Changed Voice in the OP

Has anyone noticed that they changed the voice of the singer for ALONES for the last eps?

I kinda liked the old version more. What's your opinion?

(P.S. you have to watch the raws to see the difference. DB and Rumbel are still using the old version)

Well, since the single is coming out soon, maybe Aqua Timez recorded a new version and the studio is using that for the Opening now?

But yes, it does sound quite different. I kinda like the old version better.

That certainly does sound different. I wonder why DB isn't using that one... I'm going to chalk it up to the single for the song. But I don't recall this ever happening before ever. I know animation has been changed, but I don't think the song has before. Hmm...

but from half to the end, this version it's really good.

Yep..I think this is more a 'live' version without all the adaptations and all then the first one..but the voice is still the same.

I like the first one better too..it's more 'clear' and all:D

The new version sounds less "nasal" than the other one XD And that's what I kinda liked about the song, but the new version's okay, too.

Yeah, been like that since Episode 131 I believe. But sub groups puts older version since it is not really a major change.

They didn't put it in, because they didn't realize that it changed. I can live with it, since i like the 1st version a bit more :)

Yep..that's true. Certain parts are definitely being emphasized..while others aren't in the old one..but still..I like the first version better..it was more clear and overall sounded good.

I agree. The new version (which is from the new single, as confirmed by the HQ full song on some other thread) sounds more "serious" and the singer does seem to be singing more.

Oh well, the new version's starting to grow on me, anyway. Unfortunately, I can't quite imagine Kon singing the new version as well as the old one, though XD the old version fits Kon better, IMO :p

I think it's unlikely that they didn't notice. If anything, they didn't use the new one because then they would have to resub it and crap. Easier to stick with the one already done.

As for Rumbel's releases i can tell you, they didn't know until last week. I can't tell you about DB because, well i don't care about them, just don't like their releases. It's not that hard to resub it. The length and the vid are the same, they've just to do a reencode, which is nothing special with 1:30.

People still have to get the raw don't they? I guess it's possible that no one on the interweb brought it to any of their attentions. But because of that I find it hard to believe that they didn't at least know. I could so see DB just leaving it like they have.

Boycot I say..Boycot!:D LMAO..I don't understand why don't kept on using the 'old' version..which IMHO was much better..but then again..you need to go with the flow I guess.

I do agree they just should have stayed. But from their point of view, I guess there was no pleasing everyone, so they just did what they wanted to. If they stay, people are going to whine that they aren't using the new one and if they go to the new one, people are going to whine that it sucks. They are screwed either way.

Whatever anyways. I have my ripped version of the original that I listen to all the time and I will continue to skip the opening and ending, so the whole thing is very meh to me. :D
