A normal day in the life of Rukongai's streets, it's citizens happily enjoyed the fresh outside air of District 40. The distance to Seireitei was close enough to warrant a rapid connection, and far enough to grant enough time before the Shinigami's appeared.

In the middle of all this happiness, a rift in space opened. A wolf-like Hollow emerged from it, walking in an elegant way, he gave a few steps before opening his eyes, and finally said:

"All of you... Dissappear"

Standing on his hind legs, he opened his mouth and sucked dry every single soul of the area. His "Gonzui" left the district almost deprived of life.

"Hey, don't you think you over did it a bit, Farris?"

A gargantuan Gillian, it's head shaped like the one of a fly emerged from a similar drift in space.

"Shut up Bael, do your work"

A Hollow with a pumpkin-head for mask leaped from behind the Gillian. "Jijijiji... Why so serious? There will be tons of delicious Shinigami soon!! JIJIJI!"

"The same goes to you Jack, remember our priority is to entertain the Shinigami, DO NOT GET CARRIED AWAY, OK?"

"Jijiji... You can't spell slaughther without laughter! Why not enjoy it as well?"

"Whatever..."

On his other side, a third drift in space opened. From this Garganta, emerged a Gillian Turtle with it's head located on the edge of it's tail, it quietly watched it's surroundings and kept silent.

"It's not funny if you don't introduce yourself with a cheesy line, Zhe-Quu" A beautiful peacock snapped from behind him.

Zhe-Quu remained silent...

"Let him be, Wysteria... You know he's not the talking type. Now, mind concentrating on the mission?"

An Adjucha shapped like a sheep with a twisted horn was the last one to appear before the drift closed.

"Thanks, Schafe. It's nice seeing someone is mildly interested in our goals. Now, let's hope our beloved Shinigami get the message soon"

At the same time a fourth Garganta opened up behind the quintet, Farris unleashed a powerful enough howl to kill the remaining survivors, and be heard in the distant Seireitei.

0===0

At a different place, in a dark alley of Seireitei, a different Garganta appeared. This was the closest the Arrancars could get to the science division without being detected. From this spot, the Arrancars would be on their own. Their mission was clear: Steal as much communication devices as possible without being noticed. Keep a low profile, and escape shall problem arise.

[So, Arrancars must go into stealth mode and play spy for this mission. Hollows are free to cross the fourth Garganta into Rokungai and fight the incoming Shinigami. So, Happy Haxing ;)]

An urgent hell butterfly message has just been sent to all shinigami currently in Seireitei:

The 40th District of Southern Rukongai has just been attacked by a large group of hollow with a considerable reiatsu level. Upon arriving, they immediately consumed all of the souls in the vicinity.

Due to the severity of the situation and strength of the invading force, we have tentatively declared it to be a war zone. Seireitei’s defenses will be tightened, wartime procedures will be initiated, and an immediate evacuation is being called for the general area.

A regiment of battle-ready soldiers is needed to combat them, led by a captain. Such a blatant attack cannot be ignored; for your honor as a shinigami, and for the honor of Soul Society, rise to fight against this evil. We have the utmost confidence in you.

Objectives:
1. Purify or repel all of the attacking hollows.
2. Limit property destruction and casualties among Soul Society dwellers.
3. If possible, attempt to capture one or more hollows for further interrogation.

A hell butterfly came and gave a message to Shinn, who had just got out of the 2nd division's headquarter. It said that the Rukongai was currently being attacked by hollows.
Shinn listened to the message carefully. Such a thing should not be tolerated. He should protect everyone as he had promised to his best friend long ago.
He jumped to the roof, did shunpo to the other end, and jumped to the next roof. He should reach the 40th district as fast as he could.

Crimson

A Hell Butterfly fluttered int he air around the sleeping Crimson. Landing on his nose it moved a bit. With a twitch, then a sneeze he woke up. Sitting up, sleep hovering closely to him, he lifted a finger for the butterfly. Once all was heard he quickly perked up. 'Attack? Here?' he thought, 'Finally! Something to get into!' He smirked as he stood up, looking down at the 11th Division roof. "Oh yeah..." He had forgotten he fell asleep up here. Quickly jumping down he started off through the 11th Division, looking to see who all was coming out.

Anzen

As Anzen walked on through the 6th Division he noticed a Hell Butterfly. Slowly to a stop he let it relay it's information to him. As it flew off he was stunned. "This isn't right..." he said as he turned around. "I better find one of my team to see what we should do.." Not waisting any time he started into a run, searching for anyone from his team.

Katai ran towards the 40th District of the Southern Rukongai as fast as he could. He was a fairly quick runner, but he really wished he knew shunpo. It would have made the journey much swifter. "Hey, might as well wish for a shikai, no better yet a bankai, while I'm at it," Katai muttered to himself.

He knew he was entering a very dangerous situation, one well beyond his ability. He was a regular unseated Shinigami, and the report indicated that the invading Hollows might be adjuchas class menos, or at the very least gillians that had made significant progress in their evolution. And even a normal, dumb gillian was way beyond Katai's strength.

But there would be ways for Katai to make himself useful. People in the nearby areas were being evacuated, and they would need protection. It would be quite horrible if a bunch of small, weak Hollows snuck in and scattered, then massacred civilians while the more powerful Shinigami had their hands full with the menos. And there was always a chance Katai might be able to take part in a joint attack against a menos. Even if all he ended up doing was point some scared citizens in the right direction, it would be better than doing nothing.

Katai paused briefly. In the distance, he could see the shapes of several massive Hollows, the Garganta that brought them still open behind them. Moreso, he could feel the Hollows' reiastu, a terrifying presence that threatened to make him disgrace Squad 11 by fleeing in the other direction. Mastering his fear, Katai pressed onward, looking around for a Shinigami who looked like he or she might be in charge, or at least have some idea what the plan was.

He ran right into a fairly high ranked Shinigami that he thought he recognized. He wasn't totally certain. She saw him and gave him some orders.

"You! Whatever your name is, Ka-something." Pointing to an area to the west of where the garganta were located, she continued on. "Head over there immediately. You'll find some Shinigami there already, trying to evacuate the citizens. You join them and keep your eyes on the Gargantas, and kill any Hollow who try and sneak by and get an easy meal. If instead of weak Hollows the menos head your way, you'll almost certainly die, but give them some indigestion at least, and a toothache as well. Go now!"

Katai obeyed, though her words did not exactly fill him with confidence.

Hanako repeated the mission over ten times in her head before finally heading of the 40th District. Her Zanpakuto in hand, her favorite eyepatch covering her left eye, she launched forward following all the Shinigami's who like her, had received message of the situation.

She wasn't particularly fond of fights, but at the same time, she couldn't deny her job. She had worked hard to approve the Shinigami Academy. But now that she had approved, the monotony of her life was eventually interrupted by a mission... Eventually, she had learned to hide her emotions and just deal with them.

The Gillians in the distance towered over the small houses...

"Caution is a must"

It was the first time Azul entered Soul Society. Upon her arrival at Las Noches, she had been given the same welcome comitee that Julia had received. The same options, and the same orders.

"So, this is where those Shinigami's live... What a strange place"

The air was not as Reiatsu filled as in Hueco Mundo, but it was still better than the living world.

The sight of nearing Shinigami's broke her out of her dreamworld, as the other Hollows prepared for battle unleashing their reiatsu.

"Let's get the mission started"

Two other shinigami seemed to be also heading toward 40th district. They were a girl with eyepatch and a red-haired man.

Shinn slowed down so that the other shinigamis could keep up. Staying in a group should be better for the leader, who according to the hell butterfly was a captain, to organize the shinigamis later. However, it seemed that he or she hadn't showed up yet.

Katai stood in a scene of pandemonium and chaos. To his East, the massive forms of several menos could clearly be seen. Another menos, probably an evolved gillian, came out of one of the Garganta while Katai was watching. It's feathered form had a decidedly feminine cast to it. Female Hollows, or at least Hollows that could be recognized as female, were somewhat rare, but Katai didn't really have time to notice the odditity of it, as his immediate surroundings demanded his attention.

Not long after it had first arrived, one of the invading Hollows had screamed some Reiatsu filled roar that had terrified Katai as he made his way towards the area. Now that he was closer, he saw that the roar had killed most of the nearby souls. It had also severely injured many of those who had been far enough away to surivive. The woman lying at Katai's feet hadn't even been that lucky, though. Her spiritual body had just been too weak, Katai guessed. Now, it looked as though it had suddenly spurted blood from every pore and half imploded. Not a pleasant site at all.

Katai didn't have time to waste on her: he needed to locate surviviors, point those who could move in the right direction, and carry those who couldn't move. Heading down another street, he heard a whimper, and discovered a small boy cowering in the corner. He was alive, but blood streamed down his face from his nose, ears, and perhaps even his eyes.

"Someone! 4th division, I need you here!" Asking for help from that squad was not something Katai would normally ever want to do, but he didn't know whether the boy was even healthy enough to attempt moving. His shout caught the attention of a nearby Shinigami, who bent over the child and began muttering a Kido. Katai figured he'd leave him to it, and continue looking for more surviviors... and Hollows that might feel like snacking on the surviviors.

Though there were a fair amount of Shinigami around Katai, they were all unseated men that Katai didn't even recognize. Worse, a decent chunk of them seemed to be from Squad 4. Good for helping the surviviors, but if they needed to fight... well, even giving a Hollow indigestion might be beyond some of them.

Where were the captains, and the "battle-ready" squad they were supposed to be forming? The menos might just be idly gazing around the Rukongai now, but any moment they would move, and if all they would find to resist them would be a bunch of low-ranked and unseated Shinigami, it would be a massacre.

Ren's haori swirled as she appeared with a shunpo. Almost immediately after sensing the hollows she'd headed straight to their location. She hated hollows, and the Rukongai was her turf, she'd been born in the district and she still felt some attachment to it.

The area seemed to be full of shinigami, but the reiatsu she was sensing from them indicated that few of them would be particularly useful against a menos, although there were some exceptions. One of which was one of the two members of Eleventh Division she'd met the day before, who was at that very moment searching the wreckage for survivors. She pursed her lips in interest, this man really was an anomaly, one would expect a shinigami in his squad to already be in the thick of battle, yet this guy was helping the injured.

She walked up behind him and tapped him on his shoulder "So, is the damage as bad as it looks?"

Katai was very pleased to see that a captain had arrived, though he wasn't certain Takada-taicho would have been his first choice. The captain of 4th Division, and someone who had scolded him the day before for his manners. Well, she was definitely better than nothing though.

