Yes, that's right folks. As we found out in the recent chapter, there will be a third movie, to be out in December. So, until the info starts to trickle in, time to start guessing how cool Histugaya will look kicking ass again as the main character. :rofl I'm kidding. I hope it will be the Turn Back the Pendulum Arc turned into a movie. That way, no one would be disappointed to see a movie centered on a character they don't like. And if it was a movie, that would mean they would have more money to do it than if it was some regular episode, wouldn't it ? If it was the case, it would be possible to do something really great.
However, if TBtP was made into a movie, perhaps it would attract less people as it wouldn't be a new story.

I'd LOVE to see the Gaiden rolled into one movie. Either that, or a canon retrospective on the founding of SS or Las Noches. Any of those would be amazing.

I've never been a big fan of the filler movies. There's little breathing room, story-wise, and it shows.

aizen and the espada could appear as if trying to recruit the factions, but they refuse.

perhaps ulquiorra, nnoitra, grimmjow and zommari could fight some vastolorde menos too, when trying to recruit them. not releasing their zanpakutou though...just proper fighting with cero's too maybe.

forest of menos and other paces in huenco mundo could feature as the home of those faction of menos.

don konoji and the karakura superheroes HAVE to show up numerous times throughout the movie.

ichigo and co should have minor roles.

captains and soul society could have bigger roles. focusing on alot of captains and vice captains who have not faught b4, or atleast not faught fully. showing powers we havn't seen b4.

there better be ALOT of new kidou.

the captains who should have big fights should be:
amagai shuusuke - showing all his powers
kifune makoto - showing all his powers
unohana retsu - showing her amazing sword fighting skills
kotetsu isane - using her ice type zanpakutou powers
komamura sajin - having a big bankai fight
hisagi shuuhei - showing shikai
kyouraku shunsui - showing ful shikai powers
ise nanao - showing zanpakutou and shikai

some other characters we don't seem much should fight aswell. try to avoid using byakuya, zaraki, mayuri etc again like always.

To be honest, i doubt it will feature anything from the flashback because what i have seen until now were filler stories involving Karakura town, Soul Society and alternate worlds or enemies from the movie story itself.
So i suppose that OVA 'legacy' should remain.

Tari - I've always wanted to see unhybridized Vastorodes or Adjuuchas as filler enemies. They'd be way better than the cannon fodder Arrancar we got last time--and it'd be nice to see how they operate without being hybridized. I would be very pleased if they turned the Turn Back the Pendulum arc into a movie. I would definitely watch it. It would be fun to have an arrancar movie too. But from the movie promotional spread, it likely will be the "main" cast centering on Ichigo.

I don't think turn back the pendulum would be made into a movie. It doesn't make sense, as it what has been shown to us on this chapters is relevant for canon and future plot development. I think the anime will render tbtp fully.

That being said, I'd like the movie to be about backstories we know nothing about, like Hisana's, Komamura's, Rose and Love, or Ukitake and Shunsui. But if I had to put money on some bet...I'd say it will be some shite fighting storyline with Ichigo and the Karakura team again.

They for sure need to expand on what they are using. Think outside the box, as they would say. They are going to bring a new group of villains, so the current arrancar and Aizen have little chance of doing anything. We might get a new group of arrancar, with maybe a cameo from the current ones, if that is possible. :cool:

But for sure, not a another movie staring the shinigami. Yea, they are cool and I love them, but they shouldn't out shine the main characters. That's just not right. They can be helpful too, especially since this is just a movie. Should be more then easy to make the have good roles.

The Vizards should be in the same group of eligible candidates like the shinigami for usable characters in a movie now. I would expect and hope to see them, maybe even instead of the shinigami.

As cool as the "Turn back the whatever" arc is I really hope it won't be the 3rd movie. If it was that would mean longer fillers in the anime arc (*Shudder* The Horror). Although I kinda do hope it involves the espada (before you know) and Hitsugaya (:D) in some way.

