I need some help with my Writing.

:yayOkay people this summer I have decided that I am really going to start on working with my writing. I have always been a good writer, when it came to school I was always top of the class.

So I need your help with a little something something, I want to write a book this summer, it wont get ike published or anything I just want to say that this summer I completed something and didnt just sit around all day. I was woundering if anyone would have any ideas on what I could write a story about, you what the pilot would be and whatnot. I would love to hear everyones suggestions on this.

I ask that you message me so that I am able to read everyones suggestion, and so that I can message you back letting you know what I think. I just need someone help and make something that will be completely uniqe. These days books and manga and animes are becoming alot more alike.

aww, that sounds so nice! I'm not a very good writer, only when I'm under pressure (to write at school...) but I can try to help you =D

I wish I had some original ideas...it's true, most stories are very alike

I can't really pick a topic, what kind of stories interest you? try remembering animes, books, movies or even sitcoms that interest you and try to get something from them, maybe the way the story is told...I think you can never be 100% original =/

probably the story turns out better if you write about something you really love, or know a lot about. I think the pilot must make your readers want to know what's next, so you need a bit of tension...

I'm not really sure, I'm not a writer >_< you could ask CeriaHalcyon, my e-brother xD he's very nice, and he's a writer

Yes i do understand I can not be 100% original but I would love to get close LoL you know what I mean? I was writing a story before but then had to stop because I ended up getting that cursed writers block >.< I could never finish it and still havent. I was also witing one just last week and then when I re-read it, it began to sound alot like Bleach so I had to stop writing it. The one things I have trouble writing about are, Vampires, and Ninjas. Dont ask me why with Ninjas. Vampires though is because I have already read to many books about them.

I was asked before what kind of book I would write. Drama, Action Etc. Now I do great with Drama and it can be mixed with anything, meaning magic and stuff like that. Action takes me a bit longer because of..well..the action, action has always been ahrd for me to write. Anything else its easy for me.

Thank you for giving me someone I could ask. I guess you can say that right now I am still in my writers block and waiting for a good idea to slap me in the face. Thank you Mandy.

um, writer's block huh...I guess there's not much you can do, maybe make sure to carry a notebook around to write down any ideas you might have, sometimes you come up with something just before falling asleep, you never know xD

ooh, Vampires and Ninjas...I guess those themes have been very explored, but people can still write original stories on them, if the have a new idea or concept...I read Dracula and loved it =D besides I really enjoyed watching Van Helsing and I'm watching Vampire Knight now..Vampires are very interesting, but if it's hard for you..

Drama is great, I think it's the best \o/ can't have a very good story without any drama, I'm happy you're good at it, because when people that aren't good at it try to write it, the result is lame =/

oh, action must be hard x.x but it's essential in some stories...I don't know, really ;P

can you pick a top favorite book or author? I'm curious about the style you like n__n

Yes I do agree with you vampires are very interesting and I believe that great stories can be written about them. Yes, Dracula was a very good book and I loved reading it. Vampire Knight was also a very good anime because of the fact that they mixed humans in the same area. Thats what really caught my attention.

Something I find that always helps in coming up with unique ideas is a trip through wikipedia with heavy abuse of the 'random article' link. It's a great way to come up with some ideas for setting, characters, events, and the like. Especially when you find a few unrelated articles which you can modify, rewrite, and combine to make your story.

Oh, I agree with Miashin! =D That's a really great idea! I might have to try that out sometime...

Something that really helps me develop ideas is a fifty-word challenge. Basically, you take fifty completely random and unrelated words, and either A] write a sentence for each word, or B] try and write a story including all fifty words! It's really challenging, really fun, and a great way to get the creative juices flowing. You could also make it a contest between you and some friends, to see who can use the words most creatively. I have a list of words already, so if you'd like, you can drop me a PM and I can give them to you. ^^ [That goes for anyone who might be interested. <3]

Just something I'd like to add - don't just give your characters things that you'd like them to have. Since you've given them their own personalities, some different than yours, they're bound to make different choices and have different attributes. It may not be what you had in mind for the story, but... Christ this is hard to explain.

Just go with what suits the characters, then. I can't get the right words for my thoughts, a common problem. >:
