It's hard to ome up with an all time top five, but I'll put what I have up until now.

12:51 - The Strokes : The guitar playing by oth rhthm and lead guitar are amazing.
Stockholm Syndrome - Muse : The sudden transitions from really loud and fast to soft and slow are played very well
Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da - The Beatles - Perhaps the happiest song ever.
Buddy Holly - Weezer : I just like this song. cant explain why.
Starman - David Bowie : Really cool story being told

These are also the songs that I have no problem singing out loud. although i sound very bad singing them.

Hard question, I have at least 980 songs I consider kickass and which I can listen to until the end of the world:

Anything by Red Hot Chili Peppers, especially post-1991
Anything about Grunge and Alternative Rock
Anything done by Blur and Oasis
Heavy Metal & Hard Rock
Guilty Pleasures: Creed, Backstreet Boys, etc.

It's so hard to figure out my favorite song ever.

My top 5 favourite songs ever aren't all indicative of my usual tastes in music - they're songs that resonate with me emotionally, mostly because of past events I link them to xD

Don McLean - American Pie
Because, seriously, it's awesome.

Hunters & Collectors - Holy Grail
Aussie classic, reminds me of every hot summer night spent down at the beach or out drinking with my friends. And I always want to sing along.

Muse - Hysteria
I have no less than ten Muse songs with a 5-star rating on iTunes - and a 5-star rating really means something on my iTunes. But Hysteria has always been one of my absolute favourites, and whenever I have it on my iPod I have to try really hard to restrain myself from just jumping up and dancing.

The Cat Empire - Miserere
I honestly don't know what it is, but this song is the most uplifting thing I've ever heard. Weird because it sounds like a sad song, melodically. And weird that this is my favourite Cat Empire track, when it's so different to their usual stuff.

Porcupine Tree - Trains
I only got into Porcupine Tree about a year ago, so I'm not sure this should really get a place in my top five songs ever, yet... but it's amazing.

Sunday Morning - No Doubt
Read My Mind - The Killers
Childhood Dreams - Nelly Furtado
The Scientist - Coldplay
Getaways Turned Holidays - Meg & Dia