Those were the thoughts that went through Katai's head, after he had recovered from the shock of suddenly being tapped on his shoulder from behind when he hadn't realized anyone was even there. He should have been more aware, but he had been too focused on keeping a constant eye on the Gargantas, and the Hollows around them.

In respone to her question, Katai said, "Unfortunately, as much as I can tell... yes. I don't believe there is a single soul left intact in the area east of us, and most of those here are badly injured. Some have already been evacuated, but it may take a while to get the rest to safety, and I have no idea what is happening in the other areas close to the Gargantas. No Hollows have left the area immediately around the Gargantas, as far as I can tell, but I expect that to change anytime, given that they have no food there.

As you are now the highest ranked person here... your orders, taicho?"

Julia waltzed in through the garganta, looks like they had a lot of people to play with around here. Though it appeared that she had many temporary companions as well. She looked around to see many fleeing citizens in the distance, they wouldn't really be that tasty she mused. Though, it seemed like some shinigami rats decided to come join the party. "Hmm, well won't this be fun."

The Hell Butterfly departed as Hibiki changed direction, heading out of 12th division towards Rukongai. He could already feel the rough reiatsu of the invading Hollow, fairly high class ones interestingly. It was suspicious to say the least; Hibiki mulled over the recent events occuring around his division...

'It's got to be something to do with us, but what would Hollows want with the 12th division? We don't keep anything helpful to them,' Hibiki mused. Moments after this, he slapped his face with his open palm. 'Well, nothing helpful in its immediate form, at any rate. Perhaps I should do some security checks...' Hibiki slowed to a jog. 'But when I've tried to help before - I seem to just get in the way these days. Better that I do something useful and save some of Rukongai's unfortunates from getting devoured.'

Hibiki quickened his pace, and made straight for the 40th district.

Ren didn't take long to ponder the idea, she'd been in command of field missions before, and she knew what she had to do "Right, our first priority is to ensure that the rest of the district is safe, which means stopping that scum before they get any further in."

She glanced around to try and locate any other shinigami worth her time, she could sense some with decent reiatsu approaching, and as she watched the owners of it emerged onto the scene. A girl with an eyepatch, a boy with red hair, one with spikey black hair and her old friend Shinn, who still owed her a fight. She found herself hoping that the hollows didn't kill him.

"Glad you lot finally made it."

EDIT: [OOC- I assume you all kinda turned up at the same time. BioBomber, you came in a bit later, and I thought I'd give you the option of defending Twelfth against the stealthier hollows, but it's up to you. Also guys, feel free to contest Ren's authority]

Shinn arrived at the scene. He felt a strong shinigami reiatsu of a captain, which is felt somewhat familiar. He moved toward the owner of that reiatsu, and there she stood. The captain of the 4th division who he has met before.

The place had been very chaotic. Several hollows could be seen from there and it seemed that they wouldn't stop unless they forced them to.

"Glad you lot finally made it."

He didn't answer the greeting. Instead, Shinn went straight to the point and asked, "So, what do you think I should do?"

Ren nodded, glad that he was ready to get to work "You're fourth seat yes? I'll leave it to you to take out the monster that did this. The reiatsu traces on the area match that of the wolf-like Gillian." She pointed at it with a finger "Make the bastard scream, but at the same time approach with caution, whatever technique it used here was powerful, and you're no use to anyone if you charge in recklessly and end up as dead as the rest of this district."

"Using long-ranged combat fits it then. Flap your wings, Jigoku chidori!!!" The sword vanished and two fingerless metal gloves were formed, covering each of Shinn's hands.

Four knives were formed between his fingers of each hands, that he soon had eight knives. He did shunpo and vanished, running toward his opponent.

He stopped at closest distance that he thought to be out of the wolf Gillian and other hollows's range and used the momentum created by his shunpo to throw the knives on his left hand to the wolf hollow. He did shunpo again that he vanished, moving in an eighth counterclockwise circle and was ready to throw his knives on his right hand from his enemy's 10:30.

Another four knives began to form in his left hand. After throwing these knives, he intended to shunpo again and threw them from another angle.

Being a speed-based fighter, it should be easy for him to keep his distance from the enemy. At least that's what he thought.

'It would be troublesome if the other hollow helps this one. I should piss him off for now and lure him away from the rest of the group and finish this lunch', he thought.

The red reiatsu covering the blades of the first thrown knives chirped slightly as they cut through the air. They moved toward the hollow, aiming for it's skull mask.

Shuga was on his way to his room when he was intercepted by the 2nd Tier Admin officer.

"Shugoshita-kun, a moment if you please." He trumpeted formally, looking around to make sure Kim wasn't around. "A situation has arisen in Rukongai. A Hollow invasion force of unknown strength and number has penetrated our realm. We received the Hell butterfly notice a while ago, but have been unable to scramble lower tiers dues to mission activities. We at the low tier admin office have received notice that you are to be considered for a low ranking officer seat." He leaned in closer to Shuga. "This is an opportunity boy. Perform well and there may well be a promotion in order." His voice reverted from the hush back to trumpeting. "Make haste, you are already late to muster with other forces that have gathered."

"Yes sir." replied Shuga as he bowed deeply, taking the mission details form from the officer.

A while later, Shuga arrived at the trouble spot. He scanned the area, looking for friendly forces to coordinate with.

Peacefully under the shade of a tree lay Shinji. He had been there after the interrogation drinking sake and relaxing when he felt the reiatsu of several Hollows. He recognized Ren's reiatsu at the scene as well as several other Shinigami sent to combat this threat.

He attempted to rise to his feet but temporarily lost balance and toppled over, was he drunk? On his second try he actually was somewhat successful, he was on his feet, a little off balance, but still standing. Pinpointing the source of the reiatsu, Shinji began to make his way towards Rukongai.

POOF! Isamu emerged on the other side of the garganta. A soon as he emerged into the new world, he immediately recognized it as an old one. Isamu opened the sides of the rift as it was tall but not too wide. Isamu emerged in a spectacular sight, as his six legs scraped him past, widening the void as Isamu past through it. As he emerged, he saw everything he had once very much known...and disliked. It was Soul Society, not his origins just his...childhood memories as a hollow, more like a boarding school. Isamu's mask widened into a crazed smile....finally...some tasty meat!

Suddenly reiatsu barreled down his body and the familiar change in air was noticeable but not deterring. Isamu spotted his first victims, he recognized the area, knew the way back to the "experimental chamber". Isamu felt the other presences, alot of weak hollow much like himself but they didn't have his...unique trait. There were also some gillian...alot of individual ones...it made him question the nature of this...seemingly random occurrence. Though much of the citizens were gone from this area, no doubt evacuated and moved by the "warriors" of this place. Isamu swooped down, uses the momentum from the voids push to throw himself forward upon his targets location. Fortunately, Isamu infact landed on a prey...much to his delight...though it wasn't the prey he was hunting. He sliced the victim in half, and devoured both of the bodies in a bloody spectacle. Yes Isamu did freely kill and devour in this area, after all it was a separate world...like Hueco Mundo though the rules were different...it wasn't a dog-eat-dog world...at least not normally...oh today? Today is special.

Farris (Wolf Hollow) saw the incoming blades and instead of moving out of the way, simply unleashed a general wave of reiatsu to repell them all.

"It looks someone needs to know their place... Zhe-Quu, take care of this one"

The Turtled like Hollow moved forward. The best way to describe it was as a humongous turtle, whose head was located on the top of a very large dark tail... In the place where the face would be located, only darkness could be seen.

The silent Gillian moved forward, attempting to break everything with it's rock-hard head.

"Why!! Why did you send him already and not someone else!!" Jack protested

"We want to fight them, not a perform a needless massacre. This opponent was just worthy of his level. Just wait a bit longer..."

Farris' eyes were fixed on the sole captain in this attack... Just to test her, he spat a Bala to a nearby home. Empty or not, survivors were not important.

Hanako neared the captain, in what would be their first official conversation.

"Yamada Hanako, newly graduated unseated officer. I await further details concerning my actions and following procedures. Though I lack proper communication with my Zanpakuto, I can deal with average Gillian Menos with relative ease."

Her tone was extremelly formal, almost robotic, and failed to express the sheer emotion she was feeling at the moment.

Azul overheard Farris' orders, but she was already being bordered by a Shinigami in brown robes [Aka: Filler-Gami]. Her orders were to entertain the Shinigami, so she merelly slapped this one when it jumped down to her...

Of course, she hadn't counted on his pathetic strength, and was shocked to find his body break down on her fingers with a mere slap...

Slightly horrified, slightly thrilled, Azul smiled... Many more Shinigami's where approaching, but none of them were attacking her directly. Until Farris ordered, she'd stay quiet.

Current Fights -
Zhe-Quu vs Shinn

A small note on Filler-Gami's and Fodder-Hollows
As to keep your characters active when there's not an opponent around, you can make filler Shinigami or Hollows appear. Of course, this Filler characters will be unexplicably weak, won't pose much of a threat, etc. Of course, Filler-Gami's won't have even Shikai, not even Shunpo. Fodder-Hollows, on the same side, will be as good as newly created Hollows with no skills.

Use common sense, going bunkers with Filler characters won't grant you any points. Also, keep in hand your own power level... I mean, you cannot really fight too much against Filler-characters if you yourself are rather weak. Also, while Filler-Gamis are common, they are not infinite. Abusive use of Fail characters is also a big No No

Entertain huh...well as long as it entertains me as well!

So far, it seemed all the current shinigami around where all extremely too weak to take her one on one, save the one captain that was present. She hated to admit it, but she stood little chance against that one. O well, she had back up if it came down to that. For now, it was time to take out the trash.

She opted to make good use of the six scythes that sprung out from her back and flung them in various directions, not really caring who or what they hit.

Isamu's face turned toward the growing numbers. He had indeed spotted quite a few..."warriors" of this place. He knew that if these shinigami had caught sight of him, they would surely interrupt...probably end up injuring him. Unless...unless it was someone of his level that he fought. Isamu tried to spot out one weak enough but his eyes were glued to one that had a ridiculous amount of reiatsu...definitely a no-no.

Isamu preferred to rely on fate on this one. What ever shinigami that saw him, saw him nothing more than that. He wouldn't entice, he would hide...he would just continue. Isamu had made quite a trial behind him, more like a streak of crimson red and broken bones. He was having quite a massacre as though it seemed there were not many, in actuality there was an adequate amount of people still hiding within the area...scouring out from their holes when the big bad cat was in view unfortunately for them...this cat had razor sharp claws and knew of the back streets and alleys. Isamu continued on his rampage but soon there was not a soul in sight, he hadn't gone far...in fact it was that the shinigami had got to this area first. Only a single shinigami was in the area...he quickly shooed off the last remaining resident as part of his evacuation orders. Isamu smiled...it had been a while since he had fought with this world's "warriors."

