Downtown Section

[Aoi Innocence]

{OOC: A place where Living World characters come to do just about anything when they aren't preoccupied with any missions. No plot at all and mostly a place where characters can take a break.}

Downtown Karakura

Downtown contains many shops and restaurants for any tourist attraction. Big businesses are found here and most of the citizen's daily jobs are mostly in the right hand corner. Many homes for the citizens are located here, ranging from condos to apartments. The local schools are in the back and left of town.

There are a lot of rush hours and crowded streets. Most places for your entertainment are in the middle and there is a local park.

Kokoro moved through the sea of bodies that crowded the street. She was feeling a little tired after what happen and all she cared for was getting home and laying in her bed. Finally escaping the crowd, she continued on towards her apartment.

"At least a couple of things went right for me today." Crossing the street, she entered a modern styled apartment complex. The receptionist waved at her only to receive a very tired yawn. Grabbing the key to her apartment from the receptionist, Kokoro waited on the elevator.

A loud ding sound vibrated in her ears and she stepped in, pushing the button to the 7th floor. The way up was long and smooth, making her feel tired even more. Stepping out the elevator, she walked down the hallway that seem to last forever in her opinion. The hallway was brightly lit and the wallpaper was that of a cream color. Marble flooring matched with the wallpaper. The doors were made of dark wood and the apartment numbers were labeled right next to the door.

Stopping in front of room 416, Kokoro twist the key in the keyhole and swung the door open to her apartment. The place was very modern style with a small sized kitchen on her right, the living room and the balcony that allowed you to see the activities of the town. There was also a medium-sized bedroom and 2 bathrooms. The wallpaper in the living was red while the carpet was a per white. The living room had two cream colored couches and a clear glass coffee table centered in the middle. The balcony window was draped with long flowing curtains and the T.V and complex center was on the wall in the middle.

Stumbling over to her couch, Kokoro dropped her backpack on the ground and fall on her back on her couch. Staring at the ceiling, she slowly closed her eyes, falling asleep.

It was around 3:45 on a Friday afternoon. Souji awoke to find himself in a most awkward position. The upper half of his body was laying over the side of the bed and his head was resting against the hard wooden floor. His arms were splayed out on both sides of him. Both legs were laying atop the blanket. There was a small ache already throbbing in his lower lumbar region. He blinked his blurry purple eyes a few times before attempting to manuver his entire body off of the bed.

A solid thud sounded as Souji failed miserably and only ended up in a more uncomfortable position, but at least all of him was now on the floor. T'was much easier to get up that way. The teenager groaned as he sat up and stretched, effectively popping the cricks out of his back. He then felt something akin to liquid sliding down the side of his right cheek. His hand was brought up to touch it and came away with blood. "Oops... I hurt myself again. Better get another bandaid.", Souji sighed.

With that, he stood up and made an attempt to straighten the blanket on the bed before moving off towards his bathroom. He cleaned himself up, changed clothes, wrapped the string around his forearms, and bandaged the cut on his cheek all within half an hour.

Now, Souji was sitting at the small table in the kitchen, happily eating a bowl of Lucky Charms cereal for his first meal of the day. "Yay! I get to start my day with rainbows and moons and all those pretty things...", the teenager chuckled in delight. "Hmm... Oh, yeah. After I'm done eating, I need to finish that new painting for Mitsukishi-san..." His finally checked the clock on the wall and his eyes widened slightly as the true time of day registered in his mind. "Eh... What's another missed day? Let's see, what's up for tomorrow...", Souji said, bringing another spoonful of cereal up towards his mouth.

Kokoro slowly opened her eyes, her vision slightly blurry. The sun shone onto her face, causing her to place her hands over her eyes. Slowly sitting up, she swung her legs over her the side of her couch and stood up. She stretch her body, arching her back slightly, and raising her arms as high as she could get them. A long yawn escaped her lips and she looked around her apartment. Her eyes hit the clock on on the wall.

"Ah, past 2:30 already. Oh well, that gives me time to do what I before meeting Blair." A thud sounded from the opposite and Kokoro giggled slightly. Seems like Souji was up and running. She stared at her wrinkle clothes and sighed.

"To the bathroom!" Running to the bathroom that was down the hall, Kokoro closed the door behind her. She cleaned herself off, picked out a new outfit, brush her hair, and stepped out her apartment.

"I wonder what Souji-kun is up to?" Stopping by her neighbor's door, she push the doorbell button.