The Turn back the pendulum arc being a movie might be a good idea. It might be the only way we get to see it animated. Narruto never got it's gaiden arc animated. Same studio. >.> Take that how you will.

It won't happen though, as much as a fun thought as it would be. Bleach, like most shows, are built on names and characters. You won't have movie without Ichigo. And the other mains to an extent. That is bleach.

Even though I'm a huge Rukia fan and know she is the most popular female character in Bleach I doubt they will be about her movie (although that would be cool). I mean what can they do about her? If its about her past and the hougyoku I think it will be in the manga since its an important part of the story.

As long as i get to see her fighting alongside Ichigo like she always does then its fine with me :)

I'm going to take a guess and go with the theory that since the colorspread has the main crew in it, the movie probably will also be mainly about them. But what I'd really love is a movie about Chad, because that dude always, always gets the short end of the stick. Renji's pretty much the same way (getting pwned by everybody no matter how hard he tries) yet people always remember him more. So Chad definitely deserves some fanservice. XD

I would say Rukia may not be the center of the movie but she will feature in it a lot since she is the female lead of Bleach.
I think Chad, Orihime and Ishida deserve more screen time since their apperance on the other movies were kinda pathetic (Umm, like 10 minutes...)

Renji's pretty much the same way (getting pwned by everybody no matter how hard he tries) yet people always remember him more.

That's cause Renji started out by showing he was levels above everyone else we saw fight at the time. Haxed Ishida, was totally Haxing Ichigo until a moment of Plotkai. Then next time we see him we find out he's even STRONGER than we thought, and nearly kills Ichigo. Then we find out he's on the verge of captain strength with a bankai.

What did Chad do during that time? He one hit KOed a 3rd seat, and then was completely utterly outclassed by a captain (who at the time we had no idea was one of the strongest captains).

The fact that Chad took the longest of ANYONE in bleach to get a powerup was the reason we all forgot about him quickly. He started out at vice captain level and stayed there for LITERALLY 200 chapters (on the dot actually, chapter 39 debuted his arm, chapter 239 debuted his new arm) and even then we didn't get to see him fight for another 4 chapters.

I'd love a story about Chad but it just isn't gonna happen.

I think it's more likely that we'll see a story relating heavily to the arrancar (as they will be the current TV series favorites) and of course throw in a few shinigami. I wouldn't even be surprised if Nel made an appearance in her adult form.

I like the idea of something going amiss in hueco mundo and spilling out over into the real world.

^ Agreed. Even if Pierrot wanted to do a movie with him, his development (or lack thereof) crippled any chance of that. Plus, keep in mind that he got one-shotted JUST after showing the full scale of his Left Arm, and spent the rest of the arc an invalid. I doubt most readers, Japanese or otherwise, would want a movie centered around him after that.

I thought that when Hitsu's movie came out, it was announced together with his main role in it; thus if it is supposed to be anything about any supporting character, aka anyone who is not Ichigo, we would have known by now. I am not surprised if the movie creates another fictional non-canon species and a dimension like Memories of Nobody; Naruto movies applied the same formula over and over again. However, the latest Naruto movie was impressive, we could at least keep the hopes up high. If i wanted things to go my way; i would like a HM-based movie. It would be interesting.

That, or Chad or Renji. These few gets too little moments of glory. :(

meaning ichigos dad (if he is a captain) is the 3rd generation.



1st gen = Yamamoto, soifong, Byakuya, tousen, aizen, Gin, hitsugaiya, kenpachi,

2nd gen = Yamamoto, yuroichi, kisuke, the vizards.

3rd gen = Ichigos dad... (and other captains?)