The blade came down quick...it swirled past the body and inched near his head. That is...Isamu's head. It seems as though this warrior had some skill with "his" blade. Though it was nearly enough to contend with Isamu. As the blades met sparks flew and a horrible screeching sound that even hurt Isamu's ears was born into the air around them. The shinigami was a light complexion, he had brown hair that draped over his scalp and fit comfortably on his head. He was obviously angry but somewhat unaware of his situation, more concerned with buying the residents time then killing the hollow in front of him...surely his compassion was a weakness though noble...it would warrant his death. You see, shinigami have a huge flaw in this weapon...they don't have enough. As Isamu's left hand held the shinigami's blade at bay, his right hand came swooping down and even though the shinigami jumped back in an effort to dodge it, his finger was sliced off and his zampakuto lay on the ground between Isamu and himself.

It was the first time, he looked at Isamu. Clear as day, his eyes grew extremely wide, he abandoned his blade as he cowered back using his hands to pull himself despite one bleeding horribly. Isamu smiled widely...use of words was redundant in this situation.

The shinigami looked at Isamu. "You're....you're....the..the pious...stal...stalkar!!" Obviously the shinigami had heard of Isamu, once famous in Soul Society or infamous rather. Known first for his killing habits then for his intelligence...Isamu had become somewhat of a prime example of good game by many academy student and unseated shinigami. Isamu's black blade came down as the shinigami begged for his mercy...the blade cut through his arm before it reached his torso. Isamu once again left a bloody trail behind him, as he tried to leave the area...for more...food. Surely another shinigami would try and stop him...Isamu just hoped that the shinigami wouldn't be as unfortunate and inexperienced as the previous. Isamu grinned widely...he had no idea he was still this known....no....this....infamous.

Katai watched as the Wolf Hollow easily deflected the blades sent by his squadmate, Shinn, using nothing but Reiatsu. That wolf was strong, probably way beyond anybody but a vice-captain or captain. It seemed Takada-taicho had her opponent.

Maddeningly, more Hollows continued to swarm in through the open gates, including a mantis-like Hollow that immediately dove into another sector and started attacking the few souls remaining there, before a Shinigami started to fight it. Katai swore. "Isn't Soul Society supposed to have some sort of protection?! Where's squad 12?! Can't they get those gates closed?!" If they were left open, every Hollow in Hueco Mundo might just decide to show up.

Katai knew he needed to find a way to draw at least some of the weaker Hollows away. The Turtle-Gillian was lumbering towards Shinn, so Katai decided to focus on the pumpkin-thing. From the little bit he had heard of that Hollow's speech, he figured that goading it into attacking him shouldn't be too tough.

"HEY FRUIT FREAK!!! You sure are bloated! I've never seen anything so pathetic looking in my life- or afterlife! Bakadou #9, HIT!"

Of course, even though Katai was unusually good at binding spells, he wasn't good enough to do an effective one without an incantation. But that didn't matter, all he wanted to do was get the pumpkin's attention, and the solid thunk it would feel when the spell hit it should do the trick.

Katai began to sway back and forth and dance in some ridiculous fashion, shaking his rear end at the pumpkin. "Come on now, Jack, are you scared of a little ol unseated Shinigami? I think I know how you got so ugly, you couldn't eat the souls of humans or even animals, so you had to settle for plants!"

Katai was slightly distracted by the appearance of a burst of red energy from the Wolf Hollow, and a spray of scythes from a Gillian. Fortunately, the Gillian didn't seem to be aiming at anything in particular, and the wolf was aiming at a house, so Katai avoided them both. Unfortunately, he wasn't certain if the house was fully evacuated yet, but there was no way for him to stop the energy blast. Perhaps Takada-taicho would be able to do something in time...

It seemed that she'd underestimated the wolf shaped hollow, but it had set someone else on Shinn, so that meant that it was all hers. She grinned ferociously "The rest of you, take whichever opponent you want. Fight well, and if you have to die, make sure that you take one of them down with you."

She noted the bala that the wolf hollow was sending towards the house, most likely as some kind of test, however he'd overestimated her concern for regular human life. Her senses told her that there were still people in the house, but she refused to be drawn into the trap of running around trying to defend the few living humans left in the area. Defence was not her strong point, she preferred to take the offensive. The sacrifice of these people would allow her to gain a momentary advantage and catch the creature off guard.

She vanished with a burst of shunpo, only to appear seconds later behind her chosen enemy, striking down with her zanpaktou "Welcome to Seireitei, Dog!"

Shinn watched as the enemy blew away his first four knives. However, he continued to do what he planned. He threw the four knives on his right hand to the wolf hollow from his enemy's 10:30.

The wolf hollow seemed to have launched a bala before he threw the knives, and the turtle hollow had moved toward him. His left hand now was holding the newly created four knives. He threw them to the place between the Wolf hollow and the house, hoping that the bala would explode before it reached the house. That was all he could do, as his new enemy was coming at him. He shunpoed away to avoid it. It seemed that he couldn't fight the wolf hollow as he had planned.

((I don't know how to say between front and left in a better way lol))

A slightly intoxicated Shinji sped towards the bala fired by the wolf Hollow. His zanpakuto was already released as he moved to intercept the blast. He was successful in defending the innocent bystanders and their home but the pure force of the Bala was enough to cause the drunken Shinji to clumsily lose his footing and send him off his feet plummeting towards the ground. He hit the floor rather hard and rolled until he hit the poor walls of a Rukongai home. Now also a bit dizzy, Shinji stumbled at his first attempt to stand, it seemed like the entire world was spinning.

Finally able to get his bearings, Shinji gazed towards the the nearest Hollow. The hollow closest to him resembled a sheep with horns and judging by it's reiatsu, it was strong.

"Hee~y Hollow! Mind leavin' Soul Society peacefully? I'm ain't in tha mood ta fight."

From that small Garganta, a slender figure appeared. It was clad in an outfit that looked much like the standard Shinigami uniform, but with the colors altered: dark grey instead of black, blood red instead of white. And there was one very noticable addition as well. This addition was a skull mask that covered the figure's head, a mask that was colored black with bright red blotches scattered all over it.

Caidos (http://www.bleachasylum.com/showthread.php?p=700680#post700680) was this figure's name. Surpressing his Reiatsu, he began to sneak through the back alleys of Soul Society and head in the direction he had been told led to the science division's headquarters. He moved cautiously, for he figured the science division must have traps and security devices guarding it. He also had no idea what Shinigami might be hanging around there.

How boring, how simply boring. There were way too many of them and not enough shinigami around to make this any fun at all. She would have to settle for random destruction for now.

In the distance she spied many beings fleeing away from the scene, way too weak to be any shinigami. Heh, trash like them had no right to just be fleeing so easily. With a quick forward motion of her head she spat four spheres of acid into varying distances towards the evacuees. They would each burst about twenty meters above ground, raining down acid on countless evacuees and buildings alike, burning through them.

Farris backflipped at Ren's attack, but instead of landing back, he impulsed on the air, and aimed a headbutt to this captain's head.

Not a fatal blow, but enough to warrant a nosebleed.

"It's my pleasure to be here, Captain... SCHAFE! I leave it all to you!"

The horned sheep smiled at hearing his name. Even better, since everything was at his charge, he could take the mask off.

"Everyone!! Fight to your limits! Destroy and annihilate as much as possible!!"

Having shouted his first orders, he glared at his opponent. He didn't seem much, but it'd be a nice start.

"Too bad... Cause I'm feeling more hyped than ever"

His spiral horn sparkled...

Zhe-Quu expanded his long neck even more. It's simple and boulder like mask made it a perfect weapon for whipping stuff with it. Something he attempted to do with his opponent.

The whipping was surprisingly fast for a Gillian... But the movements were almost blind, and were vaguely headed at a general area...

Jack was in a fit of anger. He was never the sanest in the group, but this was quickly showing in his eyes which flamed out rage... Quiet literally

"I'll show you what this fruit can do! You meat pack!"

In the first offensive maneuver of the invasive party, Jack spat a stream of fire directed towards Katai.

Hanako reached Bael... And after a long contest of stares, she declared.

"You'll be elimininated"

Bael laughed, and materialized a long staff, with a skull on it's top.

"Let's see who kills who, pathetic girl"

Somewhere else, a group of Shinigami's were passing by the place the Arrancars had appeared at, and driftes of their conversation could be heard -

"I tell you, it's the lastest model available"

"No shit?"

"Yah, it's like, tha biggest inversion in mobile communication. Just come with me"

Unsurprisingly, the Shinigami's refused to approach Azul, now that one of their companions had been so easily destroyed... Hatake Retsu was a blur, as she leapt from rooftop to rooftop, rushing with every fiber of her being to the battle in Rukongai. She was late getting the message, but the third seat wasn't one to back away from a challenge, nor was she about to let hollows destroy her world. She could see the battlefield now, and a particular hollow caught her eye. She quickly leapt in front of it, shielding a few innocent rukongai citizens in the process.

"Run away now," she said, looking back to them. She turned her attention back to Azul. "I'm your opponent now. Third Division Third seat, Hatake Retsu. This place shall be your grave," she threatened emotionlessly.

Shinn jumped backward as the turtle hollow whipped his head randomly. It seemed that his knives didn't hit the wolf hollow, and the other knives just got blown away by the bala and were unable to explode it. But it was good that another shinigami managed to save everyone in the house.
Now he concentrated on the turtle gillian. He didn't want to judge his speed just from the fact that it looked like a turtle. But he thought that he would not lose if it came to speed. 'The problem was the shell', he thought. 'Seemed that the hollow had a strong defence. Except maybe for that empty hole in place where his head should be. And since the head, or tail, is used to attack, It must be hard also. And I can't get closer with such a random movement of his. Let's try this then..'
He created another 8 knives and threw them to the area around where the hollow moved his neck. Again, he created another 8 knives and threw them to the same area. 'If he keep moving, it might scratch his neck a bit. I'll keep doing this while evading his attack that it will injure him bit by bit. If he stops due to the pain, I'll charge forward and try to attack the head hole'.

"I kill and kill yet none dares to strike at me? Despite killing the people the weaker warriors try to save. My my has Soul Society gotten conceited or what...they would rather fight for their own advancement than fight for their fellow people." Isamu talked in a rather ironic tone...he was surprised. Soul Society was not what it once was...it had degenerated probably with the foul putrid corruption that filled the science division that "tested" Isamu back during *those* days.

