Family: How about the Enemy? Where's the Gesso party?
Gamma: Somehow we managed to shake them off.

Gamma violently opens the door. The phantom knight stands there.
Gamma: Where's the boss?!
Knight: Thanks for everything, Gamma.

The Knight lowers his head in shame/regret.
Knight: .......Boss couldn't win against the illness.....
Gamma: .........!! is it the back room?
Knight: yeah
Gamma takes off.
Knight: Gamma!

Gamma enters the boss's room. In the bed that's there, there's a woman who's died in her sleep. The Girionello boss was a woman. On her cheek is a mysterious symbol. Gamma is dumbfounded.
Gamma: It really is like the boss said.... She was still so lively the day before yesterday..... this..... I.... can't believe.....
Gamma's thoughts: To protect the boss is the subordinate's duty.... I promised to protect her.... shit!! I.... It's my fault that....

Uni: That's not true Gamma.
Gamma: ?!
Uni: Welcome back.
Suddenly an unknown girl talks to a surprised Gamma. The Girl is wearing the same kind of hat as the boss and has the same symbol on her cheek.

Gamma: ......who are you?!
Uni: Nice to meet you, I'm Uni.
Gamma: Uni....? Hey!! That's the neckless the Boss wore! What are you doing!!
An Arcobaleno Pacifier is hanging from Uni's neck.
Uni: My mother handed it to me.
Gamma: Mother....? What are you saying.....
knight: Uni-sama is the Boss's daughter.
Gamma: !! wh-what?!
knight: among us nobody knows about it but she is the only successor with the bosses DNA and blood.

Gamma: N-No way!! For the boss to have a child.....
Knight: The boss didn't tell anyone. She also hid the fact that she was a Mafia Boss from Yuni-sama. So basically, she's just a regular person. But according to the law, if we dont make her the new boss...
Gamma: Are you kidding me?! Like I'd believe this kind of story!! This is all bullshit!! First of all, my only Boss is this person (woman)!
Uni: Gamma.

Uni: Mother knew it would be like this. She doesn't blame you at all.
Uni smiles kindly.

Gamma grabs Uni's arm. Uni's hat falls off and bounces on the floor.
Knight: Gamma!

Gamma notices something when he grab's Uni's arm.
Gamma: the sleeve, it's wet?!

~Flashback~

Boss: Why'd you want to talk Gamma? Sorry, but I don't really feel like fooling/messing around today.....
Gamma: I know.
Gamma: You've been crying right? That victim wasn't your fault.
Boss: I haven't cried.
Gamma: If you're trying to hide it, it's no use. Your sleeve is wet.
Boss: !
Gamma: You've been here every day.
Boss: ........Lately it's been useless.....
Gamma: .......? What's happened?
Boss: I don't believe it but it's been passed on for generations..... it seems my blood is cursed..... My dead mother was the same.....

Gamma is shocked as Uni's smile and the boss's reassuring smile overlap. Uni's pacifier starts glowing.
Gamma's thoughts: !! It's the same.... it even has the warm orange light. I see.... Boss.... Inside this child, you are....
Uni: alive.
Gamma's thoughts: !! my heart... you can read it?
Uni nods.
Gamma picks up the hat and gives it to Uni.
Knight: !

Gamma is getting even better as a character for me. Before I used to hate him bad, but now...he's pretty good.

And I never expected Uni to be like this. Now we've seen a bit of how's she's like she a character I actually like. I didn't expect her to have emotions. :P And after seeing this chapter, the common theory of there being something between Byakuran and Uni has completely left my mind. I don't think anything could be going on between them especially considering the tension between the two families was this strong. I never thought the Giglio Nero would be on the backfoot like that. Uni must be incredible.

There really shouldn't be much of a beef, plus remember this is Gamma's POV so some things might be twisted. So phantom himself was looking for peace amongst the Giglo Nero and the Gesso Fam. However he failed, and Uni had to work through it. Thus he follows the orders of Uni as well as Byakuran, because he likes the peace amongst them.

I can understand if Gamma had beef, because they killed his former boss, but they didn't. So clearly it was in Giglo Nero's advantage to merge with them. Gamma just seems to be sore, for no reason. Mafia is meant to conquer, if your weak your gonna get Conquered. And the Gesso kept pushing them back.

Remember Uni can read Byakuran's heart so obviously the meeting must be mutual when they decided to merge.

As for Byakuran being beat in the end, yeah maybe... But its gonna take a whole army :hm

And Ann Chan, I think its Giglio Nero since thats supposed to be translated into the black lily.

Because we clearly see Gamma before the formation with his Mare ring on, so it wouldn't make sense on how the Gesso got mare rings of their own, since it seems to be family specific to the giglo Nero.

Gesso may have b ranked rings lol, but not the above A ranked Mare rings.