Souji had just finished putting the empty bowl and spoon into the sink when his doorbell rang. He chuckled, practically bouncing out of the kitchen and up to his door. One small peek through the eyehole revealed that his visitor was his neighbor, Kokoro-chan. "Oh!", he said, opening the door wide. "Good afternoon, Kokoro-chan! How was school today? I didn't go because I was still asleep... Stayed up all night working on a new painting." As hyper as ever, Souji barraged his younger friend with an extended greeting.

"Yo, Souji-kun!"

Stepping inside her friend's apartment, she stretched slightly before turning towards him.

"I didn't go to school today. Two reasons why. One," She held her index finger up for Souji to see," I found the lessons easy and unimportant. Blair said that they were going over the Meiji era in history. Twp," She hold up her other finger," I found this awesome laptop in the store in the other idea and I couldn't give up the opportunity put it on reserve. Though I need a job."

Crossing her arms and leaning on the kitchen counter, Kokoro blew a strand of hair out her face.

"So, you working on a new painting. Did you finish it?" She said, enthusiastically, wanting to see Souji's new piece of art.

Souji's smile stayed in place as his friend turned to face him. He listened to her explaination of why she too had not attended school that day, giggling like a child as she held up index and middle fingers while emphasizing her reasons. "Well, Kokoro-chan, the animal clinic down the street is hiring assistants... Maybe you could apply there, since you need a job.", the teenager offered, moving to join his friend at the kitchen counter.

"I don't really need the job. Mitsukishi-sensei pays me whenever I agree to model for the college art class students so I'm good! In fact, I have to model tomorrow.", Souji chuckled. He soon quieted down as Kokoro-chan inquired about his painting. "No, it isn't done yet. I was going to finish it today. But you can see it, if you'd like! C'mon!"

The teenager moved away from the kitchen and walked down the hallway, which led to a small room in the back. This room had officially become Souji's art studio. Well, of a sort, anyway. Newspapers completely covered the entire wooden floor. Most were covered in old paint that was dry and cracking. He'd have to remember to change them soon. The lighting was different, altered. Souji told his friends that it was to perfectly accentuate each painting that was created in the room.

In the center of the sea of newspapers, there was a canvas that was covered with a pale white sheet. He moved over to it and swiftly removed the cover with a simple tug. It revealed the painting beneath. "The coloring isn't quite finished yet... But that aside, what do you think of it, Kokoro-chan? I'm always interested in hearing the honest critiques of a friend.", Souji said, turning to look at her.

"The animal clinic would be nice, but I'll have to wait until i get word from this other place I applied at." Kokoro smiled at as Souji inquired that his painting wasn't done. She smiled even more when he said she could see it. Following him down to his art studio. When Souji removed the white fabric that covered his work of art, she gasped. She stared at it, admiring every single detail.

"It's beautiful, Souji-kun! It looks realistic enough to be real." Kokoro turned to look at her friend.

"You now, I say this all the time, but I can definitely see your artwork in a museum one day."

Tenaku walked down the park path slowly. He'd been wandering around the city for hours now. "No work, no school, nothing to do.." he said to himself as he looked up toward the trees. Looking back ahead of him he could see a bench. Taking advantage of a place to rest he walked to it, plopping himself down onto it. Leaning back he closed his eyes to block out the sudden increase in sunlight. It was days like this he wished that he didn't drop out of school. Slowly he let his thoughts drift around in his head, eventually falling asleep in the process.

About a hour an a half later he awoke to foot steps. Shaking his head he opened his eyes to see that the park was now full. Joggers, mom and children, businessmen in suits on their way to work, ect. Looking to his side he saw a rather large man eating some food. Placing a hand on his grumbling stomach he remembered that he hadn't eaten that morning. "That must have been hours ago..." he said quietly to himself as he stood up. Quickly taking a look around he decided that he'll go out to eat for now instead of going home to cook. With a smile and hands in pockets he started off toward one of the restaurants near his apartment.

Eventually Tenaku reached his destination. The place really had no name but he knew it served food. Walking through the door he found himself a seat in one of the corner tables. Taking a wiff of the air he could smell the special for the day, bacon and chicken burgers. Leanign back into his chair he waited for someone to take his order. Within moments someone had come, then moments later they were back with a plain burger. With his stomach growling he started into the burger.

Kokoro: "You now, I say this all the time, but I can definitely see your artwork in a museum one day."

