Rules:

1) If you do not like a pairing DO NOT post in that pairing FC. If you read the fanclub and want to discuss something that was said then sort it out via PM or elsewhere, do NOT go into that fanclub and start a war. 2) Try not to discuss other pairings unless it is absolutely necessary.

3) You can discuss other pairings but when others discuss your pairing negatively and you don't like it sort it out through pm, if you break the above rule to start a flame war it's an instant ban.

Randomly: what does classroom attendance score mean?

Attendance score is basically how good they are with attendance. Out of the entire school (or just Freshman class?), Ichigo placed 13, and amongst the males, he placed 6.

It's like the equivalent of getting a certain percentile on your attendance record, I assume.

Ichigo said that Sora died 3 years ago in chapter 3. I don't think it states anywhere in the manga the exact date, so I'm just subtracting 3 from 15 (since that is how old Ichigo and Orihime are when Ichigo said that Sora died three years ago) ^.^

I'm kinda hoping Orihime will jump in because Orihime did said that she did not want to look at Ichigo's back the next time they meet! I'm still waiting for Orihime to do something amazing >< [ I've been saying that for months, lol ]

and I think Orihime was around 12 when her brother died. She had just entered middle school and that was when Orihime's hair was cut off ;-;!!

Orihime, like a lot of people in fandom, seem to equate fighting prowess to strength. Except that Orihime's purpose in the team is already indispensable and she doesn't need to fight to prove that. I think there are other ways for her to show great strength without being involved in a fight, and she's already shown a great deal of it to not have broken down yet, after everything that's happened. I mean, it might not even be two days since she was taken! That's a lot to deal with in such a short time!

If she defends him using her shield, though, I think I'd like that. Her defensive capabilities and healing techniques are really valuable to have in a fight and I want her to see how useful those are.

And yeah, I just looked up that reference to "three years ago" when her brother died in the manga chapter. I got messed up reading this in wiki, thinking if she and her brother ran away when she was three and looked after her for 6 years, she'd be nine. From wiki

For six years, Orihime and Sora lived in harmony despite the fact that Orihime was bullied in school because of her long hair. One day, Sora gave Orihime a pair of hairpins. Those are the patches I got for one of the first prizes for the Tanabata festival XD I plan on getting some for myself (and the Renji and Rukia ones) They are very cute! There is an Orihime key chain of that same desgin up on Ebay, but I don't want to buy it until I they get Ichigo (save money on shipping...)

She was born, she was given the perfect traits, she can sing opera without any voice training, she falls asleep and she marries the Prince Charming (which she has to share with Cinderella and Snow White but that cat-fight is a whole different story altogether) and while I know it's an animated character and all, and given that she's to fall in a deep slumber for a part of a story, I guess she can't really do MUCH, so I should suspend belief, but...

(But that's just speculation. XD)

I vaguely remember that, during those scenes where she wanted to go to the ball, she was, uh... VERY FORCEFUL. It looked like a step away from physical force. It was her right to go to the ball, so denying her this is like breaking the law. I would love to see comparisons to Orihime if it's all right, because I can't remember them being similar at all.

Well, despite it being out of her control and despite it not being her fault that she was given all those gifts, she STILL essentially possessed them. And I don't fault her for that because it's part of the story of Sleeping Beauty but Aurora, for me, was one of he weakest links in the movie (top best thing about it: Maleficient; followed closely by the fairies, hee!). She was given all these traits that would, had it been a fanfic, would label said character a Sue. She falls asleep, she gets her happily ever after.

Of course, that's Disney's fault. But that character just wasn't endearing for me (although she is certainly beautiful. And she's in that realm of her own where it makes her a little weird like Orihime. And I suppose the innocence can be a similarity? Well, why not)

There was no ball in Sleeping Beauty (until the very end, and it's really more of a Welcome home/Happy Birthday! party)

Aurora goes back to the cottage, tells the 3 fairies that she met a handsome man, and asked him to come to the cottage in the evening. The fairies then tell her that she's a princess, and that she'd already betrothed (to the man she met in the forest, but she doesn't find that out that he is Prince Philip until the end) She cries and runs to her room, very upset that she won't be able to see this man again and that she has been lied to for all these years. I would have probably reacted like that as well :p

Their personalities are very close; she's well loved, day dreams, etc.

@haliparot I'm working on one right now!! Here is a snippet... xD It's a sequel but not really a sequel to Can't Stop the Heart. :)

Lying on the bed, staring up at the white ceiling, Orihime could not force herself to get up and get dressed. Everything was spinning but she couldn’t feel anything. Motionless, quiet, blinded, that’s how she felt. It was a big hassle to blink and it felt good just staring at the white abyss above her.

For an instance, a cool breeze seemed to enter the room because she felt it caressing her lightly. She was naked on her bed so her whole body was sensitive and could feel even the lightest, softest breeze there. The pure white sheets covered her bottom half while her right arm rested on her chest, covering her well rounded breasts.

How long had she been like that? Seconds? Minutes? Hours? Days? She blinked slowly, her eyes slowly filling up with tears. He was gone, she couldn’t find his spirit thread and his reiatsu had vanished. Turning on her side to face the wall, Orihime buried her face on her pillow and lay there, without sobbing.

She was sure she didn’t love him, not like she did Ichigo, but she definitely had grown feelings for him. The burning pain in her heart was proof of that and so were the tears that were falling little by little.

Closing her eyes, Orihime assumed the fetal position and hugged her knees to her chest. Her relaxed breathing was the only sound in the room and it was lulling her to sleep. Yeah, she definitely needed sleep. The last few nights she hadn’t gotten any sleep and her body as well as mind were tired… plus, she needed to get that out of her head.

What about Ichigo? Her eyes shot open and her breathing almost stopped. Right, she’d felt his spirit thread while she searched for Ulquiorra’s and had felt relieved to know that he was okay… but now she couldn’t feel anything and it only added more rocks to the heavy weight on her heart.

Both of the men that meant a lot to her were gone and she was alone, trapped in a prison that was slowly eating away at her. Eventually, her eyes closed once more and she dived into the land of her dreams. Where everything was okay and she was back in school with her friends enjoying the wonderful times of youth.

That's just the beginning... :D Oh yeah, and it's not edited yet so a few mistakes here and there might appear. ^^

^ I'm waiting for the scans before giving an opinion because I want to have all the facts first hand, but I do love that one. :) It's a good thing too, that Ichigo saw Orihime and Nell on time. Imagine what would have happened, if he didn't. And, as BRG stated, guess this is the reason Orihime stayed instead of wandering around HM, huh?