Isamu shuddered at the thought but remembered the cruelty and violent treatment that he had to return. His grin started to form and he dropped the lifeless body of a straggler. Blood now flowed and stained Isamu hands and mask around his mouth. He had quite a good fill...but now was time to move deeper into Soul Society for more food...more retribution. He saw the warriors fight, men, women they each fought the gillan hollow that enticed them with their power. Only two warriors had fought on behalf of the people...well really only one. It made Isamu happy...for the lack of caring was what brought him so many meals. The clicking sound of each of Isamu's pincer legs tapping the floor as he moved took over the area, aside form the sword clashing and sound of fire.

If he weren't stopped soon, Isamu would devour more peoples of Soul Society..for his hunger and his retribution. Where has the strength of the Gotei 13 gone?! Will they really allow a single hollow to enter their precious city...perhaps it wasn't as precious to them as the hollow had thought.

Jack vs Katai - Round 1- Fight! :p

"Oh, meat pack, that's a creative insult, did you.... whoa!" Katai jumped aside to dodge the stream of fire sent by the demented pumkin. So, it had fire powers. No problem, Katai thought. It's ranged attacks were another issue, though. It was still standing - or floating - close to some very powerful Hollows, and as much as Katai wanted to just charge in and slash it, he had enough sanity to know that putting himself next to a Gillian and an Adjucha was not smart. And Katai wasn't stupid: he may love battle, but he wasn't a complete fool, and he knew he wasn't yet strong enough to charge gleefully into the mix of things. That day would come later.

"And all my kido are binding spells, so even if I hit it..." Katai began to approach Jack a little bit, dodging through alleys and between buildings, still careful to not get too close to the big unoccupied Hollows. He could see Jack even clearer now, it's eyes flaming. Pointing his sword at it, he taunted the Hollow.

"I see you're a coward. You whined about not being sent out, but then refuse to move your fat rump from that spot. Do you like being around bigger Hollows so that they can protect you? Come on!"

Katai gestured off to an an area to theside which was empty of both Hollows and Shinigami. "I've always enjoyed 1 on 1 fights... how about it, Jack? Can you manage it? Or do you prefer to do your battles 5 on 1, begging for scraps of souls left over, like some diseased and pathetic dog, unworthy of anything better?!" Katai stuck his tongue out at Jack and made a rude sound, then quickly headed towards the empty area, still moving carefully incase Jack sent another stream of fire.

Caidos -

Caidos listened to the Shinigami's with interest, and a unseen smile appeared on his lips. They were discussing exactly what he had been sent to get. Still supressing his Reiatsu, Caidos began to sneak after the Shinigami group, hoping they would lead him to exactly what he seeked.

Shuga looked around at the chaos. There seemed to be skirmishes all over the place and finding allies was already difficult considering his poor reiatsu sensing ability.

Why aren't the captains or officers taking command?

Shuga's assessment of the chaos was interupted when he spotted a lone hollow causing havoc, creeping along with its grotesque pincer-like legs.

I don't think I can wait for orders, that big guy doesn't seem to be taking breaks between feedings.

Getting a bead on its general location, Shuga dashed between the buildings at streetlevel, trying to get as close as possible without being spotted. Taking a moment to duck behind some abandoned carts, he heard the distinct tapping noise of the the hollow's legs in the adjacent street. Without pausing and without making a sound, he leapt to the rooftop of the dividing building and hopped silently into the air over the hollow, hanging there as if he was suspended by wires. Without any war-cries, Shuga descended on the hollow, attempting to bring his immensly heavy blade to bear on the hollow's head before it was aware of him.

Well it looked like the sheep had other plans, the easy way out was no longer an option. Shinji wobbled as he tried to keep his balance, watching as the Schafe's horn began to sparkle.

Hmm this might be a lil' difficult, maybe I shoulda skipped out on those last couple o' bottles huh?

He began to pour his reiatsu, preparing his attack. Once the reiatsu filled the blades of his weapon he swung erratically releasing a wave of energy that headed straight towards the sheep-like Hollow known as Schafe. Immediately after he swung his weapon, Shinji lost balance and fell on his face. In a struggle to stand he stabbed his zanpakuto into the ground and began to slowly use the axe as a support.

If Schafe managed to dodge Shinji's initial attack then he would see Shinji slouching against his large weapon looking to be unconscious.

Isamu didn't expect an attack, and when it came it totally left his off guard. However, the weight of the blade caused the air and reiatsu around it to move at an irregular pace, plus Isamu saw a faint reflection off his own blade. The blow came down fast, before Isamu could dodge it. Though the sword was of average size and of normal shape, it's weight was of a sheer volume that contradicted what was before Isamu's sight. The blade was swift in the air but once it hit Isamu's scythe like hands...it was obvious why the air and reiatsu had reacted so irregular.

Isamu grinned, "Guess you can't judge a book by it's cover!" Isamu couldn't support the weight with one blade, so he had to use two of his arms. Isamu knew that staying that would be fatal, so he came up with a plan to get out and over to end this fight. He supported the weight with four legs but with the other two he shifted to the right, throwing the momentum and weight of both the blade and its owner to the left. Isamu saw the attacker for the first time, a dark skinned man...rare sight in the warriors ranks, however this warrior was an agent desiring to kill him nonetheless, so Isamu not take this opponent lightly especially since this opponent had displayed such an ability and such a bold attack. This meant that his attacking was one who lacked a ranged attack or preferred melee combat...either way...it would be his downfall.

The two stood five meters from each other, however one thing set the two apart....the number of blades. Isamu didn't know if this shinigami came after him to protect others or if he was just a straggler himself and was desperate to get into a battle...Isamu didn't know but...he did care.

"What is your name and purpose? Reason? I don't need one."

Shuga's attack was disappointingly ineffective. He spun off, as the creature parried the blow, skidding to a halt not far from the hollow. Up close, the hollow's limbs produced distracting movements. Adopting gedan, Shuga's blade dropped to a low position, purposefully coming to rest on the ground. The hollow's questions surprised him somewhat.

"I didn't realize hollows were so formal. You may call me shinigami. Won't you let me slay you, so that you can rest in peace?"

Even before the sentence was finished, Shuga started his attack, not waiting for an answer. He executed a strong swing of his sword, lifting dirt and sand from the ground and flinging it at the hollow's eyes. Even as the sand flew through the air, Shuga aimed a slash at one of the creature's legs, attempting to cut it off in one slice...

The shinigami let his zampakuto drop to the ground. It confused Isamu, was this warrior going to respond? Perhaps even give up? No someone of his skill, if they were going to respond to him, it was either to buy time or an indirect to tell the opponent I have enough strength to just let up and talk to you...Isamu assumed the later. Either way direct action was called for, a single strike was enough to send Isamu off balance and was enough to rival his utmost strength...even that strike was probably a fraction of the warriors power.

The warrior...no...the shinigami as he told Isamu to refer to him as was very relaxed and somewhat eloquent in his speech as well. He seemed to respect Isamu for his speech and followed up Isamu's question with one of his own though it was totally in an satiric tone. But halfway through the shinigami's speech, Isamu had made preparations of his own, he didn't to intent to answer this shinigami's question...he had to do everything in his power to buy himself time or confuse the shinigami till he could figure out a strategy to this dangerous game of checkers. Isamu's strength after all lies with his intelligence and intuition...an attack to start would hopefully reveal some weaknesses or at least reaction times and actions...if the opponent was buying time then he'd probably die here, if he really was strong...then reactions and weaknesses could hopefully be seen, either way its a win-win situation. It was like a checkers piece that could move either way diagonally and still hop an opponents piece next turn either way.

However as Isamu tried to make a strike, the shinigami too tried to do the same. It was very peculiar to Isamu. He had not envisioned that this shinigami would wait for an answer either and act faster than Isamu had himself! It was like the checkers piece made the move but before it did, the opponent kinged his own piece a piece that Isamu had forgot about or had not seen. Thankfully though, since Isamu was in mid-motion when the shinigami made his move, Isamu didn't receive the full blast of the attack. Still though, the sand had blinded Isamu to the attack at his right leg and though in motion, the strong swing and massive weight of the sword crushed into Isamu's leg and sent him flying forward into a building. Isamu recovering from the attack, had to think fast...he had to king his checkers piece now or else he would lose the whole board.

Not a fatal blow, but enough to warrant a nosebleed.

"It's my pleasure to be here, Captain... SCHAFE! I leave it all to you!"

Unfortunately for Farris, Ren's head was harder than even most of her division gave her credit for. The impact gave her a mild headache, but as she cheerfully informed Farris "Hah! I've had hangovers that hurt more than that did!"

Her brain, pickled by years of alcohol abuse, was soon numb to the pain. She decided to stop forestalling the inevitable, jumping back out of the way and bringing her zanpaktou out in front of her "Rise and shine Oboroduki"

The blade shone blue for a moment, and then changed into its quicksilver form. With a flick of her wrist she dislodged the shimmering crescent blade and sent it slicing through the air towards Farris. The blade expanded as it moved through the air, like a wave on water, becoming even thinner and sharper as it did so.

Farris took quick notice of this Zanpakuto... At first, it looked like nothing more than an expanding sword, of which he had seen before...

However, after dodging it, he DID notice that the cut left in the enviroment was not what he was expecting... The blade shone bright, so it made it difficult to tell what was exactly going on, but the wounds on the floor showed that the blade was much sharper than what it looked like when the captain first held it in her hand...

It may be troublesome to be reached by that... And the small size makes it an ideal short range weapon... For the moment, I'll stay just outside it's reach

He was quiet distant from Ren, so he started a fast sprint, until he was at an ideal distance, out from the reach of her hand, but also close enough to avoid the sharpest edge of the expansible blade. An abrupt stop made him halt, but from his mane, quills continued with the same speed -

Schafe didn't move, instead he stood on his hind legs, and used the spiral horn as a blade.

The reiatsu wave was repelled, and Schafe was ready to start his counter-attack... Except that his opponent seemed to be already unconcious.

":-_- This can't be happening to me... Oh well, let's end this already" Schafe once more stood on his hind legs, but this time, he only lowered his head, pointing with the spiral horn...

The air suddenly felt heavy, and not too long after, a thunder felt on Shinji

Zhe-Quu stopped moving his head at the moment one of the knifes cut through his neck. It bleeded with pressure, like taken out from a cheap japanese movie.

However, once the bleeding stopped, he stopped the random movements, and instead decided to headbutt the place where Shinn was standing. The movements were now much slower, maybe because Zhe-Quu was aiming instead of just throwing around - However, they were also much more acurate, and a strike from such a blockhead sure hurts.