Souji turned a thoughtful gaze back to his latest piece of work, seemingly lost in his own thoughts for a few moments. That was a very common trait in most great artists. A small smile slowly blossomed on the teenager's lips. He turned brightened purple eyes to his friend.

"Thank you very much! I'm glad that you like it... Mitsukishi-sensei says the same thing every time I turn in a new artwork to him. He keeps all of them nice and safe in a back room at the college. I have the spare key with me too.", he paused, stretching his arms into the air with a sigh. Well, I'll be finishing the final coloring today... So you can see the completed work tomorrow, all right?"

At the outskirts of the city, a pair of bodies were dumped into a canal.
A hour later the two bodies opened their eyes.

"my head hurts…" Shiro said to herself.

"YOU BASTAR…" Kuro responded in a snap.

"not now…I am serious, my head hurts and I have no power for yelling…" she said with a quiet voice, "lets go home…"

His response was to shot at her feet with his banana gun, causing her to slip and fall, "HA! Caught you now!" he stood over her helpless body, pinning her down with his leg, "I am one step closer to my goal! With my calculations your skull will only survive more 1,497,351 more such falls! Your time is approaching! Soon your skull will crumble under the pressure!"

"and how much time do you think that it will take you to make me fall like this 1,497,351 times?" she asked and started to look for something in her pocket.

"around 457 yeats…fear my diabolical plan…" Kuro speech ended when a fast moving object with the writing 'die shinigami bastard! Die a blunt death!' smashed into his face.

"BAKA! YOU WILL DIE 10,000 TIMES BY THEN!"

After much more bickering and fighting, the due returned to their home in town, dragging themselves back to their gigais to rest till the next day when the fighting will resumed.

After a long day of judging criminals and fighting gang members and the such, Seth decided to cool down...at the local bar. Where he enjoyed some nice refreshing milk...."dam that stuff is good"

Too bad his peace didn't last long, cause a couple of drunk losers came up to him and mistake the milk mustash as a garbage can....well ok they didn't mistake anything...they just needed to puke.

"Cool! I can't wait to see it!" She stared at the open window, the sun shining brightly in their faces.

"It's a beautiful day, ne?" She turned to Souji with a smile on her face. Her cell phone vibrated on the back of shorts. She took her cellular in her hands and stared at the name. Clicking the talk button, she put the phone to her ears.

"Hi, hi! Blair-chan." Answering a series of questions, she let out a sigh. " Yes, I'm with Souji-kun and no we are not dating." Nodding her head again, she handed her phone to Souji-kun.

"Blair-chan wants to talk to you."

"Yes, it is...", Souji answered. His reply was followed by the sound of Kokoro's cell phone going off in vibrate mode. The artist remained silent as his friend shared a short conversation. He blushed slightly as she mentioned something about the two of them not dating to Blair. That girl just could not get that thought out of her head. But then he suddenly found himself face-to-face with the cell phone. Souji took it and put it up to his ear. "Um... Hi, Blaire-chan. What's up? What do you need?", he asked in an uncertain tone.

At School Campus

"10,000 yen from both of you!!" Blair yelled, smirking a little as she left school grounds. Her spiky blonde hair rustled a little in the wind and she continued to walk.

"I had to get both of your homework assignments, classroom assignments, and other things that should be done by you guys! How did both of you miss out on school and on a Friday too! What were you guys doing, spending the day in each other's arms and whispering sweet nothings in each other's ears. What Souji, just what?! Please tell me.

[Kaoru Miyazaki]

Souji quickly held the phone away from his ear as Blaire yelled her immediate response. It was loud enough for even Kokoro to hear clearly. As soon as it was quiet again, he brought the phone back, listening to her as she continued. He started talking as soon as she finished. "But, Blair-chan! Neither of us asked you to pick up our school work for us! We can't pay you for it! Besides, being college students, we have no spare money!", he chimed back, giggling.

"Anyway, we've both told you, like, ten times that we are not dating or anything like that! Get that thought out of your head already! To tell the truth, I was alseep. Kokoro-chan didn't go because the lessons were boring and she had better things to do. That's all! Now, I'm handing the phone back to her... Later!" The artist held the phone out to his friend, glad that he had gotten out of the conversation quickly. 'That girl... It's like she's trying to push us together.'

