Well, I could be stubborn and insist that GinRang is in a class of it's own, but after some consideration, I would actually say Hinamori and Hitsugaya. Sadly, Hinamori is the Gin in this equation. NO, I don't think she's evil in anyway, but Gin--> Acting EBIL as Hinamori--> Loving Aizen. It's just so much a part of who they are that the poor saps on the other half of the 'ship are neglected. Gin may be in a different dimension from Rangiku, but poor Hitsugaya has to deal with Hinamori being stuck in her little fantasy world. I'm actually quite upset Kubo's left us hanging on her fate for so long.

Hello! May I join this FC? ^_^ I may have put in some long analysis in the old version of the thread that I'm too lazy to search for XD In the mean time...is it not difficult to relate one pairing to another? It is an interesting analysis and gets you thinking...but at the same time isn't love of two completely different from love of another two? That's what makes the love between those two as opposed to others, is it not? Or...something? XD Feh, just jumbling words.
If anything, perhaps HitsuHina. Something about one refusing to accept their love of the other, or accepting it but not it's possiblity, reminds me of eachother. Not exactly that one each abandons the other, but rather their individual situations won't exactly let themself be with the other. Say, Toushirou may not allow himself with Hinamori for the pain it would cause her. Perhaps his own if, in the dark world of the Gotei 13, something were to happen to Momo; the other way around is also plausible. Likewise, Gin distances himself from Matsumoto to try to distract away the pain if he admited his love for her. Either that, or the distance is to ease the pain for Matsumoto's sake. This may be one of the reasons why Gin went with Aizen: He may have understood that his position/personality troubles her, so doing an unforgivible act may be for Matsumoto's sake. A little bit of "The World Ends With You" (DS Game) action might be what's going on here, but as with any pairing anything is possible and it all comes down to jumbles of crazy yet possible theories. XD Perhaps we shall wait and see...?

Hi! may i join the FC? I love GinRan the most in bleach.

why do i love the couple? simple: they love each other. the rest is another story.

people always doubted Gin whether he loves Rangiku or not. but, to me, its very clear in the story. there's no mushy words(which sometimes is boring) but the eyes, the body language and the memories says everything. i love Kubo's style in defining a couple, be it IchiRuki, mmmmmmmm and other couples(haha;p i dont really care abt others)--it makes us think. and absorb them and feel it!(no im not pyscho or watever!:P)

it comes to me as a surprise at 1st. out of all the characters in Bleach, Gin and Ran? and i fall in love straight away with the 2 of em. their bond is too deep. but they walked on different paths. but that doesnt break the bond, even makes it stronger. and like every1 else, i love the Goodbye part. one of the best moments of GinRan.

But theres a question i always asked myself.......does everyone in SS knows about them?

Now that I have finally stopped being horrified over Ran's poor tummy and started thinking rationally, all I have to say (besides "where the hell are you, Gin!?") is that I should have seen this coming. Rangiku ranks highly in the "most beloved Bleach character list", not only by the fans but by the cast itself. If he wanted to show us the true horrors of a war (which fans have been asking for for a while), he couldn't have just killed Momo (which almost everybody expected and even encouraged), or somebody like Toshiro who, while loved by the fans, doesn't hold such a big place in the hearts of other shinigamis (he rarely interacts with them). Besides, fangirls would've had his head. So yeah, Ran-chan was a very logical choice from an author's PoV... But I should stop speaking like she was already dead, lest I jinx her (though I don't see how she would survive that, one mustn't lose hope).

If Hisagi and Kira don't get their derrières handed back to them next episode and it really was shipping foreshadowing, though, I'm sending Kubo-sensei a lovely, lovely bomb (unless he decides that everybody's Gin's horrified reaction to this is far more interesting than a couple of pwnages, which is totally alright).

My, I really am starting to sound like an intelectual/obsessed/pseudo-grown-up fan... Should I be excited or terrified?

IMO,Gin has always believe in Ran. She's independent, strong and mature. She wouldn't need someone to protect her and while he is away, he believes that she'll be stronger. His faith in Ran's loyalty towards him is also unshakable. and i believe so too. both are loyal to each other, but they chose to walk very different paths~ it doesn't matter really, because their unspoken feelings are far more important. I think the feelings grow more and more gradually, first starting as childhood friends and as time goes by, the feelings grow even stronger. Both of them are aware of it, and that what makes the whole thing more interesting. They are truly a great pair.

As for Ran, even when Gin chose to go to the dark side and HM, she still believe in him. She knows Gin knows what he's doing. She knows he has his own goal and vision, and she just have to wait. what surprise me is that Hitsugaya knows there's something between Gin and Ran. I really didn't see that coming.

I think the ending for this pair will be sad one. A typical ending. Hopefully Kubo concludes everything (every romantic relationship) before he ends the series later.