Katai had hit the nail with the insults. Jack soon started floating at him, still throwing flame jets... Until he quickly did realize he would dry himself of reiatsu if this reckless attack continued.

Instead, he tore out his black robe, revealing an empty rib-cage, with a pair of sickles as arms... It'd only take a bit of reiatsu to charge them with flames, making Jack a frightful sight to any living human.

"Jijijijiji... You'll swallow those words Shinigami!"

The fight with Bael was not going as expected. Hanako edged out the Gillian when it came to speed, but her sealed Zanpakuto was unable to do anything but the most superficial damage to her. To make matters worse, Bael swung his staff in a rustic, but strong movements. A small quantity of hits could pretty much signify my lose. I cannot afford to be striken

Bael was getting tired of trying to catch Hanako, and soon roared "STOP MOVING AROUND LIKE AN ANNOYING BUG AND COME FIGHT YOU BITCH!"

"Order refused"

Bael impaled the floor with his staff. At first nothing happened, but soon, the dead inhabitants of Rokungai started floating, and and moved in Hanako's direction like mindless zombies.

"You know, it's pretty much a miracle that you ended up alive after that fight... So I've got a deal for you... You accept that you are nothing more than a bug, an insignificant insect, just TRASH... And then beg for my help..."

The annoying smirk that could be seen from under his mask only accentuated his sardonic tone.

"Do otherwise... And I could accidentally give away your location to your opponent"

One of the tails called Izamu's attention. It was pretty much about to expose itself to Shuuga, who was still around.

"Come on, humilliate yourself"

.................................................. ..................

Take 2: Where Hiraeth assumes Kolbertt in fact meant Quills

Ren had stayed where she was, mostly just wondering what the hollow would do. When he launched a number of spiked projectiles at her, she threw herself forwards, diving under the head of the hollow and sliding down underneath his body. This side of him was plated with bone and mostly free from hair, therefore unable to sprout quills, or so she hoped.

As she slid underneath him she aimed a punch at his stomach, and called her zanpaktou blade back towards her. Because it had just expanded outwards, as it returned it began to contract. If Farris didn't get out of the way he'd end up getting sliced in half by it.

Shinn didn't really expect that the knives would affect the opponent that fast. However, Zhe-Quu had started another attack. He ran toward Shinn and seemed to try to headbutt him.

It was quite a good chance for Shinn to use his most powerful attack. If he could destroy the hollow's head, it would be over soon. But he didn't really know how hard that head was. If he did it and failed, his fist would get damaged a lot, and he might get hit cleanly in other area as well. But he decided that the chance was too good to ignore.

Instead of evading, he dashed toward the incoming attack with a shunpo, clenched his right fist and tried to 'punch' Zhe-Quu's head.

It wasn't really a punch, though. As he was punching, three swords grew in his right fist. The three blades slipped between his index, middle, pinky and little finger and grew toward Zhe-quu's head. The tiny hilts remained inside Shinn's fist, pouring out sticky reiatsu that the swords wouldn't be hard to grab. It fixed the swords's position in Shinn's hand. With these blades, it was actually three direct stabs instead of a punch. He could actually grow one more blade at that time, but it would be meaningless since the blade would grow sideways, slipping between the thumb and forefinger.
All this time, he only used knives to observe the situation, and to enable him to let him attack unprepared enemy with his katanas.

Red cutter reiatsu surrounded each of the blades. With this, Zhe-quu's head would receive combined forces from his own speed, Shinn's shunpo, his punch, the sword's growth, and the cutter reiatsu.

'It's quite a gamble, but it worths it. I hope his head is not that hard', Shinn thought. 'If it doesn't work, I'll give him an uppercut stab on the neck with my left fist. It'd better stop him, or I'll be quite a mess'.

Jack vs Katai - Round 2 - Fight!

It seemed Katai had been successful in getting Jack to charge him, but perhaps he had unhinged the Hollow a bit too much. Katai easily dodged the jets of flame sent his way, as they were fired wildly. At this rate, the Hollow would exhaust himself pointlessly. It seemed the fight would be over soon. Katai couldn't help but be slightly disappointed.

But Jack got a hold of himself, and stopped the wild shots. Revealing a skeletal ribcage and a pair of sickles for arms, he continued towards Katai, uttering threats to make him eat his words. The Hollow's sickles began to glow, and a small amount of flame appeared around them.

"Better not get hit by one of those, and I should have a care when blocking them, don't want to set my robes on fire," Katai thought. While he was thinking this, words came out of his mouth, words completely unrelated to his thoughts, words said in an annoying sing-song voice...

"Jack, Jack, he's on crack!
Maybe the drugs are why he's so fat!"

Katai slowly did a drunken looking dance towards Jack, still muttering and singings something, though the words were a bit too soft to make out clearly. Then suddenly, his tone and words seemed to change, and he moved with precision and speed, charging towards Jack and aiming a sword blow at his underside. He was still uttering something half under his breath the whole time, now having moved on from rhymes about drugs to something about a black dog.

Katai didn't know shunpo, but he could be pretty quick when he wanted to. How would Jack react to the sudden attack and change in manners?

The result was pretty straightforward, Julia's acid rain burned and ate away at the flesh of the evacuees. Their little screams of pain was music to her ears as they all collapsed over, dying and what not. Too bad Farris had to go ahead and kill most of the people here, gave her less things to play with. She would have to go around in search of more prey.

Gathering her scythes to her back, she pushed off the ground and took to the skies in search of more things to terrorize. She noticed that most of the helper shinigami in the distance where evacuating other people closer to what she assumed to be the base of the shinigami. She headed in the opposite direction to the 41st district and beyond.

Retsu's right hand went straight to her zanpakuto on her left hip, unsheathing it as she charged the hollow. She varied her movements, hopping from side to side, hoping to divert the enemy's attention to her zanpakuto and her odd style of movement while she charged a byakurai into her left index finger. With a final leap forward, she brought her zanpakuto down with all her strength, slashing at the hollow's left side. Her left arm shot forward, aiming at the hollow's right chest, hoping her diversion worked.

"Hadou no. 4, Byakurai!" she snarled and fired.

"Come out, I know you are not dead yet...."

Isamu could hear, the taunt of the shinigami who had practically taken off his leg. Isamu limped to another spot and although it was just a step away, it felt making that arduous journey to Hueco Mundo again. At least two of my legs are shot, I won't be able to fight back at this point, what do I do? Isamu thought to himself frantically trying to find a solution to this problem finding none. Isamu was in a terrible condition, he walked very awkward, two of his legs bled from the tops result of the incredible blow of the shinigami's blade. Also, the tumble into the building, had slashed a wound into Isamu's side. With some time, Isamu could manage to walk with a certain degree of comfort, but in this situation...time was what he lacked.

A laughter that pretty much sounded like a turkey interrupted Izamu in his hiding place.

"What a pathetic being you are... Do you want some help?"

Wysteria neared Izamu, his magnificent image was imposing.

Isamu racked his mind for solutions, to an answer no matter how dangerous, he had to get away alive. He wished he had abilities to disrupt or distract his opponents(hint?) but he did not, which led to further quelling of his mind. Finally he had come to the conclusion to make a run for it, it was a result of his unbalanced state and quite fevorish mind...Isamu had never been in the position of losing before.

Suddenly a laugh pierced his thoughts and reestablished some sanity within him. Isamu thought that his own mind was laughing at him, his frantic state but the strange Turkey accent, influenced Isamu to turn around and see another hollow.

Isamu considered the hollow an ally at first but that mocking smile and tone, made Isamu want to gut this hollow alive. He spoke in a tone of superiority to Isamu. He thinks he was superior? and treats me as inferior when it is the opposite way around However, a thought provoked his attention. This hollow that wanted Isamu to say he was a stupid bug and nothing more and that he was weak and inferior in exchange for his help and if Isamu refused well then, he would give away his whereabouts to the shinigami, the hollow was essentially blackmailing him into begging for his services, Isamu was however smart and sometimes humiliation was needed to gain necessary allies, not to mention, Isamu didn't few himself as a mantis merely just a temporary fixture, and well he had to admit he was weak. It was as if, his opponent had offered him a game of chess in which he could not lose, to admit defeat in checkers...a game where Isamu did NOT accel...well at least in his current state.

Isamu replied to the new hollow with a turkey voice with a fake yet somewhat truthful answer, "I admit it, it is hard to but in my current state....I haven't proven my strength, only my own patheticness. I am just trash, nothing more, I do not deserve to live, no...I will live to become stronger! I ask...no I beg for your help, I am in dire need and without it, I fear for my life...please I beg of you....oh and sorry I didn't quite catch your name...but I beg of you!!.."

"Thanks Roja and Noira, I'll be leaving. Don't worry, being stealthy is one of my gifts." She opened a Garganta in which she entered and suddenly closed.

From the Garganta, a young woman appeared. She looked in her early twenties, and she had blonde hair, along with dark blue eyes. Mask pieces were located on the lower side of her cheeks, like parts of a mandible. An empty hole was directly above her left breast, near her heart. Gwen, the 69th Número arrived to steal some documents which would be useful for Hueco Mundo's cause.

She arrived at a dark alley. Normally, any soul would be scared and couldn't see its way, but for Gwen, it was different. She has a keen eye and a nocturnal vision to go with it, like the most respectable felids. She eyed the alley, supressed her Reiatsu and slid towards the walls until she saw another Arrancar (CAIDOS). That had to be her partner in the espionage mission, he was a solemn Arrancar, so the mission would be perfect for all of Hueco Mundo. She slowly got near him, she whispered to the Exequías lookalike: "Gwen, Número Sexagésimo Noveno, or 69 for beginners... Don't worry, I'm a Número and you seem to be one too, so our causes should be the same: steal as much information as possible without being detected. What's your name? Just for referring to you in case of confusion."

Speaking from underneath his skull mask, Caidos spoke quietly, saying, "I am Caidos. I'm sure we will work well together, Gwen." Caidos spoke that last statement with a slight hint of a question, as he had no idea what Gwen was like, but as long as she was competent, they'd get along fine.

"And yes, I am here to steal information if possible, but in particular I am to try and recover communication devices. No specifics beyond that were given to me. But just ahead of us is a small group of Shinigami I am tracking, and they are heading towards the Research Division... to look at the newest communication devices. A fortunate development. If we follow them and avoid notice, we should be able to recover what we need."

After saying that, Caidos continued to track the Shinigami, following behind them stealthily. They soon reached the entrance to the Research Division. Now, things might get a bit trickier.

Gwen tiptoed her way along with Caidos, stalking a group of unaware Shinigami to the Research Insitute's entrance. The uneasy ambient was troubling, but the principles of an spy are to keep calm on every moment and control your breathing no matter what happens. Kiso was a researcher himself, he would go on hours and hours about the laws of any self-respecting lab; Gwen hoped those infinite boring lessons would pay off here.