She heard her friend's yelling loud and clear from where she stood. 10,000 yen..from both of them!!! Sometimes, Kokoro wondered if her friend was on drugs or alcohol. What Souji-kun said was true, she didn't have to pick up their assignments. They could've made it up tomorrow.

She let out a sigh as Souji made it clear that the two were not dating and that they were up to their own schedules for today. Kokoro took the phone from her friend's hands as the phone was presented in her face.

"See Blair-chan! You made Souji-kun mad. Besides, why must we pay you when one, you didn't have to do it and two, you're the rich one in the group!'

At School Campus

"Yeah, yeah! Anyways, I'm coming right now, it's something the two of you would be interested in. Ciao,ciao!"

Apartment Complex

Kokoro put her phone back in her pocket and sighed. She turned to face Souji-kun, who seemed to be lost in his own thoughts.

"Hey, Souji-kun! She said she would be coming over and she has something interesting to tell us."

Upon finishing his burger Tenaku looked up to see the scene unfold with Seth. Bringing a hand to cover his mouth he began to laugh, quietly at first but before long it filled the entire bar. He couldn't help but find this funny.

At School Parking Lot

Blair placed her phone back in her leather jacket and walked to her motorcycle. What she had to tell Kokoro and Souji would surely interest them and hopefully they will help her. She jumped onto her motorcycle and turned it on. She stared at herself in the rear view mirror. Shoulder-length spiky blonde hair with piercing green eyes that would sometimes change to blue. Many ear piercings and one lip piecing that was connected to her ear lobe earring by a single chain. She sighed and rode out the parking lot, driving her way to the apartment complex.

"I hate to involve them into this but..I have no choice." A spiky hair rustled in the wind as she rode. She glanced at the shining ring before looking forward once again.

[Kaoru Miyazaki]

Kokoro: "Hey, Souji-kun! She said she would be coming over and she has something interesting to tell us."

Souji had guessed as much, since Blaire-chan had already picked up their missed school work. It must have been fairly convenient for her to have her two best friends living in the same apartment building. 'Well, I guess that the very least I could do for her is fix her something to eat when she gets here...', he thought, feeling slightly guilty about the whole no-spare-money situation. "Of course, that's fine! Hey, if you two are hungry, I can fix something to eat when she gets here!" The teenager beamed a smile.

"Alright! Let me help too." Kokoro smiled. In the back of her head, she was still thinking about what Blair-chan said.She sounded serious and unsure. I hope she is not in trouble.

Seth stood there with puke on his clothes...until he heard a laugh, faint at first but soon the laugh was uncontrollable and permeated through every space of the entire bar. Other began to join when they saw Seth's predicament...actually it made him quite mad but soon he found himself laughing as well! Soon the whole bar including Seth was laughing their heads off which prompted more drunkards puking...puking even on the original laugher which ignited the laughter even more!

As soon as someone puked on Tenaku he stood up. Shaking his head he felt a sick. Quickly he ran outside, puking on the sidewalk. Looking down at himself he knew he needed a change of clothes, not to mention a shower. 'Good thing the apartment is near here...' he thought to himself as he turned toward the dirction the apartment was.

Tenaku thought he must have looked funny as he walked down the streets. Looking down he just watched his feet as he walked to the apartment. Pushing open the doors to the building he quickly moved through the halls until he reached his apartment. Pulling the key out of his pocket he unlocked the door, walked in, and slammed it behind him. When inside he went right for the shower.

Outside Apartment Complex

Her motorcycle came to a stop. Blair stared at the towering tower and she smirked before removing herself from her vehicle. Pushing the brakes down with the heel of her foot, Blair stood on ground, grass crushed beneath her leather boots.

"Alright. Apartment 417,417,417....There it is!" After searching through the appropriate balconies, Blair prepared herself. Smirking, she jumped on the building walls and other neighboring balconies before landing on Souji's one. There were small cracks on the concrete where she landed.Spitting her cigarette out and over the balcony, Blair pounded on the sliding screen door.

"Open up! I can't sit here all day you know!"

[Kaoru Miyazaki]

Kokoro: "Alright! Let me help too."

Souji returned a smile to his friend, nodding his head as he did so. "Of course you can help. After all, it'll be more fun to eat it if we both work on it together!", the teenager said happily. Suddenly, the two of them heard harsh knocking on the glass door that led out onto the balcony.

Blaire: "Open up! I can't sit here all day, you know!"

