i painted what rukia might look life outside of cartoon form. i've concluded that turnip do with giant cowlick is unflattering on anyone.

thanks for the kind comments. i needed the encouragement before putting any more work into it. i revised it a little today, and added detail to the bow, which before was just 3 big brush strokes.

Oh I love realistic art of Bleach characters--it's so often hit or miss, though, with capturing their personalities and not just their looks. This is gorgeous and so Rukia. Her confident smile, her elegance. I love the hand--the detail on the graceful hand is just ahhhhh. She's sexy and adorable and impish and just perfect.

i have countless artworks, most of which are unfinished. below is an example of an unfinished. i need a live model draped in similar clothing to complete it. in the other painting, i used a tiny plastic doll for reference. maybe i'll borrow a costumed bleachfan at the comics expo next month.

i'll also try and get organised and put some nonbleach art on DA.

very nice! wish i could draw realistically like that. very much how I imagine a real life rukia to look