It was announced in the latest SJ cover with Ichigo on it. If I am not mistaken the cool BA birthday banner was based on the color spread announcing said movie :) At the end of the latest episode 176-77, during the Kon in New York adventure (premiere of Memories of Nobody) there is an advance preview of the movie (a snippent really) of the word "Sayonara Rukia" and Ichigo going,
"Oi Rukia,..and angsty scream of "RUKIA" (link at Ichiruki fc). So I image we'll see more Rukia in this one :yay Also should movie 3 be Rukia-centric, then we'll have three movies covering the top three most popular characters, then the fourth one might concentrate in Vizards, karakura gang, the Arrancars or even the shinigami (since the shinigami did dominate the top ten list.)

Which is exactly why I don't think they're going to do that, or any other canon stories for that matter. The Gaiden would be PERFECT for a movie, but it's too integral to the main story for Pierrot to force people to pay for it separately.

Alot of things can happan.. 1. somehow some villians show up and make her evil.she has to fight Ichigo and of course Ichigo cant fight her all out cause he wuv's her pyon! ^^ 2. She gets promoted to vice captain and cant go to the real world anymore. 3. Shes kidnapped and Ichigo has to save her.

The movies aren't canon, so even if she did die in the movie, it wouldn't really count. And I seriously doubt she dies, I'm sure she gets kidnapped or something and Ichigo has to save her ala the SS Rescue arc.

I have to agree with Velius though, it's going to be a bit "meh" if she just gets captured and Ichigo goes off to save her again. I'm hoping to see a lot of fighting and kicking ass in this movie (if I get a chance to see it x__x ). I'm also hoping the others will get a good amount of screen time (Ishida, Inoue, Chad, ect.) And seeing as how they're all close to Rukia, I'm sure we'll see more of them this time around.

However, I will not deny, I was totally hoping for an arrancar-centric movie. Maybe next time, though :3.

Annie posted a little review about Diamond Dust Rebellion in the IchiRuki FC some time ago, and from what she said it doesn't sound bad... though of course, I guess it also depends on what you're expecting from the movies. :D

Personally - being aware that they're nothing but glorified higher-budget filler - what I want from them is: 1) characters being at the very least mostly IC (something the first movie failed at miserably, but it seems the second one is better) and 2) fanservice of my favourite characters/pairings (something the first movie, once again, failed at miserably, but I have higher expectations for the second... though of course the main pairing will certainly be IchiHitsu :nuts).

So, I guess if you like Hitsugaya, HitsuMatsu, a little bit of IchiRuki and IchiHitsu, you'll enjoy Diamond Dust Rebellion and be able to ignore both OOC behaviours (which don't bother me terribly, as long as they're not COMPLETELY OOC) and plot holes - which you know will always be present regardless of characters and story. :lmao

Which is also why... Rukia-centric third movie with probably a lot of IchiRuki? :eek: Spot on, my dear movie makers, spot on! :love Now let's have some more information... and please, please, not a kidnapping plot. Anything but a kidnapping plot! :cry

P.S. I think Diamond Dust Rebellion DVDs will come out in September, so raws and subs will probably come out after that... :headscratch:

Eh, I'm excited for this movie. At least it's not another rescue plot and it's not revolved around some sappy/annoying OC.

I don't know why people get so down on something that's basically an hour and halfs worth of fanservice. Fights, funnies, and uh..something else starts with an F. :headscratch flying? Sure why not. :P

I'd probably be annoyed if I were an anime writer and I was told to write an interesting plot that couldn't show any character growth, new techniques, or anything in general that would add to/affect the series.