'Is that... Blaire-chan!? She got here awfully fast... Wait a minute! How did she get up onto the balcony...!?' Thoroughly confused, Souji blinked a few times before moving to the balcony doors. He pulled aside the closed curtain and indeed, there stood Blaire. "Wow! She really is here!" With that said, Souji flipped the lock and slid the door open, stepping aside to let his friend into the apartment. "You sure got here fast, Blaire-chan... We didn't even have time to cook up anything.", he said to her with a small laugh.

Since the organization funds the bar...mostly to get a first hand view of some easy criminals, and let some of the members go for a drink, Seth asked the bartender for a new change of clothes. He didn't care if the clothes were...Normal. He just hated having puke all over him. The bartender looked at him with wide eyes...he was obviously pissed off over all the puke he would have to clean up! He handed Seth some new clothes, and as soon as Seth had finished changing he was on his way...where? to another bar of course...it was his night off!

"You sure got here fast, Blaire-chan... We didn't even have time to cook up anything.", he said to her with a small laugh.

Kokoro

Kokoro stared with disbelief. How did her friend get here so fast and how did she jump onto the balcony?! From Kokoro's point of view, Blair was a normal human girl who belonged to a wealthy family apparently.

Is...is it possible for Blair-chan to have spiritual power!

"Yeah..we weren't expecting you so fast. How did you get up here. You know we are like on the fourth floor!!"

Blair

"I know that!! I felt like jumping today instead of walking through the building, going up the elevator, and all that good stuff." Blair took a seat on Souji's couch and crossed her arms, closing her arms as well.

"Hey, Kokoro-chan, Souji. Do you know why I'm in a wealthy family and why I keep changing my appearance?"

Apartment 417, Living Room

Blaire: "Hey, Kokoro-chan, Souji-kun. Do you know why I'm in a wealthy family and why I keep changing my appearance?"

Souji watched his friend sit down on the couch. Her body language made him think that something was bothering her. He wanted to ask if anything was wrong or if something had happened at the college, but then he would be answering a question with another question. That usually annoyed Blaire, so he decided against it, opting to answer her question instead. "Um... Well, no... You never really talk about yourself all that much, Blaire-chan...", the teen said, closing the balcony door and relocking it.

Kokro nodded her head as Souji said his sentence. Blair never did talk about herself nonetheless talk about her motives for doing things.

"Is something worng, Blair-chan? You've been acting strange lately and you seem... troubled."

Blair

Blair only looked up for a mere second before looking down again. "I'm going to say this once and only once. It may come as a shock but, I'm going to be brief." She paused before staring both of them in the eyes," I'm in the mafia."

Souji literally felt his jaw drop. 'Blaire-chan is in the Yakuza!?' He honestly didn't know what to say to her at first. Eventually, he closed his mouth and swallowed. 'I really hope that her family doesn't have anything against me or Kokoro-chan...', he thought before trying to speak aloud. "You're in the Yakuza...? That really is a shock, Blaire-chan... Um, why are you telling us this now, if I may ask?"

"You're in the Yakuza...? That really is a shock, Blaire-chan... Um, why are you telling us this now, if I may ask?"

Blair

Her eyebrows twitched slighty. She grit her teeth and punched Souji in the head. One thing Blair hates when she tells smeone she is in the mafia, is that always mistake her for the Yakuza.

NO!! Not the Japanese mafia, the Italian mafia." She yelled while shaking her fist angrily. " My name is not really Blair Akigane, it's Blair De'Luca. I'm apart of the De'Luca family, one of the most powerful mafia family there is." Blair scanned Souji's and Kokoro's faces before continuing.

"The reason I'm telling you this is because..................you're being targeted.

Kokoro

She could only stare in atonishment as Blair spoke her last sentence. How could she not know so much about a friend she knew for so long. Tears formed in her eyes and she turned her back to hide her face.

[Kaoru Miyazaki]

Blaire

"NO! Not the Japanese mafia, the Italian mafia." She yelled while shaking her fist angrily. "My name is not really Blaire Akigane, it's Blaire De'Luca. I'm a part of the De'Luca family, one of the most powerful mafia families there is." Blairw scanned Souji's and Kokoro's faces before continuing. "The reason I'm telling you this is because... You're being targeted."

Souji

From Blaire's now-angry expression, Souji knew he'd said something wrong. When she pulled back her fist and attempted to punch him, he barely managed to dodge it. All she managed to hit was his ponytail. He stepped back with a sweat drop on the side of his forehead. His arm bumped Kokoro, who now had her back turned to them. Now he was worried. "Blaire-chan... What did you do? Why is your family targeting us? For what? We haven't done anything to them or you...", he said, his voice calm but firm. "Explain."

