New Fallout 3 Screens

Three brand new screenshots from Fallout 3 have been released! ^_^

Fallout 3 uses a system called VATS (Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System) for combat, which lets you pause the action and aim for specific locations on a target. Headshots are understandably harder to pull off but virtually guarantee an instant kill. As you see in one of the screenshots, a successful headshot makes mess.

Looks like it will be great (at least graphically). I'm very impatient to see it as Fallout is my favorite RPG series (although I will need a new PC).
I must admit that when I read that it was going to be a 1st person game, I began to wonder if the game wouldn't eventually be closer to a FPS than to a RPG, in which the player's dexterity would have been more important than the character's but it seems that I was wrong since they have kept the same system for the skills (as seen on the capture with the mutant).
I hope Bethesda will keep the same spirit and ambiance as in the previous episodes (according to the interview, it will be the case) as it was what made Fallout so unique and captivating.
I also wonder when Fallout 3 will take place.
Too bad I don't have enough time to replay the first episodes.

OMG how did I miss this, the first fallout was one of my favourite games ever but wouldn't this be 4? There was the original and then tactics and then that xbox version....@_@ This looks so awesome though, man i loved the first one, i spent half of one school vacation playing that thing haha