Starts off with Kon and Hanatarou’s conversation.
After saying stuffs like I am appearing this year the scene changes to Soul Society where it is being surrounded by a fog.
Inside there is Rukia.
Kon jumps on to her but Rukia cruelly stamps on Kon and without saying a word glares at Kon. (It seems like she lost her heart (?) or memory)
Hanatarou them murmurs who was that?
After the mist disappears we can see Ichigo surrounded by Shuuhei and Renji and fighting them.
They are treating him like if he was the one who destroyed Soul Society.
Ichigo asks if they remember Rukia but none of them seem to remember her.
Kon them interrupt and say his catch line, “Why the heck doesn’t anyone remember Nee-san! If you want to know then come to the theatre on December”

For those who don't remember, Rukia in the flashback is on the bridge scene, when Ichigo was about to fight a releasing Byakuya; she told him to run back then. Then we see a bit of Ichigo fighting with the shinigami and being restrained by an immobilisation spell. Then Rukia looking at him coldly and him being emo, calling out Rukia's name :love

It doesn't justify the fact that there are some members are deliberately causing strife. If it was the other way around, the IchiRuki fans would also be called out on their behavior.

It doesn't sound exactly like a SS rehash because from what I've heard, Rukia gets to play a more active role and actually fight. Ichigo might even be going up against her, which is something I've never seen happen.

Where does it say that she's going to die? They're not going to kill her off, even if the movie isn't in the regular universe of Bleach. It's pointless.

Fade to black could be a lot of things. It could be her disappearing, fading, from Ichigo's life. It could be even be her heart turning black, as she's taken by the scythe guy.

I'm surprised people are complaining about this movie being a SS rehash, I would think there should be tons of manga threads for that sort of complaint, considering the almost exact parallels between SS and HM. Well except for the fact that people seem to like SS more.

And really now, I doubt KT would give such a romantic, intimate title to this movie if Chad were in danger, unless he was implying that there's a romantic relationship between Chad and Ichigo. :rofl

Sayanora Rukia means goodbye Rukia, nothing more, nothing less. There is no evidence to conclude that she will die, only that she will be taken away for a different purpose. From the summaries I've read, she's supposed to lead the enemy army or have some sort of active role.

I really don't understand how you can presume she will die from goodbye Rukia and fade to black. Especially since the chances of pierrot killing her off is very slim. If you've paid attention to the screenshots and the summaries, it looks like Rukia turns away from him as though she's left him, not been killed, when he gives out that heart-wrenching scream. :cry

Suddely,strange beings attack Ichigo,who transforms into vizard to fight the,but because of that,he's accused to be the culprit,and SS commander ordered to catch him and execute him. Ichigo tries to ask where is Rukia,but nobody remembers her.
Kon wandered around SS looking for Rukia,but can't find her. She disappeared as well.
When Ichigo realized what happened to Rukia,it was too late.He was being catched by captains. Memories od suffering and sadness overcome his heart. Rukia forgot everyone's affection..Ichigo's affection..she has no heart. If you are going to make obvious cutting remarks like that, at least do it honestly. No one aprecciates sugar coating. At least I don't. It's two-faced.

We had important Ichiruki in the recent chapters. There was a huge boom in the FC when 317 came out. Not only that, but we've had lots of wonderful merchandise to top it off. The new movie will be like icing on the cake, not a payoff. ButI don't need to prove that to you, because you'll believe whatever you may. Just drop it.

We will just have to see how the romance aspect works out, but I'm optimistic :sweat

The tagline, "Sayonara, Rukia" could refer to her losing her memories and/or her heart/true self. The spoilers so far stated that someone stole her heart and because of this, she become cold and ends up not being Rukia anymore. Hence, the tagline, "Sayonara, Rukia."

that sounds similar to Tsubasa Reservoir chronicles. and the losing your memories theme has been replayed a few times so its starting to get boring. It would be way better if there was something everyone was looking and fighting for.

I want to see the actual trailer so much it hurts. And I hope and pray with all my heart that the spoilers <3IchiRuki<3 posted are true! I can't imagine a more shippy plot unless it was about their wedding or something. :D

they might do a ichigo vs renji fight in this one. (both using bankai)

that's all i can think of to look forward to if it is soul society vs ichigo.

also if shuuhei uses his shikai in the manga soon b4 the movie is released then they may put his shikai in this movie like a preview. like they did for rukia's shikai.

nothin else i can think of really to make it amazing...not that i think it will be bad or anything.