[Aoi Innocence]

Souji
"Blaire-chan... What did you do? Why is your family targeting us? For what? We haven't done anything to them or you...", he said, his voice calm but firm. "Explain."

Blair

"Well lucky for you, my family isn't targeting you and never will. Unlucky for you and I, it's the Esposito family that wants our head." She stared at Souji's confuse face before sighing and explaining a little further." The Esposito family is run by Galileo Esposito, the current leader. He has a grudge against us for one bad mistake. Accidentally assassinating his father and mother. I won't go into details but, frankly he wants us gone. So, I'm guessing, he'll start by hurting my parents by getting to me. He'll make them watch me suffer as I suffer and die a slow death. That's where you guys come in. He want's me to suffer by 'trying' to assassinate my closet friends."

Kokoro

Turning back around, her face was flushed and her cheeks were a tinge red. Crossing her arms, she stood still, answering Blair.

"So, you want us to help you take down Galileo Esposito." She watched as Blair nodded her head. Cracking her knuckles, Kokoro smirked a little, though kind-hearted, Kokoro loved to take down a couple of villians."Well, count me in! What about you Souji-kun?"

Souji

Souji switched his gaze between both girls several times, a nervous expression on his face as he did. Though he understood everything that was going on now, he was still hesitant about deciding what should be done. Finally, he stopped looking at them and lowered his head forward with a defeated sigh. She frowned and lifted Souji's chin so his eyes could see hers.

"Listen Souji-kun. Nobody is pressuring you into doing this. You always have the choice. If you don't want to do it, don't do it. " She removed her hand and smiled a small smile.

Blair
Cracking a smile, Blair moved up and crossed her arms.

"Yeah. It's great to know that you want to help but, again if you don't want to, you don't have to." She placed her index finger on his forehead.

"Besides, who will Kokoro-chan look forward to come back to." She stuck out her tongue. She flciked her finer across his head, leaving a slight mark.

Souji didn't resist as his best friend gently tilted his chin up with her finger. He slowly opened his eyes and looked at Kokoro as she began speaking. When she finished and removed her hand, she smiled for the first time in a while. The teenager suddenly felt a sense of relief wash through him. He opened his mouth to reply, but was soon interrupted.

Blaire

"Yeah. It's great to know that you want to help but then again, if you don't want to, you don't have to." She placed her index finger on his forehead.

"Besides, who will Kokoro-chan look forward to coming back to?" She stuck out her tongue and flicked her finger across his head, leaving a slight mark.

Souji

Souji moved his eyes to look up at the fingertip that was pressing lightly against the center of his forehead. His other best friend stuck her tongue out and then proceeded to flick him in the same spot, causing a small red mark. He retracted, jumping with a small yelp. "Hey, hey, Blaire-chan... Don't go injuring me before we even have a chance to fight the family. I said I was going to go and help you two, and I will. So don't worry.", he said, smiling.

Blair

Smiling, she gigled under her breath before looking at both Souji and Kokoro. Sighing, she frowned and spoke.

"Well now that's settled, I can desripe our destination." Sitting back down on the couch, she contiued," Where the battle will take place will, unfortunetly, in Roma, Italy." Blair watched as both Souji's and Kokoro's face lit up.

She sighed when they both started listing everything they would do if they go to Italy. Clearing her throat, she continued once again.

"As I was saying, we will fly to Roma, Italy. The Esposito's headquarters is out of city range. Our mission: to take down as much Esposito members as possible."

Smiling, she giggled under her breath before looking at both Souji and Kokoro. Sighing, she frowned and spoke.

Souji

Souji's boyish face did indeed brighten considerably. He could only imagine how beautiful Italy was going to be and what sort of paintings he could create while staying there. It didn't occur to him that he might be too busy fighting to save his life to even get a chance to paint anything. But one could always dream. "My art will surely prosper during my time there...", he said cheerfully.

Blaire

She sighed when they both started listing everything they would do when they got to Italy. Clearing her throat, she continued once again.

"As I was saying, we will fly to Roma, Italy. The Esposito's headquarters is out of city range. Our mission: To take down as many Esposito members as possible."

