The comment about the beds made him wonder how hard she had it. He frowned. She mentioned only giving food to kids with reiatsu and she had a point even if he didn't agree.

They continued walking in silence until Matsumoto offered something about her childhood. He listened intently and was shocked, he had been one of them gangs of kids that she had probably been scared of, although he never attacked another kid for there food.

He watched her shrug it off, she told him she stayed near by incase they were attacked and then found out they were there at her old home.

While looking at the small shack he apologised, he wasnt sure why, maybe because he was one of the gangs of kids who took everything they could get there hands on. He fellt guilty that maybe he had once scared her.

He was shocked at the condition of the shack it was alot worse then his place. It looked rather delicate and he presumed it didn't offer much protection from the weather.

**Thinks**She must of had it really hard.

Trying to smile he said "I guess I will be doing your paperwork for two weeks then"

I'm the lowest-ranked Espada and know I'm not the smartest or the strongest, but I deal with this situation every day, so I think that I can behave in Soul Society according to your requirements."

F*** that sounds so damn lame, so begging, so Ulquiorra. After this meeting, I'm gonna go beat something up just to wash this scummy taste off my tongue.

His smile brightens, atleast he had not scared her but maybe he had scared other kids. He looks up and sightly frowns at the mention of Gin, was that Ichimaru Taicho he wondrered. He wasn't going to ask though, it was her business.

When she metioned the dropping of the bet he grinned, he still had some paperwork left in his office and had the slight feeling that when his taicho found he was gone that there would be more.

He smiled at her comment about her Taicho, he was sure that he wouldn't drop Matsumoto, even though he complained about her Renji was sure the 10the Taicho was fond of her (in a taicho/fukitaicho way of course).

"Thanks, it not like I would of had much to do anyway, your Taicho is obsessed with paperwork", he tells her while smirking

Hears her saying they should go.

"Yeah the kids are probably waiting for you and we don't want anyone getting suspicious"

Thinks, 'Plus if my taicho sees I am missing I might meet senbonzakura'. He shudders at the thought.

She led the way. Some time later, Matsumoto began to recognise a few familiar faces and started handing out little bundles of cooked rice she'd prepared. She also handed out a half-empty jar of ointment after hearing that someone was sick.

"All done. Let's get back before they send out search parties, ne, Renji?" Matsumoto called, then quickly kissed him lightly on his cheek. "Thanks for the company tonight."

Renji followed Matsumoto all the while tending to his wounded ego and watched as she hands out the bags of rice and ointment. She really cared about the kids well being and he enjoyed seeing their happy faces.

She began speaking to him he turned to face her.

"Yeah, we don't want anyone to worry"

Then she shocked him by kissing him on the cheek, he blushed furiously to the point where you could not tell where his skin finished and his hair began.

He began to stutter, 'I.. I.. It was no problem, I enjoyed myself."

He began to walk back towards his sereitei and gradually the colour of his face subsided. He thought about tonight, maybe Matsumoto would let him come with her more often, it was nice to see the kids faces light up at the sign of food. It reminded him of his childhood.

He walked slowly back with Matsumoto until they came to the point where they went there sepperate ways.

"Can I hep you again next time?" he asked with a slight tinge of uncertainty in his voice.

She then turned to Byakuya and thought of a response to his question but really didn't know the answer.

Waving, Matsumoto headed towards her Division, went to her office, propped her feet up on her desk and began paying some attention to the neglected piles of paper on her desk. (note: I think I'm on a different time schedule from speedy's Hitsu)

Notices that Aizen has a slightly annoyed expression, slouches lower in his chair and tries not to attract attention to himself. Pays close attention to everyone else's behaviour and speeches.

Hitsugaya sees Hinamori's smiling face and can't help but smile back.

*follows Hinamori out of the office*

*Looks at Hisana in shock. Changes his expression back at Ichigo's request and is glad when he later changes his mind.*

*Thinks* I wasn't offering him any way.

"Okay so me and Hisana it is."

*Thinks* Why Rukia wastes her time with that fool I don't know and I cant believe Hisana is still mad about the lake incident.

*Looks at Ichigo when he offers a dinner invitation.*

"No."

*Goes to the kitchen and orders tea from the staff. It is quickly delivered. He takes it to the dining room and sits down annoyed.*

Hisana notices the tension between Byakuya and Ichigo, mainly from Byakuya's side. She knew that Ichigo was a fine person, evne if he did seem a little over the top at times.

I wish they'd get along sometimes, i really don't see the bolt in the iron in this whole situtation.He was even helping Rukia with training he should be a little more greatful but i guess he is very bus and can't help her as well and i too am a burden placed upon him.

Hisana sighs as she can never find a solution to the Kuchiki family problems.

"You could have offered him just one drink you know he did help Rukia out after all" Hisana says in a soft tone. "And dear i was only joking..."

She took her tea and sipped it.

“What? Why would I offer anything to that boy! All he has done is distract Rukia from more important things! She can’t even be at home for five minutes because she is out cavorting with that loser. You are pregnant and I can’t be here all the time. What if something happened? I don’t blame Rukia...I blame him. I would rather he didn’t even look at my house let alone enter it. As for your joke...not funny!

*Leans back into his chair.*

*Thinks* Maybe I got carried away...but she made me look stupid in front of him and Rukia...like I made her fall in the lake.

"What important things has he distracted her form at all, if anything he has helped her a great deal with her missions otherwise by now she probabily would have died, I know that i am capable of looking after myself thank you and if i do get ill this house is parading with maids i would be fine, and if thats they way is is maybe i shouldn't have gotten pregnant and had this baby in the first place!" she said as tears began to form in her eyes.

She then stormed out of the room.

"As Ulquiorra said it would further benefit your cause. But also I would like to go for my own benefits too. Like learning a new culture and have a first hand experience as to how our enemies work. That is all Aizen-sama."