Gwen's stalking predator instincts were on the loose: if she had the skill to sneak a complex lab institution she had to use it or lose it. She got to the conclusion that to make this infiltration successful with a capital "S", she had to work with Caidos as one entity. She took out from her pocket a small earpiece, handed it over to Caidos and whispered to him in an unintentional seductive voice: "In order to make this mission and our work together be great, wear this on any of your ears. Tune it on and we can communicate, no time for explanations. Instead of whispering, you simply would think anything and I will recieve it. That way, we can both be undercover without having to raise our voices..."

Though Shinji was slightly unstable, he still felt the sudden change in the air. He clumsily rolled away from his weapon to avoid any serious damage from the bolt of thunder. Luckily his weapon acted as a lightning rod and all Shinji had to do to dodge was move away from his zanpakutou. He moved his hand to pick up his massive weapon but to his discontent the metal handle shocked his hand causing Shinji to quickly withdraw his hand.

"Ooooooh that's tingly!"

Shinji shook his hand as if he was shaking off the static feeling, he gazed lazily with only one eye open at the sheep Hollow, Schafe. He began to prepare a binding spell, #62 Hundred Steps Fence, in hopes of immobilizing Schafe. He launched the binding spell and quickly followed up by closing the distance between him and the Hollow. As he dashed towards Schafe he charged a byakurai in his finger, ready to shoot the Hollow right between the eyes. Shinji had his hand shaped as if it was a pistol, fully loaded and prepared to fire and if his kidou successfully held Schafe in place he would definitely hit him in a fatal position.

He lay on a tall tower in sereitei outer rims, watching at the skies and at the clouds. Is that a sheep? Is that a plane? This one looks like my math teacher at 5th grade.
At the distance fighting can be heard, screams as well but he don’t care, something that looks like a turtle showed up.

More and more shapes pass across the skies and Marq is enjoying the peace and quiet but eventually the yelling become too loud and he is forced to look at the direction of the fighting.

"let's see, it's pretty far from here…kakurenbo, Sogekihei," the short blade changes to a long cone like device that resembles a sniper rifle, "let's see what we have here…" he peeked into the battle area.

First he checked the greatest source of reitsu around, it seemed like it was the 4th division captain fighting a big wolf hollow. Using his scope he aimed carefully, at the 4th division skirt that is, "nice legs…" helping here would be pointless, that wolf hollow is too strong for Marq to do damage and how long can he stare at those legs? He moved on to the second source.

It seems that the 6th division VC is fighting a sheep…an electrical sheep no less! Marq wondered why someone would fire electricity at an electric sheep…he moved on, this wasn’t a battle he wanted to take part of.

Next he saw a shinigami fighting what seemed like a skeletal horror with flames…hitting a ribcage is hard…next.

This time Marq found something interesting…a pair of hollows were hiding from a dark skinned shinigami with a very nice afro, they seemed to argue as the shinigami looked for his prey, Marq started to hum to himself the words of the song 'another one bites the dust' of queen as he aimed to his target.
"And another one bites the dust…" he fired at the pile of junk and rubble that hid the pair of hollows, the concentrated beam swept the dust and aside, exposing both hollows to shuga.

happy with his minor contribution to the war effort Marq got up, packed his stuff and moved to another position a few blocks away, a sniper don’t hit from the same spot twice.

Julia continued her journey across the skies of Rukongai, throwing a scythe here, shooting a cero over there, letting acid rain around all around in any general direction. With all the people around and buildings destroyed she was sort of reminded of some Godzilla movies she had seen back when she was but a human. She swooped down and picked up a few fleeing citizens, crunched them up into a ball shape and started tossing them at other people.

Gwen tiptoed her way stalking the unaware Shinigami to the lab door. Many discussions about science were heard, something that reminded her to Número 27 (Kiso). Towards the speaker, Kiso instructed her to keep herself undercover. He gave her the "Eye in the Sky" radar to monitor the surrounding area of Gwen over a large radius, so she would know if there is anyone near her.

The hard surface in the floor made any footstep sound a bit, but Gwen's rubber boots made her stealthier than usual. The Shinigamis got close enough to a door, where it seemed some laser technology was being employed. When Gwen was a human child, she was an expert on evading lasers, and she crossed her fingers hoping she hasn't lost it. Caidos was directly in front of her, Gwen ocassionally turned her head to see if there was someone else. It seemed to her they were the only Arrancar in Soul Society.

Farris was slightly curious as to what a Shinigami would do in such an odd possition... But he couldn't forget, his opponent was a captain. As such, he'd leave the obvious chance to rip her throat open by just biting her - And opted for a much elaborated attack.

By gathering reiatsu in his legs, he jumped to a ridiculously high height. He then kicked the air back, and impulsed the natural speed of the free fall with his own powers... As he neared Ren, he curled on himself - Gathering reiatsu on his hide.

The effect was quiet interesting. The Farris' fur had hardened to the point where they looked like actual spikes instead of mere quills. Of course, Farris was spinning this whole time, so it looked more like a massive irregular ball falling than a spiked one.

The Captain would probably be able to dodge the falling ball, but the true danger of the attack came at the moment Farris touched the floor... At that moment, the high speed would launch uncountable spikes all around the place with the same speed Farris was falling. It was a technique even the Third Espada recognized as dangerous.

Let's see how well you fare captain...

The blades pierced Zhe-Quu's hard rock skull through the convined efforts of Shinn's sharpened blades, his strength, and his own speed.

However, the blades where insignificant in size when compared to the gargantuan Gillian's head - So the attack was not as effective as when Shinn slashed through his neck. The result, was not as good on Shinn's part. He had received quiet a damage on his hand... It was still good to be used, but he'd probably not stand up a second blow of this magnitude.

Even if everytime he headbutted the blades pierced more and more into Zhe-Quu's head, he still continued attacking via the use of headbutts.

Jack was seriously loosing it. The energy he had been saving up from the previous jet flames was now accumulating on his eyes. His opponent was acting in a hard to predict way, but that kind of strategy was useless agains Jack, who just runned after him attempting slash after slash.

Jack couldn't reach Katai, but Katai had decided to move forward... And that would be his undoing.

At the moment Jack intercepted Katai's blade out of sheer luck, a small "Click" was heard, and Something strange happened. All the reiatsu Jack had been gathering suddenly exploded in a flame blast of around two metres width. Not really caring what had happened with his opponent, Jack started laughing

"Jijijijij... SEE!! THE POWER OF JACK THE BOMB!!!"

Azul was not experienced on Shinigami fighting with this horribly slow body. She was naturally cautios of the Sword Retsu wielded, so she could deflect it just in time. However, the byakurai had hit her straight in the chest.

"Why you little!!"

As she held her chest in pain with her left hand, Azul pointed at Retsu with her right hand wide open. From each of her fingers, a stream of pure light appeared and started moving like strings. Each of these whips of light where slowly closing on Retsu from five different directions at a surprisingly fast speed.

"The name is Wysteria, you trash... But you know your place, and I like that. Sit down and watch as I destroy your killer"

Without saying much more, Wysteria remained silently introduced his tails in the ground. Not much later, from where Shuuga was standing, a quintet of strange flowers that seemed to have mouths appeared.

Each one of them started oozing a strange golden dust, but more importantly, they all lunged after Shuuga.

Wysteria seemed utterly focused on this task, and didn't really pay any kind of attention on Izamu or his movements...

However, he DID notice when the wall that was covering them both exploded out of the blue.

"What the fuck?"

Schafe was annoyed when the various rods impaled him to a wall. It was already annoying to have to deal with such an opponent, but not even performing a proper chant? Was this guy even at Schafe's level?

Just when Schafe was gathering strength to break free, he couldn't help but smirking when the Shinigami prepared a Byakurai. Instead of even attempting to dodge it, he simply let the byakurai hit him.

The electricity from the attack was completelly absorbed by Schaffe's woolen body, gathering as static - The wool swolle up, and broke Schafe free from the prision of the pilars, at the time it pushed a surprised Shinji back. A stronger and recharged Schafe leapt down his head and attempted to slash Shinji with his sparkling horn.

Hanako soon found herself completelly surrounded by countless bodies from the many dead Rokungai citizens... What scared her the most, where not the many zombies that attacked her, but rather her own denial to cut the many bodies down.

"This inhabilty to destroy my opponents... Is vexing"

The confusion runned in her mind, and the increasing mountain of bodies was getting out of control even for her unnaturally large strength... Soon after, she crumbled under the weight.

You are such a doll... You cannot even bring yourself to do your mission correctly?

"This situation is out of my league..."

"Out of my league" my ass. You are using that as an excuse to be lazy.

"It's for certain my possibilities for success will increase if you lend me your strength..."

"Like I'd help a doll like you... Oh wait! I know why you are so hesitant to slash them down!! They have as little personality as YOU do!"

"That statement doesn't make sense..."

GOOD GOD!! Do you even listen to yourself speaking? You sound like a damn cheap robot! Go die already Barbie doll!

"I am no... Doll..."

Meanwhile, Bael approached the mountain of corpses. He had already raised his staff, and was going to quietly smash everything in it. Hanako and the many corpses in it.

See? All the mindless dolls will be blown up now - Hope you are happy...

"Shut up..."

What did you say? I couldn't listen to you

"SHUT UP!!"

Bael hesitated for only a second. "I thought I heard something... What a weird feeling"

However, in that mere second, the mountain of corpses flew away. Hanako had emerged from inside it. She was slashed by the countless nails, beaten by the many punches, but still standing strong.

"I won't allow you to defile these people's precious remains"

Bael was slightly shocked, but he only laughed at it. He lowered the staff, attempting to smash Hanako... Who didn't move and only unsheathed her sword.

In the middle of the 12th division - Everyone was getting nervous over the whole situation going on.

"Hey! We need help here!! Where is Otowari-Taicho?"

"We don't know!! We cannot access any kind of comunication with him"

"Shit, this is bad. Takada-Taicho is there, but they haven't received any kind of support yet... There's even an Adjucha free there!! Shit!! What the hell do we do?!"

"If the situation comes to worse, we'll have to use... "That" - But let's not resort until the situation is out of control"

"Well, using that would work... But we cannot afford to lose that many... Let's wait a bit more"

The voices in the science division where interrupting each other. But there was one prominent scream that froze both Caidos and Gwen...

"SIR!!! WE FOUND A READING OF ARRANCAR ENERGY!! THEY ARE HERE!!"

