I think she will. I don't like the idea of her having already achieved Bankai - what I love about her (as a fighter) it that she doesn't have insane!Reiatsu nor mad fighting skills yet she tries her best. Rukia knows her boundaries, after all, and I love her for it.
But, yeah, I think she will, eventually, pwn Aizen's army with a sudden, Shirayuki-aided Bankai she will have achieved in some weird way. I'm currently writing a fic about it - should be finished soon. ^__^

When Rukia achieves bankai, I hope there's something like a physical transformation.
Do you think our goddess will achieve Bankai? Or has she already done so?
I bet she will eventually achieve it, but I really hope it is something different from most of the other Bankai we have seen. I think it would be awesome if her Bankai ended up being something that augments the strength of her kidou, because kidou is underused and she's shown that she is pretty damn good at it. :cool:

But since to this point, her Zanpakutou powers seem to be space oriented, rather than time (ie, Ichigo's Bankai gives him unmatchable speed, Ikkaku's is just raw power, and stuff like that). As quoted from Wikipedia:
With the command "first dance, white moon" (初の舞, 月白, some no mai, tsukishiro?),[11] Rukia can create a circle of influence around her intended target and freeze everything within the circle from the ground upwards until it reaches the sky. The command "next dance, white ripple" (次の舞, 白漣, tsugi no mai, hakuren?)[12] fires a massive wave of ice from Sode no Shirayuki's blade. Finally, the command "third dance, white sword" (参の舞, 白刀, san no mai, shirafune?)[13] allows Rukia to reforge her zanpakutō with ice particles if it is broken, piercing through objects in its path.

I think KT knows that if he dissapoints us...there will lots of :mad: fans to answer to. XD I'm sure he won't though. Definately should be powerful, though. Rukia is pretty advanced enough in her Shikai stage...she's got her three dances which kick major booty. Most shinigamis in Shikai stage only have one attack (from what we've seen...) while Rukia has three dances. Anyways, I'll let you guys do the making up and I'll give my thoughts. X3

Have we discussed crack pairing in Rukia FC before? If not I am interested to know who is your favorite crack partner for Rukia. :D
Let me start (Oh! Oh! Be prepare for innate ramblings ahead :eek: ) On my part, I’ll will not include Ichigo, Renji, Kaien and Byakuya – be it romantic, friendship, sibling-like, their relationships with Rukia are canon and untouchable, ‘nuff said. ;)
Bleach has an abundant of hot guys (not that I am complaining :) ) I have to admit that I don’t find it hard to ship Rukia with any of these hotties but right now I am quite taken with Ishida-Rukia crack pairing.
I am currently re-reading early Bleach volumes, I love the part where Ishida tried to save Rukia and lied about being there, and Rukia knew right away he was lying, despite the gravity of the situation, I laughed at the expression on her face and her comment on how bad a liar Ishida is. :)
It struck me how similarity they are; both are neat, well groomed, polite, well mannered (kinda like Bleach version of the Stepfort’s children). They have distant relationship with their guardians. They don’t make friends easily -- lots of common ground for relationship.
Then there’s the dress that he made her, a brand new beautiful ladylike dress while for the others he only modified their tops/shirts. Can’t blame Orihime for arriving at the wrong conclusions about his feelings (sigh! I missed that cute and kooky Orihime! :( ).
I find it interesting that unlike Ichigo, Ishida seems to think of her as his girl classmate rather than his enemy, the shinigami. It may be just an old fashioned gentleman notion on his part -- “I do not make enemy with women, especially with fragile little girls”.
But in all honesty it’s hard for me to visualize Ishida and Rukia in full bloom romantic and sexual relationship, in the manga, Ishida often treated Rukia as one would a friend’s girlfriend. If you know what I mean I think theirs as being a sweet, platonic relations, I could see them contently sitting side by side drawing -- he, a fabulous gown with matching cape and her, smiling bunnies with lots of hearts. :D

My all time favorite is actually GinXRukia (most canon crack pairing :D ), I also like RukiaXUruhara and RukiaXUkitake.

