- There's a flashback to Squalo's DVDs again, when Squalo "defeated" Genkishi.
- Squalo explains something about Genkishi's illusions, which gives Yamamoto the hint.
- The crack on Shigure Kintoki was an illusion, after all. Yamamoto says he's gotten so accustomed to the sword that he would notice even a 0.01g difference in weight if it'd been chipped.
- Yamamoto used Squalo's attack on Genkishi, I think.
- Genkishi uses his Box. The characteristic of the Mist attribute is "Construction" (構築).
- Yamamoto is struck (second pic above).

- Elsewhere in the Melone Base, Chrome has infiltrated the base in disguise as the scouting party captain that'd gone to the Vongola Base.
- Chrome has Mukurou (the owl) with her, and her spear is also intact.

Am i the only one fine with Chrome being dependent upon Mukurou? I suppose that Reborn once mentioned that we cannot separate Mukurou and Chrome, and while it was physically Chrome who is the Mist guardian...it was Mukurou that Iemitsu approached. So i still consider Mukurou the one who protects Tsuna. True enough, in the future we see how Mukurou is breaking free off depending on Chrome, not Chrome off Mukurou :p

@Ann-Chan/Spacey - I always understood Chrome was talking with Future Mukuro, who was possessing Glo's Snow Owl. When Chrome started using the Vongola Ring, she and Mukuro concentrated their powers in the thing they valued the most. Bonds.

Those bonds manifested as the past bodies of Mukuro, Ken and Chikusa - That's why Mukuro says "My, this is nostalgic" when he sees his younger body.

Well, that's what I got.


As for Chrome's role on this chapters, I'd love to see her fighting on her own. She's way too dependant on Mukuro for everything, something that kinda plays against her character :s - I'd love if Mukuro/Chrome's bond was something more than "He keeps my organs in place and helps me with the occasional bad guy" :3

And on the Mukuro/Chrome relation, I personally would like to see them break that symiotic relation they have and develop a more normal one. Don't get me wrong, I love their interaction and everything, but Chrome is like an extension of Mukuro.

Technicalities aside, [which we sometimes need to do for the sake of enjoyment] i believe that the theme of Mukuro-Chrome bond is the fact that they existed for each other when nothing else could. Mukuro could have just possessed a random person, but he chose Chrome because he knew that she wouldnt attempt rejecting him. It may sound selfish on the side of Mukuro, but dependence certainly worked on his favour. After all it was Mukuro that was the Mist guardian, and if anything, Mukuro needed to work his way into not depending, not Chrome specifically. Thus, for me, Chrome fighting on her own or not does not matter; and furthermore, we may really get to see her in action in a matter of weeks.