"What the hell?! That's impossible! Everyone, spread!! We must alert the remaining captains. What are the power levels?!"

"They are both green light energy sir..."

"Possibility of error?"

"27%"

"Redo the scanning until you get 0 probability of error. We cannot risk diverting our forces over a possible distraction.

The two of you - Go search the area. I want you back in 15 minutes with a complete report. Keep the research room guarded at all times. The two of you, go to it's door - Take your cellphones with you and do a routine report every 15 minutes. I want no delay in it..."

The one giving out the orders remained unseen to Caidos and Gwen, who where now sticking to the roof, as they saw two parties leave in complete opposite directions.

"This is probably... The beggining of a war..."

Ren didn't even bother getting up as the wolf hollow spun towards her. "Che."

Her opponent seemed to have forgotten her zanpaktou completely, but unfortunately for him, she hadn't. Oboroduki had returned to her mistress, and now Ren simply flicked a wrist, altering the blades direction so it was now streaking upwards directly towards Farris. He was still blind to the danger, and even if he did become aware of it he was moving too fast to be able to alter his course.

Ren croocked a finger, and the blade tilted slightly in response, with any luck this would shave off a layer of the creature's flesh, and hopefully some of those spikes too.

Shuga was about to move into the debris cloud when he was stopped by the sudden appearance of a rather strange group of mouthed flowers springing from the ground.

Is this one of that guy's abilities....?

As they lunged at him, Shuga jumped onto the rooftop he had decended from earlier. To his surprise, a bolt of energy flew into the debris cloud clearing it in an instant. To his surprise, there were now two hollows.

These flower things were probably a technique of the second hollow.Where the heck did he come from?

Shuga couldn't be sure if the attack which cleared the smoke was from a friend or a foe. Deciding to try and fight with cover in mind, he jumped back down to street level.

"Induce the action, ...."

He made an attack at one for the flowers, trying to cut it from its stalk.

Retsu emotionlessly leapt straight into the air in an attempt to dodge the light whips charging after her. Unfortunately, her feint had brought her into close combat range, and being hit was unavoidable. She felt a whip slash into her shoulder, leaving a good sized cut as it hit with more blunt impact than she'd expected. She also felt something graze her thigh, another light cut as the whips knocked her backwards. She flipped as she was falling back to the ground, landing on her feet and leaping straight up into the air. If that's how this hollow was going to play, she'd have to be more cautious and avoid close combat. The third seat placed both her hands on the hilt of her zanpakuto, holding it squarely in front of her as she released.

Kiso seemed to be distracted by Roja's antics again at the other side of the speaker and Gwen had to idealize her own strategy to confound the Shinigami which were several meters below her eye's view.

Caidos remained quiet the whole time as if he was drifting on painful memories. Gwen started to lose her patience and spoke to the pseudo-Exequias in a frantic, but still low tone of voice that wasn't heard by the loudly speaking Shinigami:

"You don't seem to speak a lot. I'm quite sure you still don't understand what's under your nose and are thinking of some pretty plans to succeed in the mission. Since I feel charitable today, I shall offer you my point of view: there are two teams of Shinigami, one that is the reconnaissance squad and another one whose main purpose is to take note of whatever happens near the main lab door. They've got orders to report every 15 minutes. So, since Shinigami are so sheepish to do what they are told to in a specific way, they will call. Then, we both strike from the dark, either convince them to lie to their superiors that everything's fine or do some voice acting instead. Later, since we will notify them that everything is all right, the lab door will be empty and we'll both get stealing documents. Remember to take some cellphones with you. Can you dig it?"

((I didn't know it was so big lol))
A feeling of intense pain spread through Shinn's body. His hand suffered quite a damage. The bone crackled but hadn't really broken. He quickly stopped the attack and jumped backward to avoid further damage.

The blades pierced through but seemed to have done only little damage. 'Maybe the brain is so tiny and most of it is just skull', he thought, although he had never known whether a hollow had a brain or not. It seemed to be what was left from his knowledge when he was alive, although he could no longer remember a thing about his life as human.

'I'll try this then', he thought again. Since the enemy no longer attacked in random pattern, it was obvious that he had to depend on his senses to locate Shinn. 'Hurting his eyes might worth trying. If he closes it, the attack will stop, and it will give me time to sneak and attack his neck. From what I've seen before, it seems to be weaker than his head', he thought.

He dropped his swords and jumped backwards. In each of his hands, four knives were formed. He focused to aim at his eyes, and threw all those eight knives.

Marq watched the battle from his hidden position, it seems like everything was going pretty well but then he noticed a single hollow that was wrecking havoc without anyone to stop it, he aimed his released Zanpakutou and tried to gauge the hollow power, it was strong…too strong…so strong it made Marq wonder why no one with power even tried to block this monster path.

If no one is going to do anything against this hollow, Marq will, but not before he will prepare himself, dying is not in the mission plan. A few minutes later everything was set, the bombs and the ropes, he will have the upper hand when it comes to preparation...at least that...

Marq was standing at the window of a building which was placed at the end of a big alley, several hundred meters from his target, a big something with several flying scythes and a pretty good batting arm, Marq aimed carefully for the head, prayed for god that this hollow isn’t fast enough, and fired.

Caidos and Gwen - Inside the 12th Division

Caidos took the device Gwen offered him and slipped it on under his mask. He wasn't certain whether it would work inside the Science Division, but if it did, it would be incredibly useful.

The two of them then managed to sneak their way into the Science Division, slipping past some security devices in the process. The place was in a bit of an uproar, and the Shinigami they had followed there were soon diverted from their original plans for the day, as the invasion of many powerful Hollows meant they didn't have time to just casually look at communication devices. So, it seemed that Caidos and Gwen would not be able to simply follow them for an easy mission success. Still, they were inside the division and undetected for the moment, so things were going well.

As Caidos and Gwen hung from a ceiling near a room full of Shinigami, they overhead a very interesting conversation. The Shinigami were talking about some sort of unknown device, "that" they called it, with the ability to stop the Hollow incursion. Apparently the device wasn't perfect (perhaps it lacked precision), and would cause the loss of the defending Shinigami as well; at least that was the impression Caidos got.

This device sounded like it could be a great threat. It wouldn't matter if it did kill all the invading Hollow: they were simply a distraction anyways, but if this weapon was as powerful as it sounded and could be mobilized and then used against targets inside Hueco Mundo, it could be disastrous. Learning about the weapon was not his assigned mission, but if there was any way to gather data without endangering the other mission, Caidos would certainly do so.

Before he had much time to come up with a plan, though, a panicked scream caught his attention. It seemed they had at last been detected, though their position was still unknown. Caidos watched one group head off in a direction that would take them near where Caidos and Gwen had been just a bit earlier. That was the search group. The other group headed in the opposite direction. That group was supposed to guard the doors of the Research Room.

Caidos was pondering and attempting to come up with a good plan, when Gwen's annoyed voice broke through his thoughts. She thought that they should go after the Shinigami who had been told to guard the lab door, and he agreed. He added one further thing to her plan. "While we are in the lab, we should search in particular for anything regarding the 'that' mentioned by the Shinigami a bit earlier. Also, the lab door itself may have some sort of security system, so we should make the Shinigami tell us how to open it without setting off any alarms. They may try to lie to us, so we will have to be... persuasive."

Jack vs Katai - Round 3 - Fight!

"...claw out your own throat! Bakudou #9: Hit!"

In the 11th Division, kido was uncommon, and generally considered weak and stupid, a method for cowards. Katai didn't fully agree. But he usually avoided using the binding spells he knew anyways, in order to avoid the scorn of his squadmates. But in a case like this, with captain class Hollows invading Soul Society itself and Menos all around, it was unlikely that he'd be noticed.

Katai finished his kido chant just after his attack struck Jack. The freak somehow managed to block the blow, but Katai didn't care, as he held out one arm and fired off the kido spell. As far as Katai could tell, the pumpkin was totally unaware of the fact that the nonsense he had been uttering had changed into something else: something that still sounded like nonsense to the uneducated, but had a deadly purpose. Thus, Jack should be unprepared and unable to dodge the binding spell, especially considering it was being fired at point blank range.

But before Katai could celebrate his apparent success or even confirm that it was a success, a strange click was heard, and a blast of flame spewed forth from Jack. Katai tried to throw himself backwards, but was unable to completely escape the flames. He smelt singed clothes, and noticed his robes were on fire. He quickly did a rolling maneuver that put out the flames, but as he regained his feet, the pain in his body and the blurring of his vision let him know that his clothes were not the only thing that had gotten burned. At least it didn't seem too bad, but it was annoying.

Jack was now bragging and laughing, saying something about a bomb. He seemed almost to have forgotten Katai already. Katai couldn't tell whether his kido spell hit or not: the red glow that seemed to surround Jack might just be the result of Katai's not yet fully recovered vision. Jack certainly didn't seem to think he had been hit. But then again, Jack was an idiot who had just released a bunch of power, so he might not have noticed an inability to move yet.

Katai charged forth, preparing to make another strike against Jack. The pumpkin would be most likely unable to create another flame wreath for some time, but their were still his claws to deal with, so Katai had a small dose of caution, in case his kido had missed. He didn't think that was the case, though. If the pumpkin was in fact immobilized, he'd likely suffer a fatal blow.

For once, Katai attacked in complete silence. This time he'd save his taunts till after the attack finished.

Gwen got an answer from her silent partner Caidos, who added that once inside the lab they should steal the secret weapon of the Shinigami and convince the reconnaissance team to tell them the truth about the lab's security. Gwen curved her lip upwards with an air of self-confidence and mentally asked to Caidos to see if her device worked.

"Do you hear me? It would seem like I was speaking in your head, but in reality no one can listen to us. Okay, let's stalk the reconnaissance squad, my blade's japanese name is Quick Disgrace Lord. If they won't answer to us, I'll degrade them psychologically. There's no need to anyways, I have a way with words. :noworry If there's a special power of yours for the sake of the mission, comment me about it. Combining our powers, this mission will be flawless."

She was waiting for Caidos's answers, until she realized the earpiece was actually broken.

"Well... that was crap." She smashed the earpiece on her hand and referred to Caidos: "What do you have to aid this mission? Kiso's earpiece actually was useless anyway, remove it if you will."

Gwen and Caidos -

"Ah, so the device was not working. A shame, but nothing to do about it now." Caidos removed the device from him and handed it back to Gwen, maybe the one who gave it to her would want to analyze it later, or perhaps Gwen would enjoy snapping that device as well.

