I hope t' be seein' him sometime soon, although the current chapters aren't exactly pointin' towards a manifestation...however, I would like t' see him influence the upcomin' battle finale in some way...it's obvious he still has a big role t' play, from the warnin's he gave Ichigo all the way t' Orihime's hesitation around the Vizard Ichigo. However, at this point in time, all we can do is speculate...

To contribute to the discussion, i believe that in a few chapter we may see H!Ichigo again, i think that Ichigo won't be able to beat GrimmJow in his current state >.< but that's just my opinion

Well, based on the spoilers of the latest chapter (283) [if they're true of course] then it appears as though he may make an entrance in Chapter 284...but that's pure speculation...

Well, here's my outlook on how where the current plot is going...

First off, I believe Ichigo had some kind of experience when he lost to Ulquiorra. I have no idea what exactly that is, however, if my theory is correct, we'll probably find out soon.

Now, when the fight between Ichi and Grimm started, Grimm told Ichi that he'd really come to HM to fight, and not just to save Orihime. Ichigo seemed to accept this, and as the fight progressed, proceeded to express that he was enjoying the fight. I believe the fact that Ichigo was fighting and enjoying it is probably why Hollow Ichigo allowed him such extensive use of his power.

That was, until, Ichigo began to recognize Orihime's reactions to his power. When Grimm proceeded to play dirty and fired an attack at Orihime, Ichigo defended, but Orihime still seemed afraid of him. At that, Ichigo appears saddened, as he begins to realize that the very power he trained so hard for to save Orihime is actually driving her away from him.

[My thoughts on what will happen in Chapter 283]

Because of this, he begins to lose his confidence, and his will to fight begins to erode. Grimmjow, seeing this happening as Ichigo slows down, proceeds to beat down Ichigo, telling him he hasn't changed at all. In Ichigo's moment of weakness, his hollow assaults him, enraged that Ichigo would lose his will to fight, and determined to take control so that he can finish the fight.


That's as far I've gotten in my speculations...I'll have to wait until at least Chapter 284 to add to it.

I can see that happening, but I am not that sure that Orihime being scared affected him that much, he almost instantly turned around and back to the fight.

True, but Ichigo still seemed affected by Orihime's reactions.

Fat Vaizard's name is Hachi (Hacchi?)

He'll be fine. But when another being's reiatsu is still interfering, it's much harder to safely heal the wounded. However, without the presence of the enemy, that reiatsu will dissipate eventually.

As for being covered in hollow reiryoku...well...I don't see how that would give him more mask time...Can you explain a bit more?

My little theory about mask time (may be wrong, probably is) is that it depends on how much hollow reiryoku you have, the more you have the more mask time and vice versa. Well, he has MASSIVE amounts of reiryoku already inside him. He just hasn't harnessed the Hollow-type reiryoku to its maximum. When he goes Vaizard mode, he begins to extract that reiryoku from within himself...so really, it all depends on whether he can continue to harness that for a length of time, which is what he was training to do. He already has it, he just doesn't have the control necessary to harness it all.

For some reason I always get the idea that Hollow Ichigo is far more powerful than other inner hollows, and I have a feeling that tapping into his full power will create one powerful Ichi.

Well we all saw how Hiyori reacted to him and she's probably the most powerful viazard of the lot, heck, he even suppressed her hollow back ffs! He defiantly ain't a normal inner hollow.

As everyone's also seen, every character that gets "angry" gains further power and pushes them selves to there limits, we have yet to even see him serious, god knows what he'll be like against aizen if he was to get seriuos and even pissed off.

I always see Ichigo killing Aizen and while he's injured in Las Noches with no way to get out, the Espada try to make him the new leader XD

The reason I half-think that Shiro might be coming back is that

a) We've seen Zaraki used as an avatar for Zangetsu, and by extension, Shirosaki.
b) Shiro, before disappearing, said he'd reappear if Ichigo ever faltered. However, Ichigo "died" at the hands of Ulquiorra, so... Iono.
c) I just checked ch.110, when Zangetsu appears after Zaraki pwns Ichigo... no black frame.

I can still pray for Shirosaki lol

I am a Hollow Ichi fangirl till the end. I mean, I inked a (bad) drawing of him a month ago, and I found a cross reference to the position he was in on pure coincidence and it wasn't really bad! (just the hand looked f**ed up, grumbles)

I became one because when I was on the 17th ep of Bleach my brother showed me episode 59 when Ichigo lost it against Byakuya. Now I don't even have to watch that ep with subtitles.

yep. However, I was staring at those chapters and pretty much being obsessive over them. My parents get unnerved if they see me like that (they think my brother's obsessed, not me because I actually do better under an obsession in the real world.) I actually got my ethernet pulled one night because I was "too obsessed." That told me to limit my desktop scans of Bleach to a few. My mother actually noticed one of my favorite Ichigo (just normal Ichigo) backgrounds recently and was sorta unnerved.

Lol. Ogichi fanfics. I search for them every day. But I get literally sucker punched everytime I see HichiIchi (*shivershiver*,) I have a weird tendency to read (and enjoy) ones that make Ichigo tortured (on FF.net, MissFlesh's Hard Way To Hollow was making me chuckle. It's really disturbing.)

OVA for Ogichi? The production staff might do one on Aaroniero vs Rukia, but I'm not sure about Ogichi vs Ichi. That's because they want moving, sentimental fights. Not just fights.

But if they did I would hop into my seat with some popcorn and be happy with Ogichi fanservice.

Without an FC, it takes a few months. But when your in an FC who starts fangirling a character/pairing with you, the process is exponentially speeded up.

Yes, really. It was 100 chapters till we saw his character. Technically it was 60, but that pattern didn't fit.
