He will join the WAR for sure. I really don't think he will be pwnd so damn easily, after all, Ichigo has a lot of growing up to do, and I really don't think he is @ Ulqui's level quite yet. I think that what will happen will be that Aizen will call upon Ulqui and Ulqui will just have to leave the fight a bit early, or something around those lines. I think that Kubo will hold off on killing him for now... :cookie

Yeah he might wander but unless shinigami change their opinions of hybrids they aren't going to let him. They even discarded their own shinigami who had been made hybrids, willing to destroy them as hollows. If that opinion doesn't change he is never going to be free to do what he wants and will be stuck in Hueco Mundo.

true true but with those 100 yrs Urahara has been working on to solve the problem about the viazard he is bound to have found something and bring change. After this war I am sure SS will change some of their policies. The order of death for the vizards was ordered by central 46 who happen to all be dead. :lmao Old Yama-ji seeked out the help of Urahara who was exiled as well to help the captains into HM, and if he was willing to do that, he may be willing to change some rules for the hybrids. After all not all of the arrancar are dangerous or evil so I think there can be some form of agreement...

So the possibility does exist for Ulqui do be able to do as he wishes... and I think it is pretty likely... i don't know... only time and kubo will tell.

Don't you think though that it would be a bit ironic? Aizen rebelled against SS because he wanted to work on hybrids/make hybrids and has been doing so in secret harming tons of innocent people just to do so. If they had allowed it previously then he wouldn't have had to do that. To allow it once he is defeated would seem a bit silly imo even though I think they should have realised long ago that a hybrid can be ok as long as (in a vizards case) it is in control. Ulquiorra and Nel are good examples of the hollow version as they are capable of reason. It's quite easy to imagine them living normally without disturbing SS.

I thought Aizen rebelled against SS so he would be able to gain more power and "stand in heaven" :aizenpwns not so he could have the freedom to make hybrids. I think the only reason Aizen began to make hybrids is so he can further his own ambitions. After all he's not gonna experiment hybridization on himself lol he has to experiment on others first and make sure that it is safe enough and good enough before he finally decides to use that power for himself or on himself. The vizards and all those other souls were just victims. After he had experimented on breaking the boundaries with normal souls, he turned to experimenting and trying to break the boundaries with hollows. That was all before he had the hougyoku. When he got the hougyoku it is not fully awakened yet so he continues to experiment with the hollows and turns them into arrancar to tests its effects, and get soldiers to do his bidding at the same time. All this time he is working and experimenting only so he can figure out a way to increase his power and break the boundaries that restrict him. (And so that he can be one powerful hot looking god that stands in heaven. :aizenpwns :heehee)

No I don't think that once Aizen is defeated, SS will allow the creation of more hybrids (cuz they might say it will destroy the balance of the Universe or something lol and because it is dangerous). What I think is that they will change their policy or something to find a resonable solution to the problem with the current hybrids (that doesn't involve killing them off!).

It's ok Sol, I'm 100% sure Ulqui wont die. :) If we were talking about Naruto then yeah Ulqui will die but I think once this war is over with we'll see him again. :) We'll probably think he's dead but in the end he'll rise up along with Grimm.

I don't think SS would want to make more but if they need to combat hybrids one would have thought they may need to make themselves hybrids but Kubo's good old power system in Bleach has proven me wrong there...all you need is 2 hands apparently :fpalm Oh well I'm sure whatever happens SS will not accept arrancar even if they do eventually accept the vizards. Makes me wonder what will happen to Nel and maybe Ulquiorra also depending what happens.

I don't think he will die but I don't think that after Hueco Mundo arc ends, he will play a major role in Bleach.
If he dies which I doubt because that's not Kubo's style and because of his rule "popular characters never die", his death would be sad and heartbreaking. Ulquiorra is Ulquiorra after all. He's been to important and such an interesting and mysterious character. He is so popular due to his strange philosophy and weird way of understanding human's feelings and minds.
If everything, his end will be dramatic. I can't picture him as the victim of "heroes always win and kill".

No LUV we haven't yet. Some believe Rudobon and those skull guys (think I spelled his name right) is Ulquiorra's fraccion but who knows. If he is, then Ulquiorra has the most bitchin' fraccion of them all (at least I think so because I like the way Rudobon looks like a santanic skull) which I hope leads to a killer looking release. Hopefully the best of this war. No one knows if Ulquiorra has a fraccion yet but I'm sure we'll find out.

He seems really popular here but I can only base it on things like merchandise, cosplayers, doujinshi, advertisements etc. At Tokyo's biggest convention recently I saw many Ulquiorra cosplayers and he was featured in loads of doujinshi. Doujinshi artists obviously draw what they think will sell (well not all but the most popular doujinshi's are general ones which get printed in the masses and star many characters, Ulq is always in these). He has more merchandise than most people at stores like animate...he's on everything from hand towels to coffee mugs etc. Also they use him on lots of ads, he is on the cover of the new PSP game also.