"As for my abilities, one of my release abilities will be useful if I need to suddenly return to Las Noches alone, but it may not be usuable depending on the amount of material I need to bring back with me. In my unreleased form, I have the ability to alter my appearance however I desire. I cannot get rid of my mask fragment, but I can alter its coloration, and make it look like something other than a Hollow mask.

I cannot alter my voice the same way I do my appearance, but I possess some talent in disguising my voice the normal way. Combine that with my appearance changing, and I could probably cause some uncertity and confusion among the Shinigami if need be."

Gwen took Caidos's earpiece and smashed it. When Caidos explained to Gwen his abilities, Gwen was putting up the details that surrounded her and melded them into the ultimate plan. Gwen was swift, fast and seductive, Caidos was fast, not only that, he could warp to distinct spots and even alter his appearance. Gwen gave the full description of the strategy to Caidos:

"This makes things easier, we will stalk the reconnaissance squad and kidnap one of its members from the shadows after the 15 minute call is done. You will pose as that member and ask for information. It's preferrable if we kidnap someone who sports a goatee, anyway. Later, you will convince them you have already dealt with the Arrancar and then the suspects will be gone. You will return to the lab, steal the documents, some cellphones, many devices in secret. I will be hiding in the shadows helping you. That's my idea anyway, something else to add?"

Gwen and Caidos

(OOC: Oops, I think I realize now I misread a previous post of yours, and thus got confused about the current plan. Attempting to fix that now.)

Caidos considered Gwen's new idea. He'd prefer to head straight to the lab if possible, and simply ignore the recon group. But depending on what instruments they had, they might be able to detect faint traces of Reiatsu from Gwen and Caidos's previous movements, and thus confirm the presence of Arrancar. That would put the place on high alert and bring more powerful Shinigami swarming into the area.

On the other hand, Caidos really wanted to get into the lab. And every moment they were inside the Division they also risked detection. If they were detected and were not already near or inside the lab at the time, getting into it later would probably become near impossible. Caidos therefore wanted to approach the lab as soon as possible, not head in the opposite direction.

"Your plan might work," he told Gwen, "but it is risky. Kidnapping only a single member of the recon squad without alerting the other would be tough, so we would likely need to incapicate both. I could then still try and imitate one of them, of course. But they've both been ordered to return personally after 15 minutes: if I showed up disguised as only one of them, or we tried reporting using their cell phones, it might work, or it might raise suspicion.

And if anything went wrong and we were discovered, it would become very difficult to get into the lab.

I actually suggest we split up. Normal Shinigami, especially science grunts, are unlikely to be able to stand up to even Numero class Arrancar. You follow the recon squad, and stay hidden for a while unless they show signs of discovering our presence. When they are about to head back, or when they discover our presence, you take them out and steal their cell phones. Then try to issue a fake report over the phones, or get the squad members to do it for you.

It may not work, so if the alarm gets raised, you take the cell phones and get out. Don't worry about me, I should be able to escape using my ability, and even if I can't, completing the mission and getting the communication devices out is more important.

Hopefully, by the time you are attacking the recon squad, I'll already be in the lab. I'll of course attempt to steal as much information and equipment as possible, including cell phones.

Doing things this way, we have two chances to complete our primary mission of stealing communication devices. Even if one of us fails, the other may still be able to succeed."

Gwen listened to Caidos's new plan and simply said: "Let's do it, the quicker the better. I'm one of the fastest and most stealthy Números, at one instance I took out a team of ten Adjuchas hollows without being detected. Okay, but there's one problem though: the lab is supposed to be vigiled. Unless you can pose as a member and request entrance, I don't think things are going well from your side. Anyways, I will be going to watch prey from afar . Wish me luck, I wish you luck. God sided with the Arrancar this time."

Gwen went into a dark shadow and started stalking silently the reconnaissance squad. Her developed eyes and ears allowed her to know if anything was going wrong. What was "that" which was supposed to destroy Arrancar? If Caidos stole it successfully, then the Shinigami would have losses. They won many battles before and the Arrancar have failed, it was time to turn the tides.

Gwen, Número 69, feline predatory (JAGUAR) adjuchas-class Arrancar was now observing the squad's movements, awaiting further suspiction from them. If anything went wrong either she ran away or use a portable Caja Negación. She was Kiso's top-ranking subordinate, and she would not ruin this mission for Hueco Mundo.

Caidos

"Do not worry, I have a few ideas on how to deal with the two guarding the lab. And good luck to you as well." Caidos didn't think much of luck, but it seemed the polite way to respond to Gwen. Not that he cared much about politeness either, but if there was a chance he'd have to work with Gwen more, it would be best if they got along well.

Caidos then began to stalk in the direction that led to the lab, carefully moving foward until he caught a glimpse of the two Shinigami that had headed that direction. He'd follow them to the lab, then make his final plans once he got an idea of what sort of place the lab entrance was like.

Shinji watched as Schafe purposely took the Byakurai head on, allowing his wool to absorb the static electricity and empower the sheep-like Hollow. Shinji muttered a short string of inaudible curse words as he narrowly avoided Schafe's sparkling horn, retreating back to his zanpakuto.

Heh, how stupid o' me. Attackin' him wit a lightning based kidou.

His foolish decision to employ a lightning kidou against Schafe was more or less attributed to his unstable condition, next time he would refrain from repeatedly convincing himself that one more couldn't hurt. Blood erupted from his shoulder, seeping through his shihakusho.

"Tch," Shinji glared at Schafe from a distance, "I'm thinkin' I should wake up an' take ya seriously. Gettin' cut up like this is a real pain..."

Shinji grasped his weapon and in one swift movement pulled it from the ground, he let out a nonchalant sigh as he rotated his neck and loosened up his shoulders. He spun the weapon in his hand carelessly as he prepared to launch his next attack.

"Ya know..." he said, still spinning his zanpakuto, "this weapon is such a hassle, it's freakin' troublesome havin' ta have ta carry this bulky weapon around."

As he spoke Shinji began to pour his reiatsu into his large weapon, preparing to send a powerful wave of destructive energy at Schafe. This time Shinji wouldn't hit him with a Byakurai. No, this time he had something much more... explosive in mind.

Shinji quickly swung his weapon releasing a crescent wave of dark violet reiatsu. Hoping that this attack would serve as a mere distraction Shinji wasted no time and hastily followed up by charging in behind the purple energy, hoping that it would prevent Schafe from catching a glimpse of the oncoming Shinigami, chanting the incantation for the fiery kidou, Twin Lotus Blue Fire, Crash Down (Sōren Sōkatsui).

Just before the moment of impact Shinji burst into shunpo appearing above what he hoped would be an unaware Schafe. He sent the spheres of blue fire directly down towards Schafe with the intent to inflict some heavy damage and maybe burn off some of that annoying wool. Shinji dashed downwards, his weapon held high, and aimed a powerful stroke at Schafe's horn in an attempt to cleave through it and hopefully render it useless.

As Julia amused herself with batting Rukongai citizens in various directions she felt a small pang on the side of her head. Something tiny had struck her, it wasn't that damaging, but it was strong enough to be a nuisance. Now what little fly dare interrupt her...

She turned to the direction she felt the little something had come from and spat a couple blasts of acid to try and see if anything interesting would turn up.

'Fuck, no affect…now she knows where I am…you are an idiot Marq…should've let her kill the civilians…' Marq sighed and dashed a couple of meters to the right, still staying inside the protective walls of the building. He watched as the spheres of what seemed like acid smashed into the building, dissolving it like it was paper, 'dangerous' he thought to himself.

She was still very far away, about 500 meters; another shot would pretty much be useless if targeted at the same spot, at least with his current level of strength. So Marq decided to aim for something more vulnerable and soft, he decided to fire in her neck, still trying to aim for a one hit kill without facing the tough shell of the adjucha mask. He took a big breath, aimed and fired at neck just below the groin when a thought passed his mind 'Do I really want to piss her off?'

Farris/Ren
Gravity was pulling him faster. His reiatsu propelled him downwards like a rocket, and the quills had hardened to their maximum. Everything was going as expected, except that the captain hadn't moved an inch at all...

Farris had predicted that the captain would instinctivelly dodge the enemy, preferring to remain unharmed instead of taking the chance of a free shot... This captain in particular, didn't seem to be afraid of pain... Was did this sudden respect he was starting to feel for his opponent mean?

The blade was just a small issue - Farris just unleashed a sudden batch of reiatsu on his side, dodging a fatal blow. The speed he had gained was too much to stop now. He had been slightly derailed, so the effect would not be as he had calculated... but it would still serve.

The moment Farris touched the ground, the million spikes in his body exploded like a shrapnel granade. Of a considerable size, they moved too fast to be dodged, since they had the added momentum of the fall, Farris' speed, and a third accelerating factor created by Farris reiatsu.

Ren could feel how the quills had definitelly penetrated her left leg, seriously damaging it, and most of her left hand she had used to cover her face.

Farris was now smiling, a wide cut that run from the operture of his mouth to a good part of his thorax was bleeding profuselly, but he didn't even flinch.

"I'm amazed you stayed low... Pure luck? Or did you manage to see through my attack? One way or another, ready yourself, this is far from over"

Zhe-Quu/Shinn
When the knives pierced the eye-socket of the mask, Zhe-Quu raised his head in pain - An opening Shinn used to lunge forward and slash the already weakened neck.

Zhe-Quu's head flew up - An unrealistic amount of blood sprayed the whole area, putting a dramatic closure on Shinn's victory. The limp and headless neck felt down. The rest of the body gave a step or two before finally falling limp and motionless on the ground, where it remained still.

Jack/Katai
Jack was too euphoric to see the Shinigami on flames. There was nothing that aroused him as much as setting things in fire, a small side-effect from his life as an arsonist, so he was naturally enjoying the fact that the burning Shinigami was coming back for a second little blast.

However, as he prepared to intercept the blade, he noticed something... He was completelly immobile.

When had this happened? He couldn't tell. As attempted to move, he clumsily felt down, and saw how Katai neared with his sword held high.

Desperation took control over him. In a blind struggle, Jack spent all his forces on just breaking free of this strange energy that held him tight. Katai was closer. The bends where slowly loosening... but would he make it in time?

A clear "Click" was heard, and everything was swallowed by a sudden blast. Katai had been able to get back this time - The explosion had been both slower and weaker... But now Jack could move freely.

Far from euphoric, he seemed stressed. "Jeez Shinigami... You are being a pain in my bony ass"

Wysteria&Izamu/Shuga
As Shuga clearly cutted the first plant, a golden pollen emerged from it and the plant withered. Nothing else happened by it's death... The other plants, however, where genuinelly pissed off that one of their partners had been killed and rammed Shuga -

Meanwhile, Wysteria had now mysteriously dissappeared, before e
