The fan club was so in active I thought it disappeared but I love him so I said "Fuck that! This injustice can not be allowed any longer!"

I do disagree with one wee thing. If it wasn't for Rukia Ichigo would have been have been eaten by fishbone D. And Orihime would have been eaten by her brother.

But he's responsible for everything else great.

Lol I didn't like Nii-sama at all back then. I didn't like him till the pendelum arc. He called Rukia his pride. Then he was cool and I was suddenly able to see he's hot. His eyes look dead to me.

Ichigo is natural. Bleachheads have nothing on his glorious mane. I would love to run my fingers in it. I wish I could meet Kubo. I would kiss the hands that created my Ichigo.

I get so mad when people say he is boring or he isn't flashy. What the hell are the looking at. Just because he doesn't have an elaborate costume ...just goes to show their is beauty in simplicity. Although there is nothing simple about him

You are totally right! As we all remember Orihime was being tracked by her brother who had been turned into a hollow. So if Ichigo never became a shinigami, Orihime and Tatsuki for that matter, would have been killed. Also Ichigo himself would have most likey been eaten by grandfisher When he visited his mother's grave later on.

Yes, Morita-san did a very good-job voicing Ichigo in the Japanese anime (i have no comment on the english voice actor) - he captured the character so well. No wonder Kubo-sama is fond of Morita-san too.

The english voice actor for Ichigo is not bad. There are definetely some worse voice actors...and there are some better ones as well.
Personally, i can't stand the english dub. But that may be just because I'm so used to hearing Morita and co. voice bleach that when they talk in the dub, it just doesn't feel right.

Johnny Bosch (Is that how you spell it?) does a pretty respectable job...but it isn't my cup of tea, since he just doesn't sound like Ichigo to me.

It's not so much that he doesn't do a great job. I just feel like he his interpretation is bit off. It isn't his acting and the dialog changes don't help

For example...

In 84 when Dark/Darku said ...Don't run Original reply was "Like I'll run" I forgot what the change was but it was but it wasn't a "I run from no one reply" And instead made him sound like "I'm getting away! I will!" So not like Ichigo. Even if he faces fear. He will still fight and talk shit!

Another example. When explaining the power of Getsuga Tensho to Byakuya. He made it seem like Ichigo was simple awestruck and amazed he just fired it. When he said it with confidence and matter of factly.

It's stuff like that that makes me feel Ichigo character is not exactly Ichigo in the English interpretation. I do think he does the Hollow very well. Since I read the Manga I know him better than the either Anime version of him. Morita-San does him best.

They are both good actors Morita-san reads the Manga. He does it to try to understand "Ichigo's Emotions"~ Is a Morita Fan Girl

Whereas JYB said he does not and never heard of it till he auditioned for the part. When he went he found out just how big the role was.

I think that is a contributing factor. I do think JYB does the HOLLOW just like The Hollow...

Ashido, even if it wasn't the scene that made me Ichigo fan, it was the one that changed my view on him. That's the most badass Ichigo scene. He is not just handsome or hot. He is really, really badass. The scene that made me respect him.
I did love him before :) But I came to adore him back then. It's strange how only a single panel can change my opinion. He was cute and harsh teenager, he was closed, he's suffered a lot. But when I saw him so badass, I knew he'd grown.

@ poshpurple, ashido fan, Bleach Addict: Regarding Ichigo's age: Canon-wise, the story began late spring/early summer with him 15 yrs old, and his birthday's in July, so he must've spent his sweet 16th either being beaten up underground by Urahara or running away from shinigami somewhere in Soul Society. So now in the HM arc, he's 16 with a few months on him.

But there's still no way in heck he's just 16. He's too mature, too responsible, too kind-hearted, too well-built, too smexy, too... Ichigo. *fangirl swoon*

Althought Ichigo was really badass while with the Orihime moment, we had it for fun purposes and it was much more of a comedic scene.