Souji

The teenager snapped out of his dream state and immediately refocused himself on the task at hand. He raised two fingers to his forehead in the classic "Scout's Honor" symbol. "Hai hai, Ma'am. Oh, but you know... I just thought of something else.", he said, lowering his hand to his side. "What are we going to tell the college? That we're suddenly taking a vacation to Italy in the middle of the semester?"

Kokoro

The thought of flying to Italy was like a dream come true for Kokoro. She heard stories from various classmates that travel across seas. Italy was a beautiful place with peace among the locals and beautiful creations. How could a place like that be filled with violent activity? Kokoro could only imagine.

She snapped out of her thoughts and focused on Blaire as she finished telling them info. She turned towards Souji, who spoke up after Blaire finished. She giggled under her breath as he raised his two fingers to his forehead as if he were in Boy's Scouts.


"Hai hai, Ma'am. Oh, but you know... I just thought of something else.", he said, lowering his hand to his side. "What are we going to tell the college? That we're suddenly taking a vacation to Italy in the middle of the semester?"

Kokoro took a second to think before too adding in her own thoughts.

"Souji-kun has a point. We can't just leave school, they won't allow us to without an excuse. We can't tell them were off to Italy to take down a mafia family."

Blair

She looked at the both of them before smirking. Taking out her celluar, she quickly dialed a combination of numbers before putting the phone to her ear. Her silver guitar chain glimmered under the sunlight.

"Ciaossu, Takumi. I'm going to be off on a mission which, should take about 2-4 weeks. Can you write the usual to the college." She nodded her head a couple of times before smirking.

"Thank you. Ciao." She hung up and placed her cell phone back in its holder.

"Simple as one, two, three. Now, you two get packing, we have to leave as soon as possible." She walked over to the balcony door and slid it open, stepping outside.

"I'll be back. We leave as soon as I return." With that said, she jumped over the rail and landed softly on the ground below.

Souji watched as his friend jumped off of his balcony and strangely enough, he wasn't worried about her landing. He then looked over at Kokoro. "Well, guess we'd better get started with packing. I'll see you in a few minutes, Kokoro-chan.", said the artist.

The teenager moved off toward his bedroom at the back of the apartment. During their stay in Italy, he'd probably need a few things. At the top of his list was string; lots and lots of string. It was his main weapon. Not as flashy or effective as guns, but it was definately unexpected.

"Well, guess we'd better get started with packing. I'll see you in a few minutes, Kokoro-chan.", said the artist.

Kokoro

"Yeah, see you in a few minutes, Souji-kun." said Kokoro. She left his apartment and walked to her own. Opening the door, she slammed the door shut, and started to search for her suitcase. Grabbing the red suitcase from her closet, she began packing all the neccessties for their mission: Clothes, a few waterbottles, etc.

"Can't forget my gloves." She slipped on Kuro Kokoro and stared at it. She would probably be using them to their full power, from the sound in Blair's voice when she speaks about Galileo Esposito and the rest of the family, they sound pretty strong. Spiritually aware or not.

Tying her hair in a low ponytail, she zipped up her suitcase and placed it by the door. Taking her pink and white baseball cap, she put it on her head before leaving the room, suticase in hand.

Blair

After a ten minute drive from the apartment complex, Blair stopped in front of a iron gate. She placed her her hand on an eyescreen. Watching the light turn green, the gate opened and Blair drove in.

In front of her was a majestic mansion. White with gold trimming and towering windows. The garden was filled with various colors of roses and lilys. In the center was a huge water fountain made out concrete. Angels were on it and one small angel hold up both of his hands, which was the where the faucet was located.

Blair stopped in front of the stairway and got off her motorcycle. She removed her jacket, showing a green short sleeve shirt with fishnets underneath. She walked up the staircase, staring at many flowers.

Blair stopped and smirked as she stared at one particular flower. An orange lily. It was craddled by dozens of ornage roses.

"Raging orange lily is Galileo. It suits him nicely." Continuing her walk, she stepped right in front of the door. Pushing a red button that was located by the doorknob, she twitched her ears as she heard a loud buzzing sound from within.

"Who dare enters?" Came a voice from the intercom above. It was bold and held a razor like tone.

"You know who, Takumi." She responded. A second later, the door opened. There in the doorway stood a man in all black suit with a red tie. His hair was stuck between white and blonde and his cold blue eyes stared at the young heiress. He appeared in his late twenties.

"I see your back. That was faster than I thought." He stepped to the side as Blair entered the mansion.