And yes Rukia HAS to have the best. Which is Ichigo IMO. ;)
Also on a side note I say Gin with Matsumoto too though I can't see them having a completely happy ending. Something bittersweet I think ^.^

RenRuki is fine in my opinion (a member of the FC), but I do think Rukia thinks of him more as a brother NOW. I'm a supporter of the theory that she'd eventually fall in love with him if he, instead of laughing hysterically and trying to be cheerful about her becoming a Kuchiki (trademark by KuboTite xD), pulled her in his manly hands and declared his undying love for her, telling her "NO WAI will I let you go, Rukia, I love you and I want you to spend the rest of our immortal lives with me. one eleven. 11."
All in all, I think he missed his chance and that he realizes it. I love them the way they are now - but you have to admit, him sitting on Ichi's bed beside her holding a hand on her chibidrawings was the cutest thing ever. <3

Anyway, I am waiting nervously for the next spoilers to see if Rukia is going to make an appearance, seing this is a 'double issue' and there will not a Bleach release next week! If KT is being naughty he'll gives a glimpse of her at the end, imagine reaction will be if he has Gin or Aizen standing next to her fallen body aaaargh :eek: Anyway, will come back and read all new posts and join in the EverythingRukia fun later. p.s. Awesome angry Rukia pic! We should use attached it when we reply to those Rukia-Hater posts! :p

I'm currently deprived of Rukia (well, I think most us do), so I join this forum to post EVERYTHING about her.
Since school makes me suffer (and KT also frustrates me becuase of lack of Rukia), I want to get all out in this forum.

Since her companions do not yet know that Orihime can bring the dead back (sounds so creepy e?), I for one would like to see Ichigo's and Renjie's reaction when they figure out she is dead, so maybe for a couple of minutes she could be dead... and then Orihime brings her back of course.
Come to think of it, it was a trident that hit her, that's like 3 swords in 1 hit.
But Orihime is there and Rukia i think is too important a character to die, and some very important things about her have yet to be revealed.

Yeah, Rukia won't be dead for good (that is, if she is dead), but she she's too good/big of a character for a simple "Double KO." She would have to die dramatically. Dramatic would be the only fitting end for such an actress XD. And she can't die alone. She has to pass her heart on to ICHIGO!!! er someone...

And anyways, they never said she was dead. She IS alive. Believe it~! Most likely severely injured still but clinging to life till help arrives. She WAS hurt pretty badly in her battle with the Espada. But she is tough and strong and I believe in her. *nods*

Firstly, how does Rukia keep her hair like that? Ah it is one of the many mysteries of anime, how characters can keep there hair in a certain style. XD Kido is an interesting idea XD.

Indeed, Rukia's hair is one of the mysteries in the manga world. Perhaps Soul Society is more advanced than we may think (heck thay have hollow detector a.k.a keitai).
Or, there may be some kind of parlor in Soul Society, or Rukia was receiving special hair treatment from her personal hairdresser via Byakuya, so that she will be able to wear a keinseikan someday, as well (Ichigo: NOOOOOOO!!!!) :rofl

Sorry this is going to be a post and run thing but I cannot resist putting my 2 cent worth on why Rukia's hair stays the way it is. It's the same reason why her unmentionable (that's underpants for the clueless ;) ) manages to stay hidden no matter how short her skirts was or how high she kicked --- it's divine intervention, one reserves only on Goddess of Rukia status, he! he! he! :D Later!

Yeah, and Rukia wears skirts when she's in the living world. She's a girl,all right, and the more I think Ichigo really sees this feminity of her. I think Renji claimed in his flashback during his fight with Ichigo that Rukia speaks like a man, and yet she still has this air of dignity in her. That's one of the things that I loved about her. She's strong, and still has her feminine side that looks fragile to me. :cool:

This is because of a combination of Rukia's hair = love & Soul Society's amazing hair product line. I mean Hitsu's hair doesn't stay like that on its own:p