Except the Hougyoku one when I drooled like crazy, I love love love EVERY time he screams, scowls or makes that stupid retarted face "I-have-no-idea-what-you-are-babblying-about". He is adorable and he makes me wanna hug him.

He asked me, if Kubo allowed me to design a complete outfit (head to toe) for Ichigo for some chapter cover and he gave me these themes to follow: Black &red, Green tan & white, sky blue royal blue and white (or sliver),
downtown background, half normal real world the other half an opened battlefield of any kind that you want (as long as it represents a battlefield ichi's been in), or no bg
what would my personal outfit choice and bg choice for an ichigo-centered chapter cover be?

you're also alllowed to add anything else that shares some sort of symbolism to our Ichi-chan :flirt

So I'd prefer his Shinigami clothes with a lot of blood on him cuz blood makes him sexy. Also, his haird would be very dark orange and his expression will be angsty yet tough.

If I had those themes, I'd choose the white (or silver) and no backgrounds. I hate them..

Only a Dreamer: When I think of that, I picture a half real world, shinigami world background, with half of him in the Shinigami world with a partial hollow mask and smirking cruelly. The other half would be in the real world with a scowl, dressed in human attire.
The colour theme would be black and red, so that on one side, the 'lines' used for drawing would be red against black, and the other would be black against red.
This probably doesn't make sense when I write it though.

Ichigo has been a unique shounen hero since the beginning. most other shounen manga that I've read have a hero who already have some basic power or ability that makes them 'already' strong.
Ichigo on the other hand could only see spirits, and couldn't help them in anyway which made him feel weak. we all saw him gain powers, and we all saw him as he porgressed from this awkward teenage boy to this strong and capable young man.
not to mention he's hilarious and has the funniest facial expressions in the world :noes
also, i don't know if it's just me, but he seems the most innocent shounen hero that I've read :XD (innocent as in a total prude...which makes him adorable :inlove)

Ichigo's lovely abs were available for a brief glimpse when he's bankai training - the scene where he gets into the healing hot springs. He looks adorable with slightly wet hair.

I like the fact that he carries girls like inanimate objects. Of course I thought it was ridiculous at first, suspending Rukia from her waistband and hoisting Orihime like a burlap sack, but it just means he views saving them as the right thing to do, and not as a way to get in their good graces. It's an extremely naive/innocent but noble act.

He treated them as his friends and comrades 2. He was too busy being a hero bent on rescuing another woman to really pay attention to other women 3. Had this innocence about him that made him want to runaway and scream when seeing a body of a naked woman (Yoruichi :heehee) 4. He's still a kid, and women both frighten and excite him :noes

That's what's been bugging me since the manga left the Ichi Ulq fight. I mean he just recovered from fighting two espada, and those two are really nothing compared to how strong Ulquiorra must be. :headscratch
The most reasonable way to go is to give Ichigo some power up, but then some people say he's had enough and that his vaizard powers should be enough.
I honestly think that he should, b/c he's used his vaizard powers on ulqui before and lost...badly. in his current state i really don't know if he could win :sweat

*Comes to bury self in fan club. Need to be around Ichigo lovers because negative Ichigo comments are seriously bad for my health.:cry They cause my eyes to bleed and literally I choke of foul Ichigo hating,and doubting words. Hollow-kind of. Hichigo is sexy. I love his colours. But Ichigo's sweeter and has some eyes to die for. So I'd choose him over Hichigo any time.
Oh me too ! As much as I like Shiro, there is no way I would abandon Ichi for him, not now not later
Good-hearted-Oh definitely given how much he's sacrificed for others. He's also compassionate too. He just doesn't like showing it on the surface.
It's an aspect of his nature that I love about him since the first chapter, when he's first show to us fighting these guys and then we learn that it's for the little girl ghost ... so sweet !
Overprotective-The most obvious part of his personality ever. It's not always good for him and others though. I agree that he's very overprotective especially of Rukia :fu