The flooring was white and made of marble. The staircase was also white with red carpet on each step. Their were many paintings adorning the creme colored walls. Another water fountain was placed in the middle of the two stair cases.

"Well, I was speeding. But none of that. I have to return quickly." She turned towards Takumi who, laid on the closed doors. "Do you have the tickets?"

He checked in his pockets and brought out three tickets. Taking them from his hands, Blair smirked and rubbed his whitish blonde hair.

"You always think ahead of time. Thank you, Takumi. Now, I got to go p-"

"Already packed and prepared for you, Blair." She stared at him confusingly before sighing and smirking.

"I only asked you to do one thing for me Takumi." Turning her back, she advanced forward.

"Nonetheless, thank you...again. I don't know what I'll do without you." He nodded his head and followed her up the long flight of steps. As she entered the main hallway, Takumi stopped and asked a question.

"Are you going to keep your gigai on or arrive in Italy in your shinigami form?" Blair turned slowly and stared at him for a minute.

"No. I need it to rebuild energy." she said. Taking her suitcase in hand, she walked back downstairs, Takumi not too far behind. Exiting out the door, Takumi placed his hand on her shoulder to stop her.

"Leonardo is with the Esposito. Do you think you can handle him?" A smirk crawled on her face for the fifth time that day.

"Jealous much. Don't worry, I'll gag him and bag him to bring him back." Turning around, Blair kissed Takumi on his cheek.

"Besides, I'll always come back to you." With that said, she walked out the door, car keys in hand(she carries many on one chain).

Opening the trunk door, she placed her suitcase in the trunk and slammed it shut. Getting in the driver's seat, she started the car. Looking behind her, she reversed car out of the garage. Facing forward, she drove out of the De'Luca mansion.

Souji

Souji dug around in his closet, finally coming across an old suitcase that would be fit for travel. He popped it open and laid it down on his bed. A few changes of clothes, his toothbrush and toothpaste, sealed painting kit, and several yards' worth of string all went into the suitcase. The teenager paused. "Let's see... Is there anything else I might need while we're in Italy...?", he said.

After a few moments of pondering, he added in a hairbrush and several hair ties on top of everything else. Then another thought popped into his head. He carefully placed a small disposable camera in with all the rest. Despite the dangerous mission at hand, he assumed that they might still find time to do a bit of sight seeing and just have a bit of fun between the three of them. Once he was satisfied, he closed the suitcase.

"There. Now, just have to wait for Blaire-chan's return.", Souji said, smiling.

Blair

Parking her car in the parking space closet to the building. She ran to the front entrance, through the receptionist, and to the elevator. Pushing the up button, Blair waited patiently. Once the doors opened, Blair quikly walked in and pushed the button that will lead her to the 4th floor.

The cheesy elevator music annoyed her greatly, so she destroyed it by firing a kidou spell. Arriving at the 4th floor, Blair stepped out and walked down the hallway. She stoppped as Kokoro came out of her apartment, suitcase in hand.

Kokoro

She looked behind her to see Blair. Turning towards her friend, she spoke.

"Ready to go. Just waiting on Souji-kun."

Blair

"Alright. Packed the necessties?" She watched as Kokoro nodded her head. Walking up to Souji's door, she knocked on it rapidly.

"Ready to go when you are." She said loud enough for Souji to hear.

Blaire

"All right. Packed the necessties?" She watched as Kokoro nodded her head. Walking up to Souji's door, she knocked on it rapidly. "Ready to go when you are." She said, loud enough for Souji to hear.

Souji

The teenager looked up as he heard knocking on his front door and then his friend calling his name. He smiled, grasping the handle of his suitcase and picking it up from the bed. After grabbing his keys, he made sure all of the doors were closed and locked up tight. Then he exited his apartment to find Kokoro and Blaire waiting for him out in the hallway. Souji smiled at both of them. "All right, I'm ready. Let's get going.", he said cheerfully.

Blair

Smirking, she grabbed both of their suitcases.

"Alrighty then, to the airport!" She said excitedly. Taking elevator down, they waited patiently to reach the lobby.

Kokoro

The elevator music was killing her. Looking up at the intercom annoyingly, she was surprised to fine it destroyed.

"Whoa." She said impressed.

Blair

Hiding her laugh, Blair stepped out the elevator, her two friends in tow. Walking out of the building, they reached her car. Placing their things in the back, Blair got in the driver's seat and drove off down the street.
