realistic hollow

i wanted to visualize what a hollow might look like in real life. the cartoon ones just aren't that scary. see attached painting.

That's an interesting thought, most of the manga and anime hollows do appear less menacing than you would believe, only the arrancars have the true scary factor.

its cool, very nice...they Hollow looks like it is made of bones, so it looks a little wierd, imo, but realistic xD

i noticed in the manga and anime, the generic hollows have all black body suits. and some of the special ones have dark brown fur. i think the generic ones were drawn that way to save time. i'll try putting fur on the next one. i can borrow a hamster to get the lighting right.

ooh, that is scarier. I think because it looks like a cross between a human skeleton and dinosaur bones. Whereas the hollows in the show are more of weird creatures with white skull masks.

that hollow does look far more menacing than any we're seen in the anime (you're so right, they are way too cartoony to be scary) but your version looks very relaistic, and probably pretty close to what Kubo orginally had in mind

I agree, the cartoon ones aren't really that scary, well because it's too cartoon-y, not enough realism. But this gives me a creepy feeling! Because it's more realistic!

Truly captures the real essence of a hollow, a dead demon essentially however, no matter how much I love your picture(oh and I do) being all bone(white), according to the evidence provided by the manga/anime, that would mean that it would be an Adjucas. However I love it and the red underneath the claws adds an awesome effect. GJ and get me back on that PM, i sent u.
